As you pull up to the Cloverdale Cottage you'll immediately settle into vacation mode. Enter this charming, sun-filled bungalow and start planning how you'll relax and play in this open-concept space with ample room for friends and family. Cook your meals in this updated kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, appliances and a gas grill available for your use during your stay. Carry in from some of the fabulous area restaurants and either dine in the spacious dining area, or al-fresco on the deck overlooking the pool. Retire to one of three bedrooms (king, queen or twin bunks), all with personal television and internet. The outdoor space is great for swimming the warmer days away in the 21' above ground pool (open seasonally Memorial to Labor Day - longer weather permitting), or playing games in the fully fenced yard with your dog as the Cloverdale Cottage is dog-friendly. Rinse off in the enclosed outdoor shower and walk down to the bay beach (bring the pooch!) for a sunset cocktail to end your relaxing days. Just steps to the bay beach and 8 miles from downtown Cape May and Cape May Beach, this private home is perfect for a refreshing getaway where you stay in or explore the areas many restaurants, activities and shops. Welcome to your home away from home!

Our couple days offseason stay were great, we had oyr 2 dogs with us and it was very accomdating. It was clean, decorated properly for the coastal area which was cute.The only thing i felt was needed woul be a handrail to get into the house.

Lovely retreat for a few days. House was neat as a pin. There was a hiccup with a baseboard heating unit not turning off. Handyman showed up quickly and sorted it. Dog loved the place. Short walk to a romp in the bay. Tidy neighborhood. Jersey friendly town

Cloverdale Cottage was clean, fresh and so relaxing - it was everything we needed. We enjoyed the heated pool, back deck, comfy bed, morning and evening walks with our pup to the bay beach, beautiful sunsets, great seafood, and friendly neighbors and locals. Relaxing stay

We had a wonderful time and would love to return! The house is in a quiet neighborhood but yet close enough to everything. Also, a great dog-friendly location.

Cozy, quiet neighborhood!

We had a great stay at Coverdale Cottage. It was a short walk to the bay, and I enjoyed walking around the neighborhood each morning. The house was nice and the kids (and adults) LOVED the pool! Woild definitely stay again.

Home away from Home

We had a wonderful week stay this year. Due to some issues last year I was not able to go the whole week so we took advantage of everything. Especially the pool since it was so hot. Everything was perfect and clean when we got there and we felt right at home. Hoping to stay there again next year. Lisa

Fourth of July week

Communication prior to arrival with our host was amazing, they were very responsive and assured that we had all the information we needed to check in. The check-in process was easy. The key was accessible, and we found all of the house rules and check out items in a binder in the house. Our stay was amazing, easy walking to the beach and the pool in the yard was key. My favorite part of the vacation was the outdoor shower, I may never shower inside again.

Beautiful home

From the moment we stepped foot there we felt so at home. Everything in the home was so accommodating, the cleanliness was great.. the area was great! We enjoyed and loved every minute of being there, the back deck was lovely! And the pool was awesome!

Second Stay

We had short stay with our dogs for President’s Day Weekend. Love the beach this time of year and Cloverdale Cottage has everything needed, especially a fenced yard for the dogs. Kate was very accommodating. Great stay once again.

Quiet and Relaxing

This is exactly what we needed! The neighborhood was quiet, neighbors were friendly, and it was a nice, short walk to the beach. The home itself was clean, comfortable, well equipped, and felt like home. Thank you for having us!

Great vacation

House was clean and the kids loved the pool. 10 minutes from cape may. Plenty of places to eat around the house. Definitely would stay again. We had one issue with the internet but the host took care of it promptly. Cant wait to come back!

Relaxing Family Getaway

A fantastic place to relax and enjoy the simplicity of life. My family and I spent nearly everyday hanging in the pool, grilling great food and taking evening walks on the beach a block and a half away. There are breweries, seafood and ice cream places just a short ride from your door as well. Plenty to do and the fact that the property and beach is dog friendly really sealed the deal for us. Overall, it was a vacation to remember.

Perfect Break

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Cloverdale cottage vacation, complete with private pool and fenced yard for our pup. Cottage is clean, comfortable and convenient to all and the neighbors are friendly and the neighborhood is quiet. Managers are wonderfully responsive. Perfect respite

My husband I stayed at Kates property with our 2 dogs. We had previously rented this property years ago from a different owner when are kids were young. It was wonderful to revisit this cotrage and we loved the addition of the pool! Neighborhood is quiet, bay is right down the road. Fish and fancy restaurant is perfect but order early! Close to Cape May

Wonderful end to the Summer

Cloverdale Cottage had everything we needed for a short, late summer stay. My Mom who is in her 80’s enjoyed the deck while our two dogs were free to roam in the yard as I took a dip in the pool. We liked the open concept of this home and the fact that the bedrooms were comfortable and each had their own TV. The kitchen was well appointed although we enjoyed most of our meals out locally. It helped that the weather was perfect and we had the beach to ourselves. Would love to go back!

A wonderful shore home

Our stay was enjoyable. The home is warm and welcoming, and Kate was available for any questions we had, both pre-visit and during our visit. We made great use of the backyard pool area. My granddaughter loved her "night time" swims. My husband and I enjoyed watching her excitement. The home is a short walk to the bay with easy accessibility. The sunsets were beautiful! We intend to come back again in the future. Thank you, Kate!

Great Family Getaway

This house had a great open layout, well stocked and an awesome pool for the kids. Located in a very quiet street and walking distance to the beach. We enjoyed walking our dog to the beach early mornings and late evenings. The house is well fenced and nice size yard for our dog to walk/run around. Beds were comfy and having a tv in each room was great. We used a grill which cooked our meals fast and having a washer and dryer was a plus. Kate was great and responded quickly to any questions we had. Will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our week at Cloverdale Cottage and would stay again. The photos are a great representation of the house, very clean and there was enough space for five of us to be indoors without feeling cooped up.The pool was very enjoyable. Upon arrival we noticed an issue with the pool and left a voicemail for Kate. She returned our call within ten minutes and had someone to come fix the pool the next day. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, we walked to the bay (about a 10 min walk) and to grab some seafood and ice cream nearby. The house was well stocked with supplies, much more than we expected and we were able to make meals in the kitchen each day. While the house is dog friendly, there was no visible dog hair on furniture or any strange odors and the yard was very clean. If you are bringing a dog along I would recommend this place as they had a nice space for the dog, fenced in back yard and easy to clean floors. Definitely suitable space for pets and children.

Great location and very short walk to beach!

My family had a wonderful time during our stay! The house was clean and accommodating. Great for families and pets! The owners were responsive and wonderful to work with. The house is a very short walk to Bay Beach. Cape May Beach is a very short drive away and we saw dolphins the first day we visited. The house is easily accessible to restaurants, stores, and attractions. We were able to get groceries through Instacart and there is a wonderful seafood restaurant at the end of the street. The house was welcoming and worked out great for our family. The backyard also included a fenced in yard, above ground pool, and patio furniture. We had such a wonderful time and can't wait to rent again!

Didn’t want to leave

We had a wonderful vacation at Cloverdale Cottage. The weather was perfect. The home had everything we needed. The pool was a bonus and we enjoyed it everyday. It was very convenient to both Wildwood and Cape May so we took day trips to either the beach, restaurants, boardwalk or shopping. Kate was very responsive to any questions I had during our week there. We were very comfortable in the home. It was perfect for relaxing, game nights and swimming. We definitely plan to be back next year. Fish and Fancy was a great go-to for seafood take-out and Harpoons on the Bay made me so very happy! Thank you for sharing your home with us :)
