Cinnamon Shore South almost has it right

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the new area, but there was a cabinet front that fell off the island cabinets, there was no WiFi NYE night and the next morning. Also, we had miscommunication about the golf cart rentals. This was all a bit frustrating.

This was part of a broader service outage that impacted the area and was unfortunately outside of our control. House was beautiful, great layout Danger in the downstairs queen bedroom! The side tables/night stands are NOT bolted to the wall. The nightstand fell on a 11 month old and bruised her ankle pretty bad. The instructions and equipment to bolt the night stand was stapled to the back of the night stand, which indicates it should have been done. We just don’t want this to happen to anyone else. The grill needs to be heavily cleaned or replaced The second level king bed right hand corner doesn’t have support feels like it goes lowSome suggestions: More throw blankets then the one in the living room New kitchen scissors Baby gates would be great on the stairs Another fridge would be great

The home itself is beautiful, but unfortunately our experience fell far below what we expected from a luxury rental.We encountered roaches in multiple areas of the home, including bedrooms, bathrooms and near the kitchen/silverware. We photographed them and reported the issue during our stay. We were uncomfortable using dishes and utensils without washing everything first. Pest control was unable to come until after our departure, and the solution offered during our stay was to drop off Raid for us to use ourselves.There were also cleanliness concerns, including visible rings/staining in the downstairs toilets. The Wi-Fi was out, towels and basic supplies were insufficient, and we had to request additional toilet paper and dishwasher detergent.Several guests were kept awake by persistent scratching/movement inside the walls of the upstairs bunk room and ultimately left early. On our final night, the fire alarms throughout the home went off around midnight while everyone was sleeping.A team member delivering supplies also unlocked and entered the occupied home without first knocking or ringing the doorbell.Guest Services was responsive and apologetic, and management acknowledged our concerns. Unfortunately, many of the issues could not be resolved during our short stay.It is a beautiful property with tremendous potential, but based on our experience, the cleanliness, maintenance, pest control and stocking did not meet the standard we expected.

The location to the beach and amenities was awesome.
