Amazing Views, Close to Town, Hot tub, Privacy

This apartment was part of an extensive remodel to our 1906 Farmhouse in 2016. The outstanding feature of this property is the view. We are 5 minutes from downtown Black Mountain and 20 minutes from Asheville. Without climbing a mountain, you will have spectacular, breathtaking views from the patio, bedroom, and living room. The patio covers two sides, with one area being covered with lighting and ceiling fans, and the other is open with a dining table and cushioned outdoor seating surrounding a natural gas fire pit table and 2 2-person hot tub.
The interior of the apartment has been decorated in clean, crisp reds and grays to resemble the interior of a Swiss Chalet because the owner is Swiss. It has a complete galley kitchen with full-size appliances, including a washer and dryer. The dining area is furnished with a traditional Swiss banquet table. The living area accommodates a queen sofa bed with a memory foam mattress and two comfortable swivel chairs to turn and look at the views. The bedroom has a 4-poster California King bed, a small dresser, and a closet. Both the bedroom and the living room have separate access doors to the bathroom.
Our home is situated on 4 acres surrounded by woods in the back and a horse pasture across the road. Although we allow no pets in the apartment, we do have a dog who will not interact with our guests unless our guests choose to.
In addition, there is a real wood-burning fire pit up in the back yard that guests are welcome to use (when open burning is allowed and pre-arranged with us so we can get it set up for you).
We have designed this apartment to accommodate adults and not families with children younger than 16. Wi-Fi is available, as are two televisions. Smart TVs are located in both the living area and the bedroom. Both have access to numerous streaming options (guests provide passwords)
Guests have parking for one vehicle (special arrangements can be made for more). There is a private entrance to the apartment. You will notice in the photos that guests have lots of private space. The entrance and the entire side patio are completely private from the main residence. As host and hostess, we hope to welcome you and offer you any assistance you need; however, we make a point of respecting our guests' privacy. We very much enjoy interacting with our guests, but allow them to determine if and when.

Please be aware that the reviews are a bit dated because the property was managed for a couple of years by a professional management company. We have decided to manage it again ourselves in order to limit fees for our guests.
