Welcome to our cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bath vacation rental on beautiful Anna Maria Island, Florida! This charming and inviting retreat is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing beach getaway. Step inside and you'll find a beautifully furnished living room with comfortable seating, a flat-screen TV, and plenty of natural light — the ideal spot to unwind after a day in the sun. The adjacent kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with the essentials you need to prepare meals during your stay, including a refrigerator, and ample counter space for easy meal prep. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening dinner in the cozy dining and seating area.
One of the best features of this property is its location! The soft sands and turquoise waters of the Gulf beaches are just a short distance away, making it easy to spend your days soaking up the Florida sunshine.

This is a great property for a couple. The place was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The beach was about a 3 block walk. We enjoyed walking the beach to breakfast every morning and viewing beautiful sunsets. The area was quiet. The unit has limited cooking facilities, but we were fine with that! A washer and dryer is available if needed. If you are okay with walking to the beach this is an excellent option.

The host was very communicative and checked in regularly during our stay to see if we needed anything, which we appreciated. The location was also convenient to our stay, less than a block away from the beach, and close to the Anna Maria Island Trolley stops which we used frequently during our stay.That said, there were a couple of things that caught us off guard. We weren’t aware ahead of time that the unit is attached to another space which affected the sense of privacy, as you could clearly hear conversations happening next door. It might be helpful for this to be more clearly stated in the listing. We also encountered a couple of cockroaches during our stay. I understand this can be common in the area, as the host mentioned, but it was still uncomfortable and worth noting for future guests. The host did mention that the property is on a regular schedule pest control plan as many other places in the area do. Overall, the hose was attentive, but I’d recommend clearer listing details and pest control attention to improve the experience .

We enjoyed our stay and the location to the beach—very walkable distance. The unit was very clean and seemed to be newly remodeled. Bed was very large and comfortable. It was not equipped with a stove, microwave, or dishwasher as stated. This wasn’t a problem for us, as we didn’t cook meals at the cottage. I would recommend this rental to friends and would stay again!!

Overall great location!! Convenient to everything!! No D/W, oven, or microwave as stated in listing. You don’t have control of the air/heat. Window unit is only for kitchen. No lights in kitchen, closet holds nothing. B/r hooks falling off, need mirrors in b/r: full length. Need a TV in b/r. You’re attached to another unit and it is very loud: hear every move they make, e wry word spoken next door. Huge gap under main door, let’s in bugs, skinks, light, etc.Nice & modern, needs some TLCRENTAL CO DOES NOT ADDRESS NEEDS

The unit itself served the purpose for our stay. We were in town for a wedding and wanted close proximity to the beach and other guests. Our flight and rental car pick up was delayed causing us to not get to the rental until 2am. When we tried what we thought was our unit door, the code would not work. We tried calling the after hours line with no answer. I then had to take my family (my son is 7) to a hotel for the night because we couldn't get in the rental. The only reason i'm giving more stars than i wanted to is because the property manager was responsive the next day and did refund some of the money. We had to pay more for the hotel than the cost of the rental property though. We had very limited time to take my kids to the beach and wanted to get up Friday morning first thing to go, but this ruined the morning because we had to check out of hotel and check into VRBO and could only spend about an hour at the beach before we had to get ready and be at the rehearsal for wedding. Not to mention we were exhausted. At one point I was woken up because I heard someone mixing a glass with a spoon. Sounded like they were mixing chocolate milk or cream in coffee. Apparently the bedroom backs up to the kitchen in the shared unit. It didn't bother us too much, but we weren't in the unit much either. Just keep that in mind. Loved the shower outside the house to rinse off sand. There is no microwave but there is a toaster oven.

Needed Getaway

The cottage was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. It worked great for most our needs. It was just a short walk to the beach. Just a couple minor suggestions and this cottage would be exceptional. I thought it could use few hooks by the shower and sink for towels. While there were an abundance of linnens,which is nice but it left little room for storage of clothes and personal items in the drawers. Overall it was a great experience and we would consider staying here again.

Cozy place to stay near the beach

It was a friendly old Florida rental area in Bradenton Beach, less than a mile from Bridge Street town center. We also drove over to Holmes Beach and Anna Maria, as well as convenient shopping trips into Bradenton. The Shuttle stop is nearby for busier times. We loved the Anna Maria Beach Cafe and found ourselves there several times. The unit was as advertised with comfortable beds, excellent shower, small kitchen and some cooking items (limited) and the obligatory saggy vacation rental couch. Lots of people walking, riding bikes and out visiting with their new neighbors gave it the feel of down home. . The only concern was there was NO smoke alarm in the unit. No one came to fix it despite an e-mail and telephone conversation.

We had a great time and liked the cleanliness of the property. However, the ad for this property misrepresented it in our opinion. The twin beds were not suited to be pushed together due to headboards/footboards, there is not outdoor seating area (patio/porch) the tv speaker was junk, outlet in bathroom did not work which made getting ready a challenge. There was a gap under the door that leads to other unit. So any noise was completely unfiltered. You could hear them open a pop. Their kitchen backed up to our bedroom so the scents of anything they cooked overtook the unit. Thankfully the people staying in other unit were quiet and great neighbors, otherwise it could have made for a very unpleasant week. We made due with these challenges and had a great time but would not stay here again. Loved the area and location just not the unit as it is currently set up.

The property wasn't listed accurately. Kitchen - no microwave nor stove so we weren't able to prepare anything. No outside space nor patio furniture, inconvenient shared laundry, no proper closet space nor drawers for clothes, large bugs present, uncomfortable bed and I don't think the bed cover was washed, no a/c in bedroom (controlled by unit next door), uncomfortable style of kitchen table & chairs, broken beach furniture, poor selection of dishes, inadequate lighting over kitchen sink area, burned out light at outside door.
