Enjoy Spectacular Views of the Salish Sea, Olympic Mountains & Lush Rainforest. Our suite has a healing theme, so it’s great for 1-2 person retreats!

You are bound to feel the incredible healing energy of these lands in your mind, body and soul!

Professional coaching, wellness services (and retreat packages) available on-site at an additional fee such as Indian head massage, sound healing, professional coaching, yoga, meditation and reiki.

Delicious nutritious meals also available on-site at an additional fee. Our in-suite menu offers beautifully crafted heat & eat meals prepared by wonderful local chef’s with your nourishment, enjoyment & convenience in mind.

Enjoy time relaxing and rejuvenating in the comfortable new suite with private deck. If you prefer to prepare your own meals there is a compact kitchen which even includes a dishwasher!
Our one bedroom suite features a king size bed, smart tv with HBO & Crave for movies, free wifi and even air conditioning (a rare find in the area).
Nearby East Sooke Park offers a gorgeous white sandy beach only 5 mins drive & 1400+ hectares of coastal rainforest; great for hiking!

Please note: We are a smoke-free unit and property, no pets permitted, no children 12 and under and no parties are permitted. (If you are looking for somewhere to party, get drunk or high please don't stay here. This is a wellness stay.) We are permitted to operate and registered on the new BC Provincial short term rental registry.

It is a lovely property. Excellent for a reflective and restfull stay. I especially lived sitting outside admiring the view. Very esay access to a variety of local hikes. Loretta is a wonderful host and i enjoyed uaing her spa services

Lovely retreat

A lovely place to stay, quiet with beautiful views. Good hiking and good eating in almost every direction. Check out The Sea Chest if you’re there on a weekend!

Clean, Quiet, Comfortable

This lovely cottage is quiet, clean and comfortable with thoughtful touches and considered design. Amazing views and convenient to hiking trails, Sooke Harbour, and Metchosin. Host Loretta was kind and welcoming. Would recommend.

Quiet getaway

Beautiful and Rejuvenating

Excellent modern cottage with a breathtaking view of the ocean and Olympic mountains. Ideal location for exploring all the great trails in East Sooke Park. We came back rejuvenated. Loretta is a very friendly and caring host.

Great place for relaxing

It was so peaceful place. Clam and beauriful view around there. It was definetly good place remove all of our stresses. The host was great too. Everything is perfect. We will visit again next time. Thanks Loretta.

Pristine Pacific Pad

Arriving at the property was a blessing. Folks, be sure to use GPS and spell the road name properly. Meeting the host was a pleasure and we found the cottage pristine and comfortable. The ocean views are to be enjoyed around the clock with the star-filled skies a true bonus. The cottage is very well equipped.

Idyllic, quiet and pristine

I had such a lovely stay in the wellness suite. The view was incredible and the suite had everything I needed for a comfortable weekend of solitude. The intention behind the suite to provide a wellness-based experience was much appreciated and exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Loretta!

Peaceful, modern, comfy, amazing view

Excellent bright and modern cottage with a breathtaking view of the ocean and Olympic mountains. It is spotless and comfy, the kitchen is very well equipped which makes it easy to cook in. The host also offers frozen meals from local chefs to warm up if you are not in the mood of cooking. Very thoughtful. Perfect location in East Sooke. Loretta is a true superhost. In addition she offers wellness services, coaching etc. if you are interested. We would love to come back to the area and would definitely stay again at Loretta's retreat.

A Cleansing Retreat

We had a wonderful, replenishing stay at Loretta's property - from initial communications to our check out Loretta was a thoughtful, and hospitable host who reflects the peaceful energy of the space. As for the home itself, the view overdelivered and the interior was thoughtfully planned out with everything you need. If you want somewhere to recharge your batteries, this is the place to do it, and as if that wasn't enough, Loretta also offers massage and reiki. Again, we had an absolutely wonderful stay and would recommend to all who are seeking a peaceful and cleansing retreat.

