FEATURES

Dushi is a fantastic 1 bedroom vacation rental with direct access to the lagoon and an amazing view. A small hallway leads to the open kitchen and living area. From here a sliding door gives you access to the outside terrace with dining table and chairs. From the terrace you walk onto the first sunbathing deck with lounge chairs. There is an awning for extra sunshade. A few steps further you find the 2nd private deck built over the lagoon with 2 lounge beds just for you. The deck features an outside shower and swim ladder for your convenience and is equipped with deck lights, so you can see the marine live at night as well. Dushi has a master bedroom with a good quality king size bed, bed tables and built in closet. The newly renovated bathroom has a walk-in shower and a sink. The washroom is a separate space in the hallway. The living room has a nice lounge area with couch, table and reading light. There is a small desk with chair and reading light as a workspace. Dushi is a non-smoking property, both indoors and outdoors.

AMENITIES

Dushi offers free Wi-Fi, air conditioning in the bedroom and living room, standing fan, ceiling fan and a flat screen TV with IPTV. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking top, refrigerator, dish washing machine, oven, micro wave, Nespresso coffee machine (small regular pods) and toaster. There is a safe, washer and iron with iron board. Cleaning with linen change is included and scheduled halfway your stay when staying 9 nights or longer. Linens are provided including beach towels. The bed is made with a duvet with fresh cover. Curacao Ocean Resort features a large swimming pool and private beach with loungers and palapas (palm leave umbrellas) which you can use free of charge. The lagoon is crystal clear and perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The house reef is in swimming distance from the beach and filled with exotic fishes and corals.

LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS

Dushi is situated within the gated ***** Curacao Ocean Resort and ideally located within walking distance to Mambo Beach. You find lots of entertainment and night life here, like international restaurants, tropical beach bars, a dive shop, a gym and spa, small shops, a casino and the Mambo Beach Boulevard. The Seaquarium and Dolphin Academy are located opposite of the resort where you often see the dolphins jump. Historic Willemstad is only 10 car minutes away. There is a private parking spot reserved for your rental car.

Perfect island location

Best accommodations we've had anywhere in the Caribbean- very clean, stylish, and modernized. The location was great- a short walk to bars, restaurants, public beaches, and to the aquarium which was great to visit. Easy, secure parking. Private beach, private pool, private snorkeling option for those "just feeling lazy" days. Being able to go swimming 10 feet from your breakfast table was a daily treat. Only complaint was it is a bit hot in the main living room- a second AC split like the bedroom has is needed for those sticky days.

Great little getaway.

Jo our orooerty manager took good care of us. This property was very convienient to dive shop, restuarants ,etc. We enjoyed watching Dolpins from aquirium across lagoon. It was nice to be on our own private dock to lounge around. Or enjoy the lagoon. We went on some dives from there. We enjoyed property very much. We will stay longer next time. Awesome simple Awesome

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed are stay at Ocean Resort Dushi From the start of the rental process Jo was very quick to reply and answer any questions. The location was perfect, the privacy and views were amazing, enough cant be said about the outside porch and deck space and access to the water. Very easy to walk to restaurants at Mambo beach and many to choose from. The condo was very clean and the breeze was awesome the only time we used the AC was at night and the we only used the bedroom unit. Looking forward to coming back.

Can't get closer to the water

We have stayed in this place before, and we had to come back. It is a quiet & comfortable property close to Willemstad. There are many things nice about this property, but a very unique thing is that protected cove is right behind your unit. You don't have to drive or walk. You just put on swimwear and jump right into the ocean from the deck. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay again and are sure to come back in our next visit to Curacao.

Beautiful place, wonderful stay, would stay there again

The location is amazing. Beautiful view, private beach, swim off the deck, watch the dolphins jump in the aquarium across the water. We loved everything about it. We did have a minor mis-communication that was our fault. All places we've stayed before were self check-in and I didn't realize that 4pm checkin was to meet someone and unfortunately made them wait. There's a short walk from the location to Mambo beach with shops and restaurants. We did end up being sick and had to stay in the room but what a place to stay. Highly recommended.

