Quiet lake retreat, ready for your enjoyment! This cottage is perfectly placed right across the street from Lake Taneycomo. Enjoy the feel of a lakefront cottage with updated amenities!

The Space:
There is no better place to be. Plan a perfect getaway at Rockaway Beach. Enjoy all the area has to offer or head into Branson (11 Miles away) for all the fun filled activities of Branson!

You will have an adorable cottage to spend your downtime in after all the activities of the day. This home features a nicely equipped kitchen, and plenty of room for the group to hang out. Step out outside and take in the sounds of the lake and the amazing views from our outdoor seating area.

Sleeping Arrangements:
Bedroom 1: King size bed
Bedroom 2: Queen size bed
Bedroom 3: Two (2) Twin over twin bunk beds
Washer & Dryer now available.

Other Things to Note:
*Propane grill - Communal use
*The pool at this location is maintained by the by a third-party team, please be advised that their team can close the area for routine maintenance at any time without notice. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the pool to be open at all times during in season hours, but we assure you that their team works quickly to have the areas opened back up as soon as possible. We do not issue refunds for amenity closures. Thanks for your understanding.

The lake view was beautiful. We did have a couple of issues with the cottage that were quickly resolved. My stay was actually November 7th to the 10th. The cottage had plenty of room for 4 of us. Also had plenty of supplies dishes stuff to cook with and clean up after ourselves. Would definitely consider staying again.

Loved the quaintness of this fishing cottage itā€™s rustic yet modern. It has everything you. Red and then some. Great location for fishing. Far enough away from Branson to avoid the crowds yet close enough to enjoy. We loved it and will be back. We had three kids and three adults with plenty of room.

A cute little place overlooking the river.

This is a cute little place overlooking the river, a great place to getaway to be with family. I enjoyed the little sitting area outside to relax. There are plenty of windows to allow the natural light in. Very quiet neighborhood, and the pool is right out front if you want to go for a swim. Checking in was simple as I had my door code before getting on the road that day. I highly recommend it!!

Adorable and comfortable house

This was not a really large house, but it did have one large master with a king size bed and bath; as well as a bunk room with two sets of bunkbeds in a really sunny room. The house was bright, well laid out and well appointed. We had everything we needed. The dining room table in the sunroom was a great place to play games and have our meals and the large table in the living room was also another great place to play games. It was such a relaxing house. I would definitely choose to stay here again.The swimming pool was right outside our house and we can see the lake right across the street. It was really fun watching the fog come in every night and roll out every morning. Thereā€™s a lovely coffee shop two blocks up the street and a great pizza place right down the road. Itā€™s out of the way and not really busy which is what we were looking for. Thanks so much for a wonderful week.

Girls trip

Very nice once we found the house. Trying to find it after dark was not easy. We had to call the number listed and he helped us. He was extremely kind and helpful. It looked very clean, except there were cobwebs in most every corner of the rooms and one of the towels i unfolded to use was full of long hair - lots of them. Otherwise everything else was good.

ROCKAWAY cottage 13

The listing was accurate on pictures. It was a cute little house for our weekend stay for a wedding. You can tell renovations had been done not too long ago. Water was hot. We didnā€™t cook at the property but it had lots of kitchen items if needed. The only thing we didnā€™t like were that the floors were not all one level. But didnā€™t really have ā€œstepsā€. My in laws donā€™t have the best gait so I wish there was more warning or notice on the small stepping down/up into bedrooms. Other than that; We all really enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable, house kept heat very well.

Senior visitors

The house was as pictured, the grounds were the main problem. For four 70+ year old, the concrete was cracked and on a hill, we were glad we made it thru without a fall! Also cabins very close. The view was nice. The area is being renovated and that was nice to see!

The house itself was in great shape. Very very clean. It looked to be just remodeled. Even the floor was clean, we could walk everywhere within the house without getting even the faintest of dirt or dusk on our white socks. I would stay here again. The pier right across the street was perfect for fishing especially for bass. We enjoyed the pizza place (twice) that we walked to for dinner. The only problem was outside, just a few feet in front of the house. There was pool with a cover partially on it. Parts of the cover were held up by big bricks and parts of the cover were in the pool that had some water still in it. It was a safety hazard and eyesore. Not sure if the pool was the responsibility of the house owners though as the pool was part of the complex.

The cutest lake cottage

Itā€™s a good 20 minutes to everything but the location is on a beautiful lake with fishing. Itā€™s kind of difficult to find the first time but once you find it itā€™s darling. There is so much personality in this little 1930ā€™s cabin.

Wedding party

We stayed here for my daughter's wedding as her venue was 8 minutes away. My husband and father enjoyed fishing. Its a cute little place in a nice little village. Recommend! :)

Nice, quiet home

Stayed with my family July 2024. Quiet house/area, pool was available, A/C worked well, house was in good shape and clean and tidy. Comfortable beds and clean linens. Bunk beds are great for multiple kids. Rockaway Beach seems to be in a revival period with many old homes being worked on and improved. The pizza place up the street was good, as was Oaxaca Mexican 10 mins away. Dollar General is right up the road for any last-minute things and has a decent basic food selection. Fishing pier is right across the road and is public access and not too busy. We figured when it comes to Branson, youā€™re always gonna be driving 20 minutes to anywhere so we wanted to have a quiet, calm home base for activities and this was exactly that.

Very clean, well stocked

The property was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. The pool was clean and the kids loved it. Being across the street from fishing was a plus for my grandkids.
