Lovely stay!

The house was the perfect size for our group and everyone had a great time! We loved the bar and pool room downstairs the most!

We enjoyed the house and the 3 bedrooms many of the storage places. Dishes pots and pans ETC were labeled which was helpful. The pine needles that kept falling on the out side area. We tried hard to keep the traffic area clear but we’re not always successful and track some in. Mountain View was great. Also if he deer that sometimes showed up one was nice also If we are in the area again would consider this unit again

The views off the back deck were amazing and we sure enjoyed the ever changing weather — there was rain, hail, rain/snow or light snow every day we were there — though not all day. It was nice to have various options for sitting on the deck as well as the nice sized hot tub and fire pit area with seating.The large and well stocked kitchen area and open floor plan into the dining and living room with the wall of windows/sliders was awesome especially when family visited — the home has plenty of room to spread out and enjoy.

We had a great stay at this property. The home was very clean, spacious, and exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the kitchen was one of the best-equipped vacation rental kitchens we've experienced.The hot tub was fantastic, and the view was absolutely amazing. We ended up booking the home at the last minute while searching for a long-term rental after the sale of our home closed, and it worked out perfectly for our situation. The owners were very accommodating and graciously allowed us to extend our stay when our plans changed.The only thing that would have been helpful to know ahead of time is that the yard is not fenced. Other than that, the property exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly stay here again.

Christmas get away

Our family enjoyed staying at this house over Christmas. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have quiet time when needed and a large gathering area for everyone to spend time together exchanging gifts and playing games. Great family time!!!

Lovely View

The house was perfect for two families traveling from out of state. We appreciated the 4 bathrooms and all of the kid stuff in the closet. My almost two year old loved the big trucks. The view was unbelievable! I couldn't get enough of Mt. Rainier. The kitchen was well stocked.

Wonderful Stay

Our family enjoyed the South Hill house and would rent again when in the area. Communications were clear and helpful; the team were able to support some date changes and early checkin that made our trip much easier. The house was well stocked for cooking, the beds comfortable, and plenty of room. Our dog enjoyed the decks and grass areas to play. Views of Rainer are epic on a clear day.

Tacoma work trip

Had a few issues at beginning of stay to get fireplaces going (no instructions in guest book). Place was well stocked, kitchen is fabulous. The beds were very firm. I prefer a softer mattress. Plenty of space as listed. Quiet neighborhood. Would stay again and would recommend to others.

This property is absolutely outstanding — and the views of Mt. Rainier are unlike anything I've ever experienced. Whether you're gazing out from the deck at sunrise, watching the last light of dusk kiss the snow-capped summit, or simply catching a glimpse through the towering Pacific Northwest evergreens, Rainier is your constant, breathtaking companion throughout the entire stay. I found myself stepping outside again and again just to take it all in.From the moment we arrived, it was clear no detail had been overlooked. The home had everything we could possibly need for a perfect getaway. We spent our evenings out on the patio having great conversations, played pool downstairs, and even found a thoughtful box of popcorn waiting for us — a lifesaver since I forgot to pack snacks!I set out some bird food and spent quiet moments just watching the local wildlife come and go. The neighborhood is wonderfully peaceful, making it easy to truly unwind. If you're looking for a place that checks every box — and wakes up every morning to one of the most iconic mountains in the world — this is it. We'll definitely be back.

Quiet and Cozy

Great place. One issue was one of the bedrooms on the main floor was very warm and stuffy. When I tried to open the sliding door to get some air flow, the door does not open. Actually all the sliders in the home has seen some significant wear.

The house is a destination!

The house is the destination! This beautiful home was stocked better then any home we have rented. We came up to have Thanksgiving with family. This house was the perfect setting, the views of Rainier are incredible! The fireplaces kept it warm and comfortable, the deck was just right and the fire pit set the mood. The beds were very comfortable and cozy. The kitchen had more then everything needed to make a full Thanksgiving Dinner. The pool table and downstairs bar made socializing and relaxation possible. I cannot say enough great things about how cute, cozy and comfortable we were in this home.

Family Vacation

This property had some great extras with kids toys. Our Grandson lives close by and he was with us a lot during our stay. The kitchen is stocked and a few extras with flour, sugar, spices and some condiments in the fridge. A nice extra to not have to purchase for our stay. The BBQ was a plus. There’s also a jacuzzi that we didn’t take advantage of. With our kids (in their 20’s) being so close by, the downstairs pool table and bar/kitchen was such a fun added treat!! We will definitely stay here again. There’s towels, sheets and a hairdryer too. Lots of blankets. The kitchen was perfect for us too!! And tv too

What a gem!

This house is a hidden gem! Extremely spacious and accommodating for families. I’m very picky when it comes to beds but these beds were comfy. I slept like a baby every night. The midcentury vibes with lots of windows made even the cloudy days feel bright. That downstairs entertainment area was a blast to hang out in the evenings. And that view… my goodness that view was unreal. We spent an entire day just hanging at the house enjoying the mountain mood swings. There were moments we felt like we were floating in the heavens above. 15/10 would and will come back. Thank you so much for opening up your lovely home!!

Lovely mid-century with stunning view

This house would be perfect for family getaways! Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with views of Mount Rainier from the primary bedroom, family room and deck. Ample space and had everything we hoped for and more. Clean, comfortable, with a cool mid century vibe. I’ll be recommending this VRBO to friends and family visiting the area.
