Peaceful stay in a gorgeous house
Both the house and property around it are stunning! Just incredible views outside every window with no neighbors in sight. (Unless you count horses and cows!)
Kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked so if you forget something, its no biggie. Host was soooo nice. Hope to stay here again!

We booked this house to attend a family wedding close by. Leading up to our arrival members of my family had questions about supplies at the rental - the owners were quick to reply and friendly.
The house itself is beautiful and pictures depict accurately!

Best of both worlds
Very clean place to enjoy friends and family. The farm was relaxing, watching the horses, enjoyed the porch overlooking the pond in the mornings. in the evening, grilling on the deck, and later, having a good time around the fire pit. Really liked the convenience of the lake only 3 minutes away, and the double decker to enjoy the lake, situated back in a cove, with less hustle and bustle of boats and other watercraft. It truly is the best of both worlds, and can’t wait to go back. Randy C.

Can’t wait to return!
This has to be the most beautiful and clean place I have ever stayed! None of us wanted to check out and leave. This property has everything you could possibly need and more! We used every amenity offered including the private lake dock and fire pit. Our group enjoyed grilling brats on the gas grill and roasting s’mores on the log fire out front. In the morning, there was nothing better than waking up to horses right outside our windows and drinking coffee on the back porch with the sound of wind and birds singing. I brought a portable hammock I tied between two trees out front and I could’ve laid there forever. Everyone left completely relaxed and stress free. I can’t wait to return! Thank you for hosting!

Even more beautiful in person. Peaceful. Felt like home. Hunters and ranchers (Yellowstone wanna be) will appreciate the decor. All well paved roads. 2 restaurants close by road (not by boat)- Trident Marina and Kat Daddy’s. Convenience store about a mile away has basics, including local ground beef from Vinemont, Al. Can get Hunts Brothers pizza there too. Lots of beautiful indoor/outdoor spaces!! The kitchen has 2 ovens. Bring your Keurig or cone shaped filters for coffee. The ice maker was frozen over so may need to buy bags of ice at the convenience store. Even though we had to drive to the dock and on owners property, it was private and very nice 2 decker. Great swimming spot!! No busy boaters and still deep enough to dive. I would ask about ease of bringing/launching and storing your boat. The Trident marina is not open for public launch and there are closer places. No annoying signs about rules…use your common guest sense around home, water, and horses. We brought our dog. Recommend keep on leash unless obedient and won’t go into the pastures as there is not a fence to keep them out from the horses. The furniture is not what I would call toddler/kid friendly. Lots of leather (which I loved). So would recommend this place for mature teenagers and adults. Only recommendation- The king size mattress could use a turn/flip/replace but we slept ok. Would also add darkening drapes for master room for outside lights or bring eye mask.
