Edgewater Escape

Had a fantastic stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was super responsive and made check-in easy. The location was perfect ā€” close to everything we wanted to explore. Definitely would stay here again and highly recommend!

Beautiful getaway

Very nice and spacious home. Description was very accurate. Perfect to accommodate our small friend group with kids. The game room was so cool and the kids loved it! The lights outdoor were perfect for such a dark road, it really helped us navigate and find the house.

Relaxing Retreat

We spent 2 nights at Edgewater Estate. We enjoyed time in the hot tub, coffee on the front deck, and delicious meals at nearby restaurants & brewery. The property is well stocked with everything we needed. There are plenty of local towns to explore and a wonderful lakeside trail. It was a perfect Fall getaway!

Great stay at the Lake!

House was exactly what we needed. Kids loved the game room to retreat to after a day on the water. Yard was perfect - fires at night, hot tub, and sauna were all used during our stay. We spent our mornings having coffee on the porch. Kitchen was fully equipped to make all our meals. Beds were a little uncomfortable but rooms were big enough for all families to spread out. Closets even big enough to put a pack and play if needed. Kids loved the bunk beds. Note that house does have AC but it is 2 mini splits - one in living room and one on 3rd floor - none in bedrooms. We had to go buy extra fans for bedrooms due to very hot weather. Not a deal breaker though - we will definitely stay here again!

A quick getaway at the lake

Me and a group of friends went to the lake for the weekend. The property was great with plenty of beds in the house and some great amenities outside as well. Highly recommended if youā€™re looking to get away and spend time near the lake.

Family weekend

My family of 5 and my sister's family of 4 stayed at the property for a weekend, to celebrate our grandparents' memorial service. The property was perfect for our families. Great space. Kids loved the hot tub and the game room!

Great Vacation Property

This house was recently renovated, so it was in excellent condition. The furniture and bedding was also in excellent condition and our family enjoyed the stay. The only improvement would be to have a chair in each bedroom so that you would be able to watch TV on a chair instead of setting on the bed.

We came to Paupack, PA for a girls weekend. The house was just as advertised. It was clean and everything we needed was there. We enjoyed spending time at the house in the hot tub and sauna and having fires in the pit at night. Would highly recommend this get-away home.

Lake Trip

This was our second time staying at this property. It was clean, well maintained and overall great. The outside space is great and the game room was a lot of fun. Itā€™s located 10 minutes or less from restaurants, boating and hiking trails.

Christmas Trip

We loved this property. It was extremely nice and was perfect for our Christmas family trip. There are tons of pots and pans to cook the property is well kept. Everything was clean, all the rooms were nice and I loved that there was a high chair and playpen for kids. There was also tons of kids toys. Everything was really perfect and we had a great time.

Planning to Stay Again!

Great house! Loved the hot tub and how nice the house was. Only minor let down was that the pool table wasnt full sized and very shaky so it was hard to play like how my friends are used to (we play on a league haha). But we had so much fun and are looking to stay again next year! There was a cute little welcome basket and everything was clean as well. HIGHLY recommend. Couldnt have asked for a better stay!

Great spot with Fun Amenities

Wish our stay lasted a little longer. We loved the jacuzzi and sauna. Kids (and adults) loved the gameroom. Not a true concern for us, however the fence isn't totally enclosed. And while we were looking forward to grilling some food outside, we noticed the propane tanks were empty. Not a big deal. All in all a great stay. Would go again!!

Beautiful area

The home was super clean and cozy and many amenities were close by. The Dock restaurant had great food, but was a bit pricey. We couldnā€™t use the fireplace on the front porch or the grill due to two empty propane tanks, the one full propane tank on reserve had a defective knob and could not be used. That was disappointing as I already had lunch going on the grill.

5 days with our family!

Itā€™s truly the best VRBO weā€™ve rented. . . It had plenty of dishes, utensils, pans, small appliances and sharp knives. . . and was equipped with plenty of towels and hooks all over to hang items One drawback is that there are two AC units on the 1st and 3rd floors. . . If you kept the doors to the bedrooms on the second floor open, you would feel some AC but get no privacy! Very nice, clean rental

A beautiful property

This house is so beautiful. We had a good time. The kitchen is very well stocked. It has everything you need. There are plenty of beds all with bedding. You donā€™t need to bring any linens.There is so many pillows, blankets, and towels. They also provided cleaning supplies in case you want to do laundry or dishes while you are there. I absolutely love the deck. I think that was my favorite. The sauna and hot tub were awesome. That was the kids favorite. It was snowing when we were there. The kids also loved the play room. They enjoyed having their own space to play away from the adults. We used the fire pit outside for s'mores, that was nice. It was a relaxing winter getaway.

Heartfelt getaway

This property is beautiful. The inside of the home is very clean and has very open and bright decor. Positive affirmations and special touches throughout. The game room upstairs was so much fun I havenā€™t played pool in years. Being able to bring our 3 doggies was so special. There also was a welcoming basket with crackers sweets and popcorn. We couldnā€™t have been happier with the place and the owners (who were kind to email and check in on how things were going). The flexibility of check in times really helped us so much. Thanks you for making this meaningful trip more special. We would rent again.

Very nice and clean

This house was the perfect spot for visiting our family during a reunion. The kitchen is well stocked with all that you need to cook a meal. The amenities are thoughtful and welcoming. The only downside that we found was that the description says central air. There is no central air. The air conditioning are two split units. One on the third floor and one on the first floor. The second floor, however, is where the bedrooms are located. If you sleep with the doors closed you have no air conditioning. Even on the first floor, if you close your door to sleep you have no air conditioning. This should be amended to have the description read accurately. Itā€™s a simple fix to put window units in the bedrooms in the summer, which is when we visited.
