In the warm summer months, enjoy outdoor activities and games at the chalet. For fun on the lake, try one of the paddle boards, kayak or pedal boat. If you enjoy fishing, only electric motor boats are allowed, so it's peaceful and quiet.
Golf enthusiasts will be happy to find a great selection of 25 courses within a 30 km. radius!
Numerous cycling routes offer a wonderful way to enjoy the picturesque scenery or try a beautiful hike on the Bruce Trail.
There are several waterfalls and a lama farm to explore nearby!

A BBQ and picnic table in the back offers you the enjoyment of outdoor meals.
Large side and backyards offer plenty of room for outdoor games like badminton, cornhole or ball games.
Follow the forest path to the large backyard that's great for all kinds of games and a bit further is the fire pit at the back of the yard. It's perfect for toasting your s'mores and campfire stories!

If you're seeking the fall colours or a revitilizing spring escape, our chalet welcomes you year-round.

Fall is a great time to explore local waterfalls, charming antique shops, farmer's markets, and tour interesting local art galleries. Try out the local trails or the Bruce Trail for invigorating hikes through the beautiful landscapes.

Winter brings a wonderland of activities! Ski at numerous hills close by, or perhaps you're interested in cross-country skiing, tobogganing, or snowshoeing. The lake also offers ice fishing and skating. Snowmobile trails are nearby as well. Sometimes, you may want to just enjoy the lake view, sitting by the cosy fireplace!

You'll find a Welcome Guide on the dining room table upon your arrival to give you all the chalet details.
There are numerous pamphlets to plan your outside activities and dining options.

In the Great Room, you'll find a vaulted pine plank ceiling and a warm and inviting fireplace. It is outfitted with very comfortable new couches and the sliding doors let you onto the spacious deck to enjoy the lake view. A 65" smart TV, high speed internet, or games, books or puzzles are provided for your entertainment.

The bright and charming gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with all the dishes, utensils and appliances you'll need to prepare your favourite meals. Live edge wood countertops add an organic touch, while the coffee bar offers an extra sink and Keurig coffee machine. An expresso/latte machine is also availble to prepare your favourite brew or try an assortment of teas that are offered as well.

The main level bedroom offers a queen bed, and another bedroom has 2 twin beds. Both have vaulted pine ceilings and are conveniently situated adjacent to the full bathroom.
The luxurious king bed is located in the large loft bedroom, along with a three-piece ensuite bathroom and generous closet. All the bedrooms have new premium mattresses, cotton sheets, duvets, blankets and pillows for a restful sleep. Blackout curtains offer you the luxury of sleeping in at your leisure.

Entry is to a cedar panelled mudroom at the side entrance with lots of storage room for all your gear. There is also a large front hall closet for additional storage.

The small communities of Markdale and Flesherton are only 10 minutes away and offer a good array of shops, art galleries and dining options. There is a large Foodland store in Markdale for groceries, premade meals or catering with delivery. Several other establishments offer wonderful take-out meals options. There are excellent restaurants available only minutes away!

For additional day trips, Collingwood and Owen Sound are both within a 45 minute drive.

A new EV charging station is now in Flesherton (10 minutes away)

Conveniently located, less than 2 hours from both western GTA and southwestern Ontario, the chalet is an ideal setting for a couples retreat and family getaways.
