Stay in a gorgeous area of Colorado Springs hugging the Rocky Mountains. This 2-bed, 1-bath duplex is tidy, bright & cheerful, and super-close to popular attractions + plenty of dining & shopping. Get ready for adventure! By car to Broadmoor resort: 5 min. North Cheyenne Cañon Park: 6 min. Bear Creek Regional Park East: 8 min. Cheyenne Mountain Zoo: 9 min. Red Rock Canyon Open Space: 10 min. Garden of the Gods: 15 min. Downtown: 8 min. Historic Old Colorado City: 9 min. Pikes Peak: 20 min.

The Space:
This delightful duplex is tidy, bright and cheerful, decorated in soothing blue and white throughout. It’s located in a lovely residential neighborhood dotted with shady trees at the foot of the Rockies.

As you open the front door of this split-level home, you’ll immediately encounter the stairs carrying you upstairs or down. Climbing to the upper level, you’ll find a cozy, well-lit living room. Please note the indoor wood burning fireplace is decoration ONLY. A comfortable three-seater sofa with a built-in chaise invites you to relax and watch TV. Off to the side, a dedicated workspace provides a desk, chair and desk lamp for those working during their stay.

From the living room, you have a direct view into the dining portion of the eat-in kitchen, with an oblong dining table and comfortable seating for 4 next to a sliding glass door that lets in refreshing daylight.

The sliding door leads to a balcony with seating for two in the shade of a mature tree, with a view of the Rockies just beyond.

The kitchen is spacious with plenty of cabinets and counter space, and you’ll have everything you need to prepare homey meals and pack picnic lunches. The appliances are all full-size, including a refrigerator, cooking range with oven, and a dishwasher. Also for your convenience, you’ll find a microwave, double-sided sink, coffee maker, tea kettle, cooking utensils, and a fully-stocked spice rack. If cooking’s your thing, feel free to indulge!

On the lower level, you’ll be pleased to find a stacked washer and dryer in the hallway, so you can pack light.

Two bedrooms on this level are decorated with tasteful, soothing simplicity for a restful night’s sleep. One will provide a queen-size bed and the other with a king-size but both have large closets. The king bedroom has the added bonus of its own TV – a place to break away quietly and watch what you want.

An attractive hall bath includes a tub/shower combo, wall-mounted hair dryer, extra-large sink vanity with plenty of counter space for your toiletries, and a wall cabinet for storage.
Off-street parking is provided in a lot behind the building.

Hotel-grade linens are professionally laundered after every visit. This home is managed by a local vacation rental specialist, and there’s a sense of quality and care that’s worthy of your 5-star review.

Guest Access:
We will send you detailed instructions no less than 48 hours prior to your arrival after you complete our verification portal. You will have privacy and access to the entire house using your special code given upon booking. Front door has a digital smart lock.

The Neighborhood:
You couldn’t ask for a better location! This home is situated in one of Colorado Springs’ most beautiful and desirable areas, about 8 minutes south of Downtown. The breathtaking, historic Broadmoor resort (5 minutes away) sets a tone of elegance in this end of town, while the Rocky Mountains just over your shoulder have long been responsible for the ever-present sense of majesty.

This neighborhood gives you the best of everything. If it’s modern convenience you’re looking for, it’s all around you. There’s no shortage of restaurants nearby, representing every type of cuisine from German to Indian. Shopping is plentiful, from supermarkets to department stores.

For nearby indoor entertainment, you can drop into the local Cinemark movie multiplex (8 minutes by car), or see something extraordinary at the Broadmoor World Arena, an 8,000 seat multi-purpose arena that hosts national and international skating competitions, concerts, comedy shows, family events like Disney On Ice and Cirque du Soleil (8 minutes). The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is well worth a visit with a wide variety of animals in a unique mountain setting (9 minutes).

If you’ve come to Colorado Springs to play in the great outdoors, you’re well-positioned to get the most out of the region’s fresh-air attractions and activities. In the Rockies, opportunities abound for hiking, biking, rafting, fishing, hunting, ziplining, skiing, snowshoeing, and so much more. You’ll find plenty of unforgettable views and natural wonders, like the 300-foot-tall sandstone rock formations at the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center (15 minutes).

Other nearby outdoor hot spots include North Cheyenne Cañon Park (6 minutes), Bear Creek Regional Park East (8 minutes), Red Rock Canyon Open Space (10 minutes), and Pikes Peak (otherwise known as “America’s Mountain”) climbing 14,000 feet into the clouds (20 minutes).

History hounds will enjoy the museums of Downtown Colorado Springs and Old Colorado City, each less than 10 minutes away. While you’re there, experience award-winning dining, unique shopping, art galleries, theatrical productions, lounges, breweries, and more.

Getting Around:
We recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region. We're happy to provide bus schedules and maps too if you'd like to use public transportation.

Other Things to Note:
AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted by us before check-in.
-We do not have onsite maintenance or cleaning unlike hotels but all requests will be taken care of ASAP.
-Although the home doesn't have central AC our evenings are generally cool in the summer time, simply opening the windows will provide natural coolness.
-Living room fireplace is ornamental only so there are no fires allowed.
-Please review the sleeping arrangements prior to booking.
-Please keep all trash secure in the bins. Do not leave any trash out overnight for your safety and the surrounding active wildlife in the city's area.
-The TV's offer streaming services only for guest's to use their subscriptions. Just don't forget to log out!

Last, it’s your vacation, so you probably don’t want a lot of RULES. So think of these more as our strong requests:

- NO SMOKING inside. This includes Colorado’s newest cash crop.
- We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc.
- Quiet Hours begin at 10:00pm per city ordinance. Please be courteous of the neighbors during your stay.
- Late check-outs (12pm) are available if there is no back-to-back booking, at $25 per hour.
- We cannot guarantee an early check-in, as we need time to make sure this property is perfect for you before your stay! Please check with us on the day of your arrival to see if the property will be ready early.

Please be advised that we ask all guests to complete our secure, online guest verification portal after your reservation is created. Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, matching selfie and credit card to verify identity.
