Live your Best Life at the Lake

Our air conditioned, 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage with a large dock gives you lots of room for family and friends to entertain day and night. Enjoy coffee on the dock while you watch the sunrise and drinks in the hot tub as the sun sets. Under 2 hours from Toronto, on Lower Buckhorn Lake, this cottage is the vacation destination for a large family or 2 families, sleeping 8. The cottage offers northwest lake views, with walkouts onto 2 large decks, upper and lower. Along the shoreline you will find a hammock, chimeneara, and a walk-in swimming area of clear water. There are 3 kayaks available for use with a variety of sizes of life jackets to explore the water. Also in the water shed are noodles and floaties for your use.
The space
Inside you will enjoy the air conditioned, open concept living room and kitchen. The cottage has 3 queen bedrooms, 2 upstairs and 1 on lower level and a bunk bed room with 1 bunk bed and a twin bed (sleep 3). Pillows and duvets are provided. Please bring your own bed linens, towels, t-towels and beach towels. The upper and lower living rooms give you lots of options to relax and take in the beautiful views.
The cottage features a modern kitchen with all the amenities of home. It’s been fully renovated with microwave, gas range and dishwasher. A large fridge keeps everything handy. Tap water is pulled from the lake and is safe for cooking and bathing, but we over compensate with bottled water for drinking and we’ll supply 5 bottles per week. The 4 piece bathrooms, one on each level, are clean and modern, but when you want a shower use the outdoor shower…privacy with great views of the lake.
In the evenings stay cozy with the wood burning stove, (wood is supplied) and snuggle up watching Netflix on the Smart TV’s (one on each level) or play games at the additional table on the lower level from the games cupboard. WiFi is included. The outdoor option is to star gaze while in the hot tub or roast marshmallows around the chimeneara.
