The accommodation was exceptionally spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. Situated in a fantastic location just outside of Orange, it offered the perfect balance of peaceful countryside surroundings while still being only a short drive from the town’s restaurants, wineries, and attractions. The tranquil setting, combined with the generous living areas and well-appointed facilities, made it an ideal place for a relaxing getaway.

We enjoyed our stay in the cottage which was bright and airy and modern insideWe cycled walked and the 2 small dogs enjoyed seeing the procession of sheep along the well fenced garden

Great Location

The location was great and easy to get around to explore Orange and the surrounding areas. House and property was lovely and well-accommodating.

Excellent country stay just outside Orange

Great location close to Orange town and wineries, perfect for our three dogs who enjoyed roaming the property and the closeby produce markets were a wonderful bonus for gathering ingredients to cook our meals in the house and enjoy the fireplace outside after.

Perfect Getaway

A great property - modern, spacious, well planned and with lovely views. Appreciated the secure garden for our dog and the chance toget away in a private but beautiful setting. Would definitely book again!

Farm stay

Great farm stay experience. House was a little dirty but after a quick broom of the floors the place was enjoyable and cosy.

Cooinda cottage was the perfect getaway for us as a group of friends gathering together for local RnR. Drive from Orange was as expected. The instructions to the house were clear. Make sure to check the Cooinda Cottage sign at the beginning of the drive(google maps will lead you to next door). Molong was also nearby for us (visit the great hat shop and local cafe). Fully fenced for our dog to be safe for her own relaxing time. The views were fantastic - wine and cheese under the tree was a perfect way to experience sunset. Inside, the house had everything we needed for 5 x older folks. Beds were super comfy. Couch was expansive for an arvo nap. Nice supply of coffee pods. It was a relaxing, easy space for all. The fireplace inside was super efficient and warmed the place with the fan (switch at bottom of fireplace). We brought our own wood, firelighters etc. I have already recommended this lovely place to friends. It’s worth it.

Borenore bliss!

Had a great time at the cottage with another family. Kids loved the trampoline and we were so close to some other friends in the area. Will definitely be back!

Weekend away

Perfect for me and a friend. So much better than a hotel Lovely, open space to relax. Enjoyed the slow combustion fire for warmth and to sit around with a wine after busy social days. I loved waking up to the space of a farm. Will stay there again.

Lovely Dog Friendly Farm Stay

Beautiful spot to relax with the pups and the other half. Easy drive to town. Close drive to all local wineries. Given no shops around we would have been happy to pay a little extra for some extra touches or general pantry items e.g tea/coffee/cooking oil/salt and pepper.

Awesome Farm Stay

The property was really clean and fully equipped - heaters in every room to keep us warm throughout the night, a fireplace to provide us a cozy vibe while watching the streaming platforms on TV (Netflix, Stan, etc), really comfy beds and kitchenwares for us to wine and dine after our tiring wineries tour. And the best part was we woke up to the sound of birds chirping and the farm animals grazing outside.

Christmas at Cooinda

We had a very enjoyable stay with family. Peace and quiet in the country, the kids loved walking in the paddock, running around the yard and bouncing on the trampoline. We enjoyed a drink on the front porch and dinner by the fire pit in the evening. It was a short drive to vineyards and Lake Canobolas, where we did a lovely walk around the lake. A top spot!

Wonderful farm stay

Lovely little farm house, nicely renovated and ideal for kids with huge secure fenced yard, massive trampoline and so much to explore. Around 1km up the driveway so well away from other properties, very quiet and amazing views in every direction. Beds on the soft side but comfy enough. Excellent wifi. Even a power outage one late afternoon during a storm did not dampen our spirits - agent was super helpful with power restored within a few hours, and the kids got to experience indoor bedtime camping by torchlight! Although losing power to the pump-only water was a short-term inconvenience. A few minor maintenance items and suggested conveniences have been emailed to the agent. Note that like most farms the house is on tank water which was very brown and probably needs a flush out.

A pleasant and satisfying farm stay overall — arriving in winter to a warm, air‑conditioned room was a great welcome. A few things need attention: the BBQ wasn’t working properly (an issue noted by previous guests), the TV didn’t work, the board games were incomplete or broken, the toilet roll holder was loose, and the bathtub wasn’t functioning. Having these fixed, it would easily be a 5‑star stay. For now, I’m happy to give it 4 stars.

I'm sorry about the BBQ, TV, board games, toilet roll holder and bathtub - that's more issues than we'd like, especially with the BBQ already flagged by previous guests, and I appreciate you taking the time to list them all clearly so we can get them properly sorted.
