This charming garden level apartment faces out onto Crawford Square, which has a lovely gazebo. This home is within easy walking distance to all that Savannah has to offer, but off the beaten path for a quiet and relaxing stay. Travelerā€™s Escape offers all the comforts of home in the Hostess City of the South.

A tasteful replica of a federal style home, youā€™ll find artwork throughout the home by well-known contemporary Savannah artists amidst a mix of tradition and modern furnishings. The living room has a Queen sleeper-sofa and plenty of comfortable seating. There is also a working gas fireplace, flat screen TV with Blu-ray player, and a breakfast table with seating. The recently remodeled galley kitchen has everything you need to enjoy a meal at home, or just a cup of coffee. At the end of the day, youā€™ll curl up in the king-sized bed with pillow-top mattress and drift off to sleep to prepare for your next adventure.

Enjoy the lovely courtyard to unwind at the end of a long day. Please keep in mind that this is a smoke-free property and smoking is not permitted in the apartment or the courtyard.

What is parking like for this home?
Parking for this home is on-street and metered, with enforcement by the City of Savannah Monday through Saturday, 8am to 8pm. Guests may conveniently pay using the ParkSavannah app, feed the meter or parking kiosks directly, or utilize a nearby public parking garage. Pre-paid visitor parking passes are available for purchase at the Parking and Mobility Services office. Please take note of posted Sweep Zone signs when parking on the street.

Perfect Location and Quiet!

Everything was so organized and detailed leading up to our stay. When we arrived, it was better than we expected. So clean. Very welcoming. So close to everything that we barely touched our cars, only moving them to avoid street cleaning. Great place. Would easily recommend.

Excellent Stay

We had a great time while staying here. The location was great and within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. At night it was quiet and the patio was a great place to unwind. Any communications/questions with the host/management were very quick and timely. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and a pleasant stay

This was a great stay for five days in Savannah in the North historic district. The location was quiet and within walking distance to everything. We got our steps in everyday! The bed was super comfortable and it was great to be able to do a load of laundry. The kitchen was well stocked if you wanted to cook (I did not!) and the fridge with ice maker was a life saver to keep our drinks cold. There is a Keurig machine and a regular coffee maker. The bath towels provided (4) were ample for two guests, but I would have appreciated another hand towel and two more washcloths for the bathroom. The outdoor space was perfect for morning coffee. It was a cozy stay for two. Parking on street was no problem right around the property and surprisingly not expensive (1 an hour, 12 hours max) and the parking app made it super easy. We would highly recommend this property! It was much more relaxing than being in a hotel, and a bit cheaper as well.

First time in welcoming savannah

Overall the location was excellent and the apartment was as described. It was clean and roomy, the bedding was very comfortable and the outdoor space was great for morning coffee. We had a problem with our code but the company was immediately available to reset it so we could get in quickly. Parking next to our place was $1/hr and easy to add time as needed. After 8pm there was no charge. We really enjoyed our stay

I appreciate they provided some coffee, but no sugar or creamer to go with it. I am glad the weather was cooler when we were there as the air conditioning seamed to struggle. Maybe this is just the age of the home, but it was very humid and damp with a musty smell. We had to put our towels in the dryer after each use because they would not dry within a 24 hr period. Overall it was a good experience.

beautiful property in great location. Property manager promptly responsive. However. The pull out sleeper bed is a joke. Very dirty and broken down. My friend, all of 110 lbs had to go to a chiropractor after sleeping on it 3 nights.
