Despite Ebyan's vexatious & false allegations, just weeks before the end of her stay, she asked to extend for a few more months! I said NO. Why would she want to stay if things were as bad as she says?! 1.A house rule was that all lights were to be turned off when not there. Ebyan was not asked to contribute to utilities, so this request was not unreasonable. She would routinely leave ALL lights on even when not there for days at a time. Ebyan admitted, in writing, to leaving the lights on when I raised the issue with her. There was NEVER surveillance of the unit; not only is that wrong, it is also illegal! She would leave curtains open while away, so it was easy to see that the lights were left on. 2.Ebyan & my property manager did not get along. I've had many guests stay in my unit and none have ever had a problem with my kind & thoughtful property manager. In any event, it as my property manager that advised me that she would no longer communicate with Ebyan due to her rudeness, not the other way around. Subsequently, all communication occurred between myself and Ebyan. 3.Per the booking, the unit was rented to a single person; however, on many occasions, there were multiple persons in the unit for extended periods. As well, the house rule regarding quiet hours was routinely ignored, to the point where she had to be asked, repeatedly, to keep the stomping & loud noises down in the wee hours of the morning. Ebyan had little regard for basic courtesies. 4.Worse Guest Ever!
