Hacienda del Mar #2 is a comfy townhouse located just a short walking distance to the beach. This is the perfect vacation home for your entire family to enjoy! It is half block from Blackbeards restaurant, two blocks from the post office and three blocks from the movie theater and a new public boat ramp within a mile from the property. The townhouse showcases hi-speed wireless internet, two (2) flat screen LED TVs (the living room TV is a 60"smart TV), leather sectional sofas/recliner, ceramic tile counter tops, washer/dryer, central air .

Spend the day relaxing at the beach, and the afternoons either at the semiprivate swimming pool or on one of the decks/balcony overlooking the street or the pool.
The Patio also features a BBQ grill and a bar counter top where to enjoy a cold refreshment by the pool.

House-trained pets allowed through a small pet fee.(2 max) usually $59 per pet. If it was not included on the original quote, it may be charged after reservation is booked.

Notes:
- Multilevel property - Garage on ground floor, Living area and 2nd floor...Master Bedroom on 3rd floor.
- Swimming pool is not heated
- Groundskeeper lives on location on a separate efficiency apt in the building
- This property is registered and holds an occupancy permit with the city of South Padre Island

Excellent stay

Great place just a walk to the beach

Nice house just a block from the beach! You can also walk the strip and get to any gift shop in under 5 minutes. The pool was clear and nice the whole time we were there! Bbq pit was huge and made it convenient for cooking for our group of 8. Very nice huge washer and dryer for keeping up with beach and pool laundry! The tub upstairs in the master was huge the kids bathed in it every night. Sofa has a pull out bed for extra sleeping space! When we first walked in it was warm we turned down the ac and turned on the wall ac (super quiet) in the master and it cooled off within the hour and the place stayed cold. Overall we enjoyed our stay its a great location and has everything you need for spending time at the beach and hanging by the pool!

Great location

First, if you cannot navigate stairs easily, this probably isn’t the place for you. Secondly, if you plan on having privacy as adults in the master bedroom, reconsider. There are windows with shutters in the master bedroom that are directly over the living room. That being said, the place was great. 4-5 minute walk to the beach with plenty to do around the immediate area. The washer and dryer were so nice to have. The garage was clutch because the day we got there it was raining, hard. We were able to fit a F150 in the garage with room to spare (stock height, no lift). The kitchen was ample with plenty of plates, bowls and dinnerware. The dishwasher was nice to have also. The beds were comfy but we did have to close some vents in order to redirect more air into the downstairs bedroom and upstairs bathroom. Loved the balconies and the pool. FYI, to the right of unit 2 there is a beach shower to rinse off your body before going inside and a hose to rinse off anything else. I’d consider renting here again, mainly if it was just me and my wife. Hard to have couples time when you’re sure everything will be heard down stairs.

Great Stay

The location was great, very close to a beach access. The only complaint I have is the stairs. I did not realize this townhome was three levels. I wouldn't normally mind the stairs, but we have a toddler. There are two sets of stairs one from the entrance foyer to the main level and the other to the main room where we were. Also, the dishwasher is not great, jacuzzi did not work, pool needs a make over, and the dryer is loud. We didn't complain to the property manager since it was not a huge deal, this is more of an FYI. Other than that the town home is very roomy, clean, and the decks are very nice. Great location.

We love Hacienda Del Mar and South Padre Island. The property is much the same as the photo's show, It is very clean, and full of light. The master suite on the upper level is amazing. Roberto and his staff are great and available. The winter months were quiet and the weather was wonderful, with the exception a few cool days in January. That is one very nice thing about this Condo, is that if the weather isn't great there is tons of room in the house, not cramped in anyway. If there is a down side for older people, it is all the stairs but we found that after a couple of days we could dash up and down with no problem, And the food is so good in the area that those stairs are a godsend to keeping fit! We were there December 1 to February 28 th and loved every minute of it. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a laid back holiday at the beach.

the owner is super easy to reach if needed. Beach is like a block away short walk not much traffic. pool is awesome. house is very spacious. I'll be back and would highly recommend this or any of his properties that fit your situation better.

Great Condo Experience

This was my first experience renting a condo through VRBO. The property met my expectations in that I wanted a short walk to the beach, a place that would have a lot of room and not feel cramped and a responsive property owner. The property owner, Roberto, was responsive, kind and professional. I would recommend renting this property.

Spacious, clean, and homey!

We stayed for a few nights and the property wildly exceeded our expectations! The owner was not kidding when he said it was spacious. We had four adults, two children, and two dogs stay and there was enough room for the kids and dogs to enjoy themselves. There is a pool that was very nice and semi private that we enjoyed too. The tub in the master was very beautiful. We were so sad on check out day!

Lots of room to move around

This place is nice. We had six people sleep comfortably. My only concern that I would share with anyone looking at this property is the number of stairs. You will be getting your workout. The stairs from the street have anti-slip strips, the ones up the main bedroom do not so be sure your feet are dry. The property manager was attentive. Be sure to use the outside shower to knock off any sand...it gets everywhere!

Great place to stay!

Very clean and large home. It is also about a 5 min walk to the beach. The only thing we had problems with was the toilets would get clogged very easily, they don’t run very well. Also the room on the second floor gets very hot but there was a fan we were able to put in the room so not a big deal. Also something to note is there are a lot of stairs and the type of floor is where you can slip easily, elderly would have trouble here or someone with health conditions that have trouble with stairs might have trouble but overall had a great time! Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location, clean, spacious with all needed amenities!

We loved our stay. Plenty of room for our 2 adults and 3 teens. So happy with this lovely condo that allowed our small dog to vacation with us. Condo is clean, had kitchen stocked with utensils, cookware and a blender. Dishwasher, full size washer and dryer, nice sized pool and a grill! Beach was a short five minute walk and owners provide a wagon.

The condo is beautiful. Has everything you need, very spacious, pool area is a great plus and bbq pit is amazing. The owner is a great person very hospitable and makes u feel at home. Location is not far from stores/restaurants/beach. My first time being there and I must say we will be back there soon. 100% satisfsction.

It's walking distance to the beach, which my wife and I enjoy it very much. It is also very close to some good restaurants such as PadreRitaGrill and Blackbeards and to the local supermarket, the Blue Marlin.
