Eleven09--A Fine Guest Experience in the Sayles/Highland Historic District

We are Abilene's original and adored Eleven09. Guests call us the gold standard in vacation rentals and we would love to show you why!!
The entire Eleven09 property can accommodate a maximum of 10 guests. The main house is all on the ground floor and sleeps up to 8 in a comfortable master bedroom with king bed and ensuite bath featuring a large walk-in shower, a bedroom with two twin beds, and a queen bedroom both of which share a full hall bathroom. Upstairs, over the detached 2 car garage, you will find a self-contained king bed suite with lovely, equipped kitchenette and full bath with stand-up shower. Two more guests can be accommodated back in the main house on the living room queen size sofa bed with uber-comfortable memory foam topper. Eleven09 also has a fully equipped kitchen in the main house, a dining room with seating for 6 plus an extra table available for seating an additional 6 guests, a washer/dryer, crisp, clean bed linens, plush towels and robes, WIFI, and Smart TVs with live local and cable channels in all bedrooms, living room and back patio.
Our back garden is a highlight of the property. It is everyone's favorite spot to relax with family and friends. It's so lovely that it has even been host to a small wedding and frequently guests use it to entertain their friends for a wedding shower, baby shower, ladies' luncheon or family college graduation celebration.

VERY IMPORTANT! ***Please make sure to reach out to us if you would like to have a get together at the property, that includes more than the guests staying overnight so that we can coordinate details.***

beautiful and perfect for a group of friends

A group of 8 ladies so enjoyed this beautiful , very accommodating property, The home is decorated beautifully, there is every convenience to make your stay great. Close to everywhere, very nice neighborhood, very safe. Our wonderful hostess even bake a delicious pumpkin cake for our stay. We will definitely stay here when visiting Abilene again.

We love Abilene and we love Eleven09! Melissa is the best. She truly has thought of everything to make a visit memorable. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be able to return soon. It was perfect for our family! Highly recommend!

Upon arrival, we were greeted with breakfast items, Christmas napkins, coffee and so many extras. The communication was excellent, along with the entire stay from the hospitality to the charming home. Our family stayed in the home for a college graduation and celebrated after in their beautiful backyard. Thank you for going above and beyond!

The property is very nice and you felt like you were at home staying there. The house stayed very cool while the tempature outside was 100+. I don't have anything negative to say about the property would differntly recommend to others.

Relaxing and enjoyable

We had a great time and loved the accommodations. The proprietors were very responsive. Suggestions: Working blender (the one there did no work), the fan remote in the room with twin beds did not work (you could not turn the light off without turning the fan as well), there was no Kleenex in the whole house.

Perfect in Every Way!

We so enjoyed our stay at Eleven09! The house is perfect in every way. We stayed during the awful 105+ Texas heat and the house stayed cool and comfortable. The house was extremely cozy and had every amenity you could think of. Beds were super comfortable and we felt right at home the entire time. Melissa, the property manager was great and made certain we were well taken care of... not to mention her excellent communication through the entire process! We will definitely be staying at Eleven09 again, can't recommend it enough!

Family reunion

The house is truly remarkable! Amazing attention to detail with everything we needed to enjoy our two days in Abilene. We had 9 family members staying and everyone had a great time. We felt at home and really appreciated the owners thoughtful gestures like the lemon cake (delicious!), eggs, juice milk and waters. Our family enjoyed the outdoor area and spent most of our free time there. A little warm, but we live in Texas, so used to the heat. If we ever decide to rent our house on VRBO we will be taking a LOT of ideas from the owners! Exceptional all around and HIGHLY recommended!!!

Great Place to Stay In Abilene

Centrally located in Abilene , Eleven-O-Nine (Main House and Roomy Apt) was the perfect place to bring family together for a recent wedding. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Young and Old...perfect. The decor was just darling and relaxing. There were personal touches including a well-stocked Keurig station, candies from a local purveyor, a bowl filled with goodies in the kitchen, a notebook with info on local Abilene shopping, restaurants and "things to do". Last but certainly not least "Dat Patio" out back is the bomb. Replete w/ open air and covered seating spaces, a swing and a wonderful vibe. Overall we were grateful to have this space for the action packed weekend. Special thanks to the Noonans for being wonderful and attentive hosts. NOTE: The gorgeous, well-thought-out apartment in back requires folks to be able to ascend/descend stairs.

Amazing in Abilene

This is a beautiful property conveniently located to downtown and other shopping areas, and is one of only a few large enough for our group of 10. Melissa made sure we had key info and provided welcoming refreshments. We had an amazing stay!

Meet the new gandbaby!

What a neat home in a great part of town! The owners were excellent and even brought buy breakfast food along with water/milk/orange juice/eggs/bacon etc! My wife son and I made the trip to Abilene to meet our new born grand daughter. The home was perfect and clean! Will be back!

1109 is clean, comfortable and charming! It is the perfect space for family and friends to gather with a great back porch, well stocked kitchen and great location. We will definitely book it again!
