When you’re ready to eat, whip up tasty meals and vacation drinks in the fully equipped kitchen -- complete with a frozen concoction maker!

As part of the island-inspired community of Margaritaville Resort Orlando, enjoy a destination within itself -- complete with fantastic dining, vibrant entertainment, and one-of-a-kind amenities.

House was well stocked and had everything we needed, pool was fantastic to have and watching the turtles in the pond was fun. Short walk to pool and the sunset walk with plenty of good food options--K Pot and The Wharf were our favorites. The hotel restaurant was great too. Reasonably priced drinks & snacks at the pool area and coffee shop.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay here in February was perfect. In November, we had some issues. Upon arrival, the fire alarm was beeping low battery, our pool needed skimming and after opening the slider, the ear-piercing pool alarm would not shut off even after pressing the button and locking the slider. All 3 items were responded to. In addition, the owner locked the master bedroom closet leaving us nowhere to hang our clothes and no access to the safe. This closet is not the specified owner's closet. The slider rungs and upstairs railings were very dirty. However, the overall cottage and location is absolutely beautiful. These comments are to make the management company aware. I still recommend this cottage.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cottage was welll cared for, but drab and lacking some basic comforts. We arrived to floors and countertops that were gritty/dirty. The kitchen has the bare minimum essentials. Toilet paper and other supplies were cheap and in short supply. The pool/hot tub was really neither. It’s too small to swim and too cold (with no control) for a hot tub. Lights have no dimmers and really harsh, with just one lamp downstairs leaving us with the option of blinding light or near darkness. Watching several of the units turn over during our stay it was a bit alarming to see them equipped with no real cleaning products. It was ok, but for the money we weren’t impressed.

Very spacious and a great location close to Disney, but also close to the main Margaretaville pool and main building ( only a 5 minute walk).On first appearance the villa looked clean, but on closer inspection it was not up to standards!A lot of dust and dirt on the floor that needed you to wear flip flops, unless you like black feet?! Also the runners of the patio doors were absolutely filthy, plus large weeds on the rear patio. Plus there is a serious mosquito problem! So forget going out the back pool at night!But overall it served its purpose to visit Disney & Bush Gardens, plus the added bonus of no resort fee and free parking!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Staying at the Cottages at Margaritaville is great. This was our second time staying there. The place was very spacious and beautiful. Unfortunelty we have a couple comments this time around. Our jacuzzi was nice at the cottage but we had no skimmer to get out the bugs, both lounge chairs that we available both were torn, the alarm button you press to disarm briefly did not work every time we opened the sliders, an upside down bowl with a dead frog was discovered in the guest bathroom on second floor, we had small bugs around the master bath sink (termites),no extra blankets were available or could not order them either as well as toilet paper (we had to buy more at the store), community pool was beautiful but the community jacuzzi turned my hot pink bathing suit top tie dye with purple swirls and my cape cod bracelet that I have had for 25 years (never taken it off) turned dark grey, the wait staff that walks around pool to bring beverages and food neglected to tell us that there is a 20% fee for them and an additional 20% for bar (8 drinks cost $150.00),no spray oil or salt and pepper for the kitchen. A lot of these might sound minor, but when you're on vacation you do not have a lot of these items handy. That is why you stay at a property because they have all of these items on hand. I complained when checking out and all they said was we will forward your comments to the maintenance staff.

Being woken up very early every morning by barking dog and loud neighbors who are residents, not renters, is the sole reason I would never book this property again. If you are an early riser and do not want to sleep past 5/6 am on your vacation then this is the right rental for you.

Reviewer Comments: I have come here 4 times and I have stayed in different houses but I didn’t like this last one, the house was dirty the curtains full of dust and the door to go to the pool and the balcony door were dirty full of dust the master room the bed is missing the box spring I couldn’t sleep I had a very bad time and I was going to file a complaint but I didn’t have time, my mother and my daughter got sick from all the dust they breathed, someone should supervise that house!! I love cottage margaritaville resort!

