The place was perfect for a wine weekend with the girls! Plenty of rooms & bathrooms, and nobody had to sleep in bunk beds!

We loved our stay in Sutton's Bay. It was perfect for a family summer vacation with 5 couples. We enjoyed using the kayaks and hot tub as well as trips into town in Sutton's Bay and Traverse City for food and shopping. We did swim a little bit at the property's lakefront but the shallow water and bits of reeds made that a little challenging. The house is very close to a few different public beaches which were perfect. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful home with a perfect amount of space for 9 of us, very clean and very well-maintained. Perfect location between Traverse City and Suttons Bay, near countless wineries, cideries and restaurants. Loved having coffee in the morning on the front deck with a glimpse of the bay through the trees and birds singing, the kids (teens) enjoyed kayaking, and we all enjoyed time around the firepit in the evenings. Excellent home to reconnect with family and nature.

Needs some maintenance ceiling fan in great room did not work and a smoke detector missing

Thank you for the feedback. On the ceiling fan in the great room, there's a wall switch labeled at the switch panel which at times guests turn off . There is also the remote that controls the fan. As for the smoke detector, one unit was removed because it was chirping and couldn't be replaced before your stay, but there are 6 other smoke detectors throughout the house. Thank you for staying with us.

Our stay was great! The kitchen was well stocked with the necessities for cooking. The decks were great and the rooms were very spacious. Our kids had a great time and we were all very comfortable. The home was gorgeous but there was a lot of stairs - so not for people with limited mobility. The location was perfect for our weekend activities!

The house was absolutely beautiful and was perfect for our family! Very well equipped for both adults who love to cook, and kids who love to play games. While we could watch a beautiful sunrise from our deck and bedroom, I was disappointed we had to cross a sometimes busy highway to get to the lake. So we never took the kids there or used the kayaks and things you had. But would stay and recommend this house if you love the wineries, and appreciate luxury living! (Only thing I recommend is changing that coffee maker!) Thank you for making our family vacation so special!

That is so fantastic that our home was enjoyed so much by all of you. Isn’t the sunrise on the bay the best! Too bad you didn’t get the chance to get down to the water. The road once crossed has steps down to the water and is safe. No kids can run into the road. Thanks for the tip on the coffee maker. We go thru so many. A French press is provided and also have a second coffee maker in the pantry but will look at adding a new one. Thank you so much for being such lovely guests.

Very family friendly place. 2 bedrooms at ground floor. 1 bedroom on main floor, and 2 bedrooms on top floor. Great for 1, 5, and 7 yo. Diversity of games/toys and hiding places for the kids. High chair and pack and play were present. Kitchen well-equipped (except missing drying rack). Deck overlooked the lake which was beautiful. Beach is across a busy highway, but easy to access with kayaks available. Would stay there again for a large get together.

That is so great that the M22 house fit your young family so well. We do our best to think about all age groups when putting the house together and sounds like we made the mark. Isn’t sitting on the deck with a view of the lake so pleasant! Thank you so much for staying with us and hope you can visit again in the future. PS A drying rack was added. Great idea.

Great parents getaway

Beautiful house in wine country

This house has it all…great location, views, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, expanded deck with up to date furnishings, fire pit and hot tub. Would definitely stay there again!

A Beautifully Scenic and Quiet Retreat!

This house blew me away in all aspects! It was just beautiful and spacious, with amazing views of the lake! It was quiet and the perfect retreat for our girl’s trip! Would totally recommend this place, couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful and comfortable space.

Family holiday getaway

Our children joined us for a Christmas celebration. The property was very accommodating with bedrooms for everyone. The beds were comfy with a fabulous view of the water.

Great Up North Escape

We had a terrific time at the property. Our group enjoyed all of the surrounding activities during the day and enjoyed games, a campfire and great conversations on the deck in the evening. We would highly recommend the property and may consider it for the next time we book Up North.

Great Girls Trip Location

We had a group of 10 girls stay for a long weekend getaway. It was the perfect location nearby Mawby, Suttons Bay Ciders, and more. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen and lots of seating areas for a large group. It’s also so nice that you can walk down to the water or just enjoy the view from the house. Highly recommend this home for any ‘up north’ trips!

Family Vacation

Nice home. Close to Sutton Bay and downtown Traverse City. We had a few issues but they were right on top of it. Unfortunately, we did not look close enough, there is no yard for the kids to play in.

Great Home, Gorgeous Sunrises and Central Location

The house was excellent and had everything that one would need during a stay. The floor to ceiling windows throughout the main floor offered beautiful views of the water. Great to wake up to gorgeous sunrises each day. The location is perfect allowing one to explore all the area has to offer from a central location.

Beautiful Home, Gorgeous Sunrises and Central Location

We had a fabulous stay at this house. The home is beautiful and has all the amenities one would need for their stay. Great home for families. The floor to ceiling windows on the main floor allow for beautiful views of the water. The sunrises were gorgeous. The location is great and allows for a central location to all the wonderful activities this area has to offer.