Serene and restorative

This is a special place. Peaceful and soothing decor and views, with wellness options on-site (next door), and healthy, organic foods that can be ordered from a menu. It is a place to exhale, and feel comforted. It is a great choice for those who want to reconnect with themselves, whether just as beautiful accommodations and views (and nearby parks and nature), or by adding some of the wellness options (reiki, sound healing, etc). Review the website for a sense of the options available!I stayed for 10 restful, restorative days. I did a combo of cooking for myself and ordering from the menu, and I did several of the wellness options. The host, Loretta, is true healer. Kind and insightful, she brings compassionate energy and caring to her work. Of course, the wellness services are optional, but I recommend it to those who are so inclined.Highly recommended.

Luxury Spot to Relax and Unwind

This luxury suite is perfect for a weekend away, or a few days to unwind and relax. The unit is brand new, bright and spacious. The ocean and forest view from the huge sun filled windows is breathtaking and the suite is very comfortable and has everything you need to feel at home. Located on a ridge above the coastline, you are immersed in nature with all the modern amenities you’d expect for being on vacation. All you need to bring is your food. There is a convenient restaurant, pizza place and coffee shop within an easy 15 minute drive east of the suite. The town of Sooke is a 20 minute drive west. I highly recommend taking advantage of Loretta’s unique and personal sound healing sessions during your stay. They are wonderful and you will be floating to sleep that night with the stars and moon. I love it here and can’t wait to return. Gail Scott

Exceptionally Gorgeous Property and Absolutely Lovely Hosts!

Our breath was literally taken away each day by the exquisite design, privacy and comforts of this amazing property coupled with the unparalleled, truly stunning views of the beautiful deep blue ocean and the gorgeous snow-capped Olympic Mountain range. Relaxing on the deck was the high point of each day as we were very fortunate to have such beautiful weather. Our visit went by extremely fast and of course we certainly wanted to stay longer! Hosts Loretta and Jeff thought of every detail in designing this property and providing all of the comforts of home. They were always incredibly attentive and so very kind! We very much enjoyed staying at this fresh, extremely clean, brand new property with its sleek modern design and we look forward to returning again! We also enjoyed eating at several great restaurants in the area, going out on many lovely hikes, seeing wildlife, bike riding on the trail as well as visiting Qualicum Beach, Nanaimo, Salt Spring Island and of course, Victoria! Afternoon tea at Butchart Gardens is always amazing as well as the gardens, of course! This is the perfect getaway location for a fun and very relaxing vacation! Thank you very much, Loretta and Jeff! You’re the best!

Un séjour paisible où se ressourcer dans la nature

Mon copain et moi sommes restés 4 nuits dans la Chaumière Juan de Fuca. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons monté la côte jusqu'à notre suite, qui est située juste à côté de celle des propriétaires : ils sont d'ailleurs très accueillants et chaleureux ! La suite est magnifique, à couper le souffle. La vue sur l'eau et sur les montagnes rend le séjour tellement agréable. Nous avons eu la chance de discuter avec Loretta, qui offre également des services de relaxation, de massage, de méditation et autres! Nous avons alors pu profiter d'une expérience très ressourçante. Nous avons grandement apprécié la propreté de l'endroit, l'intimité et le sentiment de reconnecter avec la nature. Je recommande cet endroit à toutes et à tous!!! Merci encore, Loretta & Jeff, vous avez été les meilleurs hôtes et notre séjour chez vous a été la plus belle expérience que nous avons eue en Colombie-Britannique!

As a Host, ICF Certified Coach and Wellness Guide Loretta is honoured to offer a space for others to come and stay where they take time to be present with themselves and nature. She enjoys creating a stay worth remembering and offers a level of contact desired by guests.

She knows that we all have the wisdom inside of ourselves to find harmony within, but sometimes we need someone to hold space for us. Therefore she offers additional wellness services such as retreat packages, massage, meditation/sound healing, yoga, professional coaching...if interested you can book these services separately. She uses ancient and modern healing practices to gently guide her clients back to their natural state of being; inner balance, confidence and joy.