Check-in was uneventful, our first visit really knocked our socks off starting us off with a cool beverage! We love the cottages and that each are different. Our location was awesome, love the second floor balcony with water views! We enjoyed the pool and watching the turtles!Home was clean, the slider door must have been missed in renter transition. It was pretty dirty with handprints etc. We requested the temp of the pool increased from maintenaince, really responsive and friendly. We cooked in a bit, dish towels, a strainer and a spatula would have made it easier. Everything else was right there! The shuttle crew continue to impress, they are quick, helpful with local tips, super friendly! We will be back, we make great family memories at Margarittaville!

Only complaint would be the neighbor was loud in morning, waking us up around 630 every day. They also had a dog that barked on and off. That wouldn’t be so bad except that the houses are so close together and it sounded like the dog was in our cottage.

The blinds that cover the master sliders are all broke and missing slats so we could not move them and we had no privacy. One chair in the kitchen the leg was completely snapped . The floors were so dusty under table they had not been swept or washed in some time. We found a,fake eye lashes on the floor. The pool outside was lacking so much water the jets did not work anymore. There was used bandaid stuck on the deck that had not been cleaned obviously. The house is in a great location but lacks upkeep.

Beds were comfortable if you like soft mattress. The unit was clean upon arrival. Toilet paper holders are loose. Door hinges need to some WD-40 as they squeaked a lot. Blinds in masterbed room do not close or open. The slats are broken or missing. The blinds in the living room do not open and some of the slates are broken (don't open or close but not missing).

A Little Disappointed

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We usually love the homes we have stayed in at Margaritaville. While this house was decent overall, there were some minor issues. We weren’t able to use the pool during our stay. It was dirty and not blue in color like the other pools in the homes next to ours (they all have the same pools). Contacted the property management company 2 times. First time was told someone would go out to look at it and we’d get a call back advising if the pool was good. Nothing happened. 2nd time was told the pool company would be out that day for scheduled maintenance but they couldn’t tell us if the pool was good for swimming or not. Pool company came and just poured some chlorine in - didn’t clean out whatever was on the bottom of the pool. This was on our 2nd to last day there so we just gave up. Near the beginning of our stay we also had to request 2x for the pool heat to be turned on. There were also cobwebs left in the primary bedroom upstairs in a couple areas. The surrounding Margaritaville area and Sunset Walk was great as always, but don’t think we would pick this house to stay in again. While check in and out was an easy and pleasant process, it was disappointing to have to request things multiple times before they’d be done.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a great stay BUT the bath towels were more like dish cloths, leaving only enough dishwasher pods for three washes, leaving only enough washing machine soap for two loads as well as not providing additional trash bags is STINGY. we had to use the terrible towels and had to buy the other supplies for our one week stay. You should rethink your supply allocations. It didn’t cost much and thankfully we had a car to get to the store

Great view and location

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location and views from the house. But the house overall needs singe upkeep. The master bedroom blinds that cover the huge slider to the upstairs deck was missing 3 slats from the blinds and the other ones that were hanging would not turn so we could not close the blinds so we we woken up early every morning. The bathroom toilet paper holders were falling off the wall. The spool hot tub/pool was very murky and the hot tub did not heat up we called to get it fixed and no one ever came we were there for 7 days. The furniture on the patio had spider webs ll over every piece as well as the whole gate that surrounded the pool area and also the upstairs patio I dont think it had ever been cleaned. Alao we had huge mounds od ant hills surrounding the whole pool. So for 7 nights we had 1 set of towels each for the week and 1 package of laundry detergent the money you pay to stay in these places they should provide more towels trash bags etc. So we had to wash towels every day on out vacation and had to buy toilet paper trash bags, per towels and laundry detergent. Overall we had a great vacation but the money they get for these homes and the cleanliness of them and up keep is lacking. Needs a little TLC
