Take a step back and enjoy this unique and tranquil getaway on Bob’s Lake. It’s the perfect escape to fish, relax, hang with friends, or spend time with family. The bay is quiet and you'll love the view whether you are enjoying your coffee from the massive deck, screened in room, or relaxing inside on the sofa. Water is 20ft deep off the dock so you don’t have to worry about weeds. Kp trail is 10 mins away which offers 189km of trail riding!

We enjoyed the beautiful Fall trees, the view and the accommodations. The sunrises were gorgeous. We only had one small issue and the hosts were very kind to address it right away. We will consider staying again sometime when we are in the area!

A cozy well-appointed cottage with a gorgeous view of the lake from the outside deck. We really enjoyed our stay and made good use of the BBQ, board games and new dock at the lake. Would recommend highly!

Great stay by the lake

The dock and water was spectacular and exactly what we wanted. The cottage had everything we needed and worked for 5 adults. The loft has quite low ceilings and the bathroom in the loft has no privacy but otherwise the property was fantastic. The BBQ, AC and wifi worked well. Scott was easy to communicate with. A lovely cottage and area.

We loved our stay in this loft! The patio looking over the escarpment and across the lake was awesome, we spent most of our time just hanging out on this patio enjoying the peace and quiet (and of course abundant bird songs! The cottage was tidy and had everything we needed. Dog friendly was definitely a bonus as our rescue pup had a wonderful time with all the new sights and smells. We will definitely be back to enjoy this cottage again in the future!

The cottage was very clean and cozy. The outdoor view was amazing. Lots of room on the deck for entertainment and enjoying good company.

Clean cottage to suit 2 couples and a few chidren comfortably. Great water access, has so.e steps to get there but a great spot. Owner very helpful. Would rent again!!

Wonderful stay on Bob's Lake

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage and property are beautiful, with a big view of the lake and deep swimming off the dock. Stairs to the water are very well built with railings. The cottage has a lovely deck and screen room. Thanks for a great week of family memories!

Quiet retreat

We spent a week and it was incredible, property owner was great to communicate with, amenities were exactly what we needed. Clean clear water to swim every day in, great wifi for teenagers, quiet relaxing on deck listening to lions. Perfect!!

Fantastic experience

We were a group of 8 young adults wanting to go away from the city for the long weekend. Scott was very accommodating and responsive. For 8 adults the inside of the cottage was a little tight but we didn't mind it. Caught a few fish. The BBQ was not in a good shape but Scott let me know he's revamping it. Highly recommend!

Beautiful lake!

The view and the swimming at this private spot are second to none! The modern amenities were appreciated by the younger set (strong wifi, smart TV, A/C). I would recommend double checking all of your must-have amenities/supplies with the responsive host before setting out as the neighbouring towns have limited supplies (soap, drinking water, condiments, etc). Thanks for a great last-week-of-summer getaway!

Stayed at Scott's place with family visiting from out of town. We were four people and it was a perfectly sized, relaxing and quiet space for us. The air conditioning worked great. Beds were comfy, towels were plenty, kitchen utensils and appliances were as advertised. We had all we needed to make full meals, though the kitchen table had just three chairs, so we were happy we had an extra chair with us for games at night. Scott was helpful with communication before and during out stay. Check in and out went smoothly. The dock and lake were so lovely and when we were there, the water was super warm. Just a bit of a heads up that we did encounter the OPP when we took the canoe out on the lake. We appreciated the stay a lot :)

Great fall getaway

Had a lovely last minute visit with 2 friends. Beautiful moonlight over the lake, meals on the deck and swims in the lake. We canoed, paddle boarded and biked in the area - 5 kms to the recreational trail. Ceiling in the loft is probably low for most adults. Scott was very easy to communicate with

Fun spot!

Beautiful lake, great dock and swimming, cottage is equipped with essentials. We had some unforeseen (fault of no one) hiccups, and the owner was super communicative and helpful. Thanks for the stay! (PS. Yes there are a lot of stairs, but the exercise was welcomed by our group. And we were lugging an 18month old up and down!)

A Swimmers Delight

We loved our short stay at Cobby House. The cottage is light and airy with plenty of seating opportunities. The view from the deck is spectacular, and the swimming was divine. Deep water off the end of a new dock. It poured rain our entire 2 day stay, but was bright and sunny on our check out day. Scott was kind enough to offer us a late check-out so we were able to experience this lovely property at its finest for a few hours. Thank you so much for that, Scott!

Amazing view

Great, recently renovated property. You will find all you need and no expense was spared in equipping the kitchen. The small, charming town of Sharbot Lake is about 5 min drive in case you forget anything or feel like going to the restaurant. If you come with your motor boat the ramp is a minute away. Very private property, with no weeds and deep entry to the water. The host is super responsive and very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Bobs Lake was beautiful. The new dock and chairs were lovely. The walk down from the cottage was a little treacherous, but solid and railings were good. The deck around the cottage was good. Some chairs had no cushions (just plastic slats) and there was no umbrella for the table. The BBQ was started with great difficulty. The cottage was rather disappointing. 3 chairs for the table; beds were not comfortable; towels needed to be tossed; ran out of toilet paper and potable water (we had asked about water, but no reply until it was too late); couches were stained and ragged; some chairs were too saggy to sit in; ceiling fans were noisy and rattly; no shampoo; little soap; cobwebs were visible and carpets were dirty and dusty. Maybe we were not prepared to bring our own - but nothing in the info provided. All in all - lovely setting. The lake and view were the best part. People should be warned about the 5 minute walk to the lake - as it is all steep stairs. All in all, the cabin might be a knock-down. Save the view of the beautiful lake.
