We're so happy you enjoyed the peaceful setting, beautiful sunsets, and had a wonderful romantic getaway. We're sorry to hear about the communication issue, as we always aim to be responsive to our guests, and we're looking into what happened so this doesn't occur again. We do provide measuring cups and basic kitchen supplies, but we'll review the inventory and add or replace anything that's missing. We also appreciate the feedback on the layout and will make sure the listing description more clearly notes that reaching the bedroom from the kitchen requires stepping outside. We take guest feedback seriously, and after discussing your concerns with the homeowner, they wanted to share the following:- We were both surprised and disappointed to hear your feedback as we were in constant communication with you during your stay.- The listing photos are intended to accurately reflect the property, but we’re sorry if the home didn’t match your expectations. We have made recent updates, including new carpet, chairs, and kitchen appliances.- We were unaware of any concerns with the A/C or plumbing during your stay and wish you had brought it to our attention during one of our many conversations. The A/C is relatively new, and we haven’t received complaints about noise before or since your stay. We’ll be sure to have it inspected to ensure it’s functioning properly. - The plumbing was checked after your departure, and no issues were found, but we’ll continue to monitor this to prevent future problems.- We were perplexed by your comment about several lights not working during your stay. When you reached out you had stated it was only the porch light that was not working. We promptly responded and offered to send the maintenance team to address the issue. To which you politely declined as you did not wish to have any interruptions to your stay. - While the property is sprayed regularly for pests, we will have an additional treatment done to address any ant issues. We encourage guests to reach out during their stay so we can promptly address any issues or concerns.- It is important to note, that we provide a starter supply of paper products, including toilet paper. However, when you reached out to request additional toilet paper, we promptly responded and sent the cleaner with extra toilet paper and a bottle of wine as a gesture of goodwill.
