Our family had a wonderful time at this property. The house was beautiful and very cozy. The kitchen is fully stocked with any appliance you can think of. The beds were super comfortable. The backyard was just stunning- so many places to sit and read and enjoy the pool. The gardens are wonderfully maintained and attract butterflies and hummingbirds. The view of the lake is just stunning. Would go again!

This was a perfect place for three generations to enjoy swimming, hiking, beach time and family BBQs. Rasa was wonderful; she was quick to respond to questions, and filled us in on local events and sights. The house is roomy with comfortable beds, a good kitchen, and interesting art on the walls. If you visit in August, do expect it to be buggy outside in the early evening -- bring some repellent, though there is some provided as well. The view of the lake is dreamy!

We had a lovely stay at Rasa’s cottage in Port Rowen. It was exactly as described. Marc met us and made sure that we knew all the importance details. The welcome basket was much appreciated, especially the local products. The cottage was well equipped and the heated pool was outstanding. Thank you!

Rasa's place is fantastic. The amazing view, beautiful property and the heated pool where perfect for our 3 generations family.It was very clean and cozy, the kitchen has everything you need, from appliances to condiments. We used the washer and drier, dishwasher, cooked and everything was perfect.The pool has a few toys for the little ones, like noodles and a beach ball, and Rasa even lend us their Long Point park pass for one of our visits.Plenty of towels, beds were comfy (although pillows are very much to each other's preference), and toiletries were provided.Communication was top notch and they were always available for questions.Keep in mind it is an old house so there are a few spiders, and the floor is a bit crooked. My senior parents were good in the main floor, but wouldn't work for someone with physical disabilities.

Relaxing with great views

The hosts were lovely and made the stay memorable. The pool and almost tropical views were amazing. Comfy beds and large kitchen. Nearby Antique store and birding was great!

Rasa and Marc couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful during our stay. They thought of every possible need that we might have. We opened a drawer or cupboard and voila, there it was. This cottage is full of character and is decorated beautifully. We especially enjoyed the heated pool and the gardens! We would highly recommend a booking at this cottage!

This place is amazing. The view across the lake is great and the pool was a perfect size and depth for us and our two kids. The house itself felt spacious and was so well stocked. They have literally thought of everything including two different types of coffee machine. Rasa and Marc are lovely too and were very helpful with suggestions of things to do and places to eat. We would definitely recommend Cote Rowan to others.

We had the most wonderful time at this beautiful lake house in Port Rowan. Four adults and a very happy four-year-old made the trip, and the house suited every one of us perfectly. It's clean, spacious, and comfortable, with serene lake views that were an absolute pleasure to wake up to every morning. The garden so lush and gorgeous that or a glass of wine and admire the greenery and flowers. An absolute highlight was the heated pool — we all loved it, but honestly, our little one might have loved it just a bit more! It made for some of the best moments of the trip. Evenings were just as good, with plenty of grilling and chilling on the deck, watching the sun go down over the lake. Rasa and Marc were super helpful and gracious hosts, and it really added to how relaxed and easy the whole stay felt. The location is fantastic too: several restaurants just a couple of minutes' drive (or walk) away, a grocery store just as close, a great beach nearby, and a couple of terrific, affordable golf courses for those who wanted to play a round. All in all, this was a great, memorable stay for the whole family. Thank you, Rasa and Marc — we hope to be back!

Tranquility

Amazing stay, quiet, beautiful and close to nature. Peaceful town. Incredible hosts, clean house with all the amenities and comfort. The pool was warm even on cold days. The house was lovely and very welcoming. Gorgeous garden around the house, they even bring in a couple of goats to eat some of the vegetation on the hill which was an absolute thrill for us. Would definitely go back again.

Cote Du Rowan- is a lovely wine indeed.

Cote Du Rowan- was everything we were looking for and more in a vacation. It was spacious inside, clean, artfully decorated, beautiful outdoor swimming space and view of the lake. It was all and all wonderful. Rasa and Mark (maybe Marc? :)), were welcoming and kind, but also gave us complete privacy during our stay. Very respectful and congenial.

Mini vacation

We had a wonderful mini vacation at Cotes du Rowan. Marc and Rasa are amazing hosts. Very quick to communicate. The cottage had everything we needed. A full stocked kitchen, plenty of towels for pool and bathroom. The pool was kept very clean. My grandchildren from England practically lived in it. The grounds are wonderful to walk around with lots of plants and greenery to admire. The view of the lake was beautiful. We will return next year. Thankyou Marc and Rasa

Peaceful Perfection!

Cotes du Rowan is absolute magic! There are not enough words to express how amazing this cottage is. The view of Lake Erie brings a calm, that any water lover will understand. The gardens and pathways make you feel as if you’ve been swept away to a far off land. The cottage itself was so comfortable and felt like home the minute you walked in. The pool was a dream was always the perfect temperature/clean. Rasa and Marc have thought of every little detail, to make this place beyond wonderful. They made themselves available for anything we needed and were beyond welcoming! There is no doubt, we will be back!!!

Amazing - will be back!

Rasa and Marc are amazing hosts! Their cottage is well kept and equipped with ample space to have a lovely stay.They greeted us on arrival to show us around which was super friendly. They also had a thoughtfully curated welcome basket with local snacks, beverages and goods which we thoroughly enjoyed.The view was great to enjoy both the water and sunsets with well tended gardens that made it feel very lush and tropical. The pool was warm so even our baby could enjoy the water. The kitchen had everything you could possibly think of to cook bother indoors and outdoors on the grill (including various spices, great non-stick pans, variety of coffee/tea). The bathrooms were well stocked with high-end soaps/shampoos/air sprays and plenty of bath and pool towels. Anything we needed, Rasa and Marc were quick to help with. We'll definitely be back.

Cotes du Rowan - Amazing!

Cotes du Rowan is a fantastic place with absolutely stunning views of Long Point inner bay. A great place for an early fall girls retreat to de - stress! The gardens were a magical place to wander, and we found out that the owners keep the pool open, warm and clean as long as possible!!! The house was so clean, beds comfortable with high end sheets and duvets. The kitchen is truly well equipped for cooking gourmet meals, and we also found fresh market produce from the Port Rowan Harbour market. Rasa and Marc are very special hosts . Not only did they give us a basket of locally produced goodies, snacks and...yes that included beer and wine . They also let us use their Long Point Provincial park pass. We were pleasantly surprised by how much there is to do in this area. from visiting vineyards, breweries, golf, historic walking trails and Great shopping in Port Rowan!
