We understand your frustration; however, it is important to note that there were several violations of our rental policy that resulted in you being asked to leave the property. This home has a no-pet policy that is clearly stated in our terms, which are agreed to upon booking. While it’s possible for renters to misread the rental posting regarding the no-pet policy at this home, it is still that renter’s responsibility to remove pets from the property (not just the interior of the house) when notified of said misunderstanding. Unfortunately, leaving the dogs barking in a car, parked in the driveway led to a disturbance to surrounding neighbors which runs afoul of our policy against excessive neighborhood noise. It is also important to note that neither the owners of this home, nor Meredith Lodging have cameras anywhere on the property. It’s highly likely that neighbors have the commonly used doorbell cameras that happen to capture the front of the home. Meredith expects renters to adhere to house rules and work in a civil manner with management (including not being confrontational with adjacent neighbors) to resolve any issue. Unfortunately, your actions and repeated violation of rental policies led to you being asked to vacate the home.
