Star of the Sea is a gorgeous ocean front home with amazing views of the Pacific Ocean and Siletz Bay. Enjoy the ease and privilege of having private beach access and spend the day playing in the sand. This great beach house has a full kitchen, gas BBQ, cable TV, two fireplaces, wireless Internet access and hardwood floors. Explore the Taft District of Lincoln City by visiting the local stores, bakeries, restaurants, and art galleries. You can even blow your very own glass float at a local studio! Whether you keep busy at the beach or in town, or just take time to kick your feet up and relax in the master bathroom jetted tub, Star of the Sea is a home you will want to visit year after year!

There were a few lights out and no pictures on walls so it echoed a lot but besides that great for the money stairs down to beach are a bitRough so if u have knee or hip issues and want beach access from the house might not be for u but for those who don’t mind a great view huge yard and access for able body people it’s perfect

Excellent Location

The property was clean, and a prime location for so many fun things. Direct access to the beach was fantastic! and having a fenced yard for my pups was great.

Can't beat the view

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend watching the waves. Lots of room and large windows for viewing the beach.

Location location location!

1) beautiful view & good location 2) aggressive/numerous flies, bring your fly swatter or bug zapper 3) mattresses were universally suboptimal, many sore backs in our 4 couple crew 4) could use some updates, including screens on the windows/sliding doors, bathroom updates, etc. BUT overall a nice location for a beach getaway with a view.

Girls weekend

We had 9 ladies for a girls weekend of paddle boarding and hiking. This house was perfect for beautiful beach views. The stairs were a beautiful entrance to the beach, after a day full of hiking they were harder so walk up and down but not bad. We all said we would stay here again.

COFFEE SISTERS OCEAN FIX

Met expectations for beach experience.

Unfortunately, we had a broken washing machine and not all the outlets worked. Oh, and a raccoon (the size of a large cat) lived under the house so small pet owners beware. Otherwise, it suited our family of 10 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs perfectly.

King tides getaway

I highly recommend this property. It was clean, had bedrooms on both floors so those who struggled with stairs could stay on the main floor. There were only two recommendations I would make to the owner. First would be to fix the lock on the front door, as it was very difficult to open. Second would be to add comfortable seating in the sitting area on the main level (a couple big comfy chairs or loveseats). Other than those two things, it was wonderful, with plent of kitchen utensils, very comfortable upstairs living room, fabulous views of the ocean from both levels. I would definitely rent this house again.

Lincoln City - Star of the Sea

We enjoyed our stay at the "Star of the Sea" - on Lincoln City. Beautiful views, especially from the top floor living room and balcony. The house is a bit older and has some items that could use some love. Several rooms had blinds that were broken, so we couldn't block out the early morning sunlight. The garage was kind of messy, which isn't a huge deal, except for keeping the kids away from some of the items left in there. We enjoyed this house with our friends, perfect size and location. Access to the beach was amazing and the stairway down was a nice adventure. Meredith Lodging were accommodating and quick to respond. Thank you!

Thanksgiving Get Away

We had a wonderful time! The view is amazing! We had Thanksgiving dinner and I brought a couple extra baking pans but I was amazed at what they had available for cooking utensils. It was great to walk to the beach and to have a mostly fenced yard when I took the dog out in the rain. A few maintenance issues. Porch light was out but managed with the garage light. No fan in the bathroom. Overall I wanted to bring my family and my dogs to the beach for a Thanksgiving gathering. I don’t think I would have found a better option and we had a fabulous time ♥️ We would definitely come back!

The view and beach excess is absolutely amazing. The home is in need of some maintenance. Some family members said the beds were to hard, while mine was just fine. The vertical slats were missing in several areas. Some were even broken. Privacy was compromised. The house siding on the patio were melted, I'm guessing someone got the BBG to close to the house, that really should be repaired. It actually melted the window frame in that bedroom. The house was excellent in the fact there was no carpet in any rooms. I have severe allergies and carpet is the worst. It's also great for having your fur babies with you. I found your couches upstairs to be very comfy and the view for watching the storm and king tides was awesome. The upper shower on the outside needs some silicone to waterproof that area, the stick that was placed there doesn't really do anything. Maybe the house keepers should clean the cabinets above the microwave, they are actually dripping with oil and very greasy. Lastly- to make the house a little more inviting - turn the heat on when people are coming to the house. It was like 52 inside when we arrived. Just a bit cold for us old people
