We had a great time. There was plenty of room and lots of privacy. So many extras in the kitchen. We sure was thankful for the pool the temperature was in the hundreds. We did not crab off dock was unable to find the pots. Owners thought of everything

We had a great stay. The pool is great as is the porch. The house is spacious and beds are comfortable. We will definitely be back as it was a great house to relax in.

Great getaway

We had a wonderful time in this lovely comfortable home. It is very clean and well equipped and convenient to many areas to explore! Great restaurants in the area as well. Nice dock, and pool area.

Incredible weekend getaway

Our family and pets had a great Memorial Day weekend full of pool time, fishing, s’mores and BBQ. A very clean house that was a perfect getaway locations. Great views of the water and had everything you need right there at the house. Definitely recommend for any family!

We needed a house for a quick stay in Lusby. The hosts have thought of everything to make the stay easy. They communicated ahead of our trip and were easy to work with.

Great quiet spot on the water

Loved the house and kids loved the pool. We also managed to catch a half dozen crabs (August trip). House is on the smaller side, but with four bedrooms everyone had privacy and just what they needed. We'll be back!

My daughter and I enjoyed the place, especially the pool. She really loved the bunk-beds too. I asked for an early check in and that was granted which gave my daughter and I more time to explore the area and Calvert Cliffs. It did rain the entire time which dampened the exploring, and it was low 70s in August for swimming, but we made the most of it and had enjoyable memories.

Great getaway

The home is lovely and comfortable with everything you need. It is in a great and convenient location to a lot of different areas of interest. We especially enjoyed Solomon island and Vera’s restaurant very close to the home. The yard is private with a great size pool. The bed in the master room is very comfy! We didn’t use the dock but it nice and beautiful views.

Quick family getaway in July of 2024

We enjoyed our time in Lusby. There was enough room for our family of four. The kitchen was well stocked and it was nice having a gas grill. My husband enjoyed trying to catch fish off the dock. He did manage to get two crabs. We spent most of our time in the pool and relaxing on the deck. The house is located near several grocery stores and restaurants.

Graduation trip

We traveled to southern MD for my nephews graduation last weekend and stayed 3 nights in Lusby. The house was conveniently located and check in was easy. The weather didn’t cooperate so we weren’t able to use the pool or dock much at all but everything was as described and we all enjoyed the weekend together. The furniture -especially the outside seating- is rather dated but perfectly functional. The beds were very comfortable and the place was very clean. I would stay again and hope for a little sunshine so we could enjoy the pool and beautiful deck more.

Maryland stay

The house and property location are nice . Located close to the grocery store. The pool is very nice however I think it should be noted that it is not heated. They advertise everywhere that this is a house with a private pool that opens May 1, not one mention of it not being heated . We stayed in the middle of May and it was so cold we were unable to use it which devastated our 3 year old ! Had I known this prior I would have booked another location. The house wasn’t as clean as I would have expected, as if no one had been there to clean it for the beginning of the season yet . I had to reach behind the couch for a ball and it was full of cobwebs and dust as were under the couch and beds. The bathroom shower also had some buildup . The pool area had lounge chair and outdoor furniture which is nice however you have to uncover and clean off the debris and some had wasp nests.

Had we known during your visit, we would’ve sent someone out right away to take care of it.- Our team is available throughout every stay, and we encourage guests to reach out with any concerns so we can resolve them in real-time.- While the pool is advertised as private and opens May 1, it’s not listed as heated. In the vacation rental industry, that detail is typically called out if available. That said, we’ll consider adding a note for future clarity.- We’re sorry your little one wasn’t able to enjoy the pool due to the temperature. We understand how disappointing that must have been.Thanks again for your feedback, it helps us continue to improve the experience for future guests.
