The Falcon's Nest is a cheerful beachy home in nostalgic, charming Falcon just one hour from Perth. Only ONE STREET from the stunning Falcon/Halls Head beaches... the air-conditioned house is the perfect spot for your next getaway or a longer stay. With a casual surf style you will feel relaxed and at home. On a generous sized block there is room to park your cars and boat. We have an amazing outdoor space for you to enjoy including a kids playground, BBQ and hammocks to relax and unwind.
The space
The property is well set up host a large family and will comfortably sleep up to 8 people. It is open plan with a large front patio and native garden, a loungeroom, dining and kitchen area which opens out into a huge alfresco patio, BBQ area, ample lawn, shady peppermint trees and a small children's playground.
There is a modern equipped kitchen with new appliances including a coffee machine (with complimentary biodegradable coffee pods), jaffle maker and soda stream.
The newly renovated master bedroom is the ultimate parent's retreat with a new king sized bed, celling fan, walk in robe, ensuite with luxurious bath and walk in shower and dual sinks.
The study is located off the master bedroom with WIFI and a home office set up ready for remote working.
The children's room is air conditioned and consists of 2 bunks (top bunks are recommended for children over 10 years and are also not well suited to adults).
The 3rd bedroom has a ceiling fan and queen bed to accommodate an additional single or couple.
The 2nd renovated bathroom/laundry has a washing machine and dryer, separate toilet and modern shower and vanity for guest use.
The home is equipped with WIFI and has a large wall mounted smart TV for streaming subscriptions (Netflix, iview etc) please BYO login. A small selection or books and board games are at the property for your use also.
Modern white linen and towels are included in the rental price. A highchair and port-a cot are available at the property for no additional charge. No cot linen supplied.
ACCESSIBILITY: The property is in a very quiet location with ample flat space for parking and is single level with no stairs. Whilst it is not universally accessible we are committed to trying to create a space that meets your familiy's needs. Please reach out to discuss your accessibility requirements and we will gladly share hallway/doorway dimensions and other relevant information to allow you to assess if the property meets your needs.
Guest access
The entire home is available for your exclusive use. The shed at the rear of the property is locked and not for guest use at this time.
The Falcon's Nest team are aiming to make our property as sustainable as possible. We have minimized our use of artificial fragrances and single use plastics and encourage all guests to make use of our compost bin for food waste and recycling for containers.
The property is one street away from the coast and beach and a comfortable 30min walk from Falcon Bay Beach Cafe and only 20min stroll to the Seascapes Beach Cafe and shopping precinct.
Other things to note
We deeply respect our local environment and neighbourhood. Parties, large gatherings and antisocial behaviour will NOT be tolerated.