Ideal location

This property is picture perfect! The color of the water outside is AMAZING! We snorkeled from the dock almost every day. There is a coral reef by the beach that we swam to and you can even see the dolphins at the aquarium next door through the fence. The reef by the beach has lots of fish and coral formation to make for a good snorkel experience. The location can't be beat. So many restaurants within walking distance. Boca's was our favorite. Mambo beach just a few minute walk away has anything you need except a grocery store. They have shops, bars, etc. We rented a car and drove all over the island and felt this was by far the best location for staying. Jo was very helpful and easy to communicate with. The unit has a very good breeze so we only used the air conditioning in the bedroom. We highly recommend this unit while visiting Curacao!

Wonderful location!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. We booked this room mostly because of the dock with the lagoon but realized when we arrived how close it was to the resorts on mambo beach. This gave us peace and quiet with a lovely view but easy accessibility to several restaurants and activities when we wanted it. The room itself was updated tastefully and was comfortable. We went to a nearby grocery store to stock the fridge. We kept the doors open to keep the airflow through the apartment as it can be quite warm if you're not used to the warmer temperatures. The resort was very safe, very clean and quiet. We would absolutely recommend staying here if you like the quiet but want to be close by the action. The property manager Josie is a gem and was very helpful and the free wifi was appreciated. We do recommend having a car on the island to see all of Curacao's beautiful sights but it's not necessary. If you want to stay near the resorts you can easily walk there (100 yards away) and they have a shuttle that will bring you downtown.

Location, Location, Location

Just completed a 10-day stay at this property. The location of this rental on the lagoon cannot be beat. Crystal clear water at your immediate disposal for swimming, floating and excellent snorkeling. Rental is directly across from the Sea Aquarium so we watched the dolphins jump off and on all day. Also visited the Sea Aquarium and highly recommend. The rental itself is sparse with regard to kitchen implements which worked fine for us...we only made breakfast there. Air conditioning is only in the bedroom and it is recommended it only be used for sleeping or you may have to pay an overage for the electricity used. We did not and only used it for sleeping and a quick 20 minutes to get ready to go out to dinner. Some days there were some very nice breezes to help with the heat in the main area of the house but some days there were not and we wished we had AC in the main part of the house as well. There is a fan and we used it frequently. Wonderful shower but the bathroom is extremely hot and humid...just an FYI...there is no airflow at all but there is an exhaust fan. Getting ready to go to dinner was done in the bedroom, quickly, with the AC on. Jo, the property manager was great to work with and welcomed us personally and was always available to answer questions, etc. All-in-all a great vacation on the water!

Zeer goede communicatie met beheerder Jo. Van te voren goede communicatie. Prettige ontvangst. Relaxte sfeer. Mooi appartement met perfect balkon / dek met trap naar water. Zeker als je duikt of snorkelt, om de hoek ligt prachtig huisrif. Mambo beach om de hoek, zonder last van drukte. Kortom, echte aanrader.

Great Location

First time Curacao visitors and this location was perfect. Close to shops, restaurants, aquarium and scuba dive center. This property has private lagoon access for snorkeling or swimming anytime. In the evening, turn on the dock lights and chill out while watching the fish. What a wonderful experience. We would definitely book this property again.

Perfect location....beautiful turquoise lagoon.....fabulous Dolphins as neighbours !

This was our first visit to Curacao having toured most of the other Islands over 30years or more.Each Island is very different and has it`s own unique character,Curacao has the familiar beautiful white sand/coral beaches flanked by turquoise blue sea. However it seems to have escaped over commercialism and offers a safe and lovely environment worth exploring. The apartment itself was very clean well equipped and in a gated complex very close to the Sea Aquarium and Mambo Beach. The Dolphins were amazing and I completed a level 1 Dolphins in depth training course ......never dreamed I could do such a thing! Would recommend the apartment and "Taxi Mike" for a really comfortable ride to and from the Airport!

Perfect Location, cozy and clean

The Dushi apartment was clean and cozy, it was also very basic not too many little extras, like for instance some placemats, little thing, but when eating outdoors it would be nice to have some placemats. It was clean and if there was an issue it was looked after right away. The location is perfect, close to the sea aquarium and the lagoon for swimming right there. It would be nice however if you could get into the water a little easier, but apparently they are working on that. The only point of concern I have is that the lighting on the walkway is very sparse and when coming home after dark, it is not the greatest, but again, that would be easily remedied. The shuttle to the grocery store is great, enjoy your holiday without renting a car. We enjoyed our stay there, very much and if and when returning to Curacao, would stay there again.
