You’re not just near the beach, you’re right on top of it in this 7th floor, 1,100 square foot beachfront condo. Located in a premier gated community, it sleeps four, with one queen bed, two twin beds and two bathrooms.

It’s a front unit, with a balcony that bends around the corner of the building, giving you a panoramic view of the crescent beach. The only way to describe the vista of turquoise ocean is to use that old cliché: Words simply can’t do it justice. Sun sparkles off the water beneath a bright blue sky. Mangroves encircle lagoons between the ocean and a long strip of silken white sand. A wooden walkway crosses the beach grass leading from the grounds of the South Seas to this exquisite beach. But even the photos don’t do the balcony justice. They can’t show you how warm ocean trade winds massage you as you sip your morning coffee or how you’re mesmerized by the sound of waves softly breaking on the shore.

When you come in from the balcony, so does the view, with sliding glass doors and floor-to-ceiling windows. Every room opens up to the balcony. Sunlight brightens the coral-hued tile floor and ocean blue walls. Sand dollars, starfish and sculptures of dolphins and sea turtles hang on the walls. Soft beige sofas and chairs enhance the Island-style comfort.

The kitchen comes with all the modern appliances and cookware you need to serve dinner beneath the stars or blend a batch of tropical drinks to sip on the balcony as you enjoy the sunset that, once again, words and, even pictures, can’t possibly do justice.

The unit offers comfort-enhancing amenities like air conditioning and heating, ceiling fans, free wi-fi, cable, linens and towels. You also have beach essentials like beach towels, beach chairs, cooler and umbrella.

The South Seas is filled with amenities, starting with a heated pool encircled by palm trees. Enjoy lunch on a picnic table shaded by a tiki hut. Or stroll through the hibiscus-scented pathways to the newly re-surfaced tennis courts, shuffleboard, bocce ball, fitness center, charcoal grills or the social room.

For dinner, take a short walk to one of the Island’s favorite restaurants, like NeNe’s, Doreen’s Cup of Joe, Joey’s Pizza, or Thai Sushi by KJ.
