Vaulted ceiling with clerestory windows and the wrap-around deck, bring the outdoors in - with views of a pine ridge and the fishing pond in the distance. Both the hot tub and the outdoor dining are within a screened porch. Fire pit , charcoal grill and porch swing beyond. Overlook’s layout works great for a couple – who could live entirely on the top floor with living space and one bedroom – or for a group, with a second gathering area and tv and second full-size bath with double vanity, and two of the three queen bedrooms, on the entry level. Kids and adults love the arcade console table. Full-size stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, make this as comfortable as home. Wifi available. Newly paved driveway is suitable for cycles, bikes and sports cars. Pet friendly (2 pet limit, $50+tax pet cleaning fee).

Nice cabin. Great location. Stayed with family members and 1 dog. Closest cabin was about a 1/10 of a mile away. Quiet area. Saw quite a few deer running around every day. Would definitely stay here again.

Overnight stay

The cabin was very nice, clean, private and cozy. Perfect for our group of 6 adults. Our only complaint would be the beds and pillows. Other than that we would definitely stay there again!

Brief Family Getaway

The Overlook was a great property for our family. We enjoyed many activities in the area and the home worked well for us. The hair dryer was missing from the house.

Short Stay

It was an awesome place to stay! Quoet & away from all the chaos! Loved it! Only problem was downstairs bedroom was wired incorrect, so was not able to use fan with the light off.

Overlook as advertised

Enjoyed our stay. Close to hiking and some restaurants but secluded. Enjoyed the hot tub both nights of our stay and it appeared new and clean.

The cabin's location was further than advertised. The swimming pool was at least a 35-minute drive from the cabins, and the cabins were not stocked enough with towels and bath tissues.

Beautiful Overlook

The location was remote but still close enough to the things we wanted to do. The house was very well maintained and everything was in perfect working condition. Also, the view from the deck was amazing! We would definitely stay again.

Overlook Cabin in Hocking Hills. OHIO

We had a great time and restful spring break vacation at this location. Cabin is in a beautiful remote setting with quick access to small town Logan, OH if you need anything or want to go into town for dinnet or supplies. It was a bit farther than expected to all the Hocking Hils hiking sites...lots of hills and curves to get to them not the easiest fir motion sickness people. The cabin was beautiful and management was super helpful and great to work with. We had a great time here and highly recommend it.

Peaceful Getaway

This property was well taken care of and exactly as described. I loved all of the windows and natural light. We saw rabbits, deer, birds galore, and butterflies. The hot tub was wonderful and worked well. This cabin is a bit tucked away, but still within reasonable distance to any of the things we wanted to do. We also got to check in a bit early. I would visit again.

Great stay

The property was very clean. No debris anywhere. No bugs inside. All dishes were clean. Very accessible. Drive through the town was a bit unsettling due to neighbors but they don’t really have control over that. Other cabins were far enough apart so that we could barely hear them at any time during our stay.

The Overlook

Just perfect. The home was incredibly clean and beaming with warm light through the seemingly endless windows. Red tailed hawkes flew at eye level, deer grazed lazely below. The hot tub was in perfect order and also had an amazing view. Wouldn't change a thing. The front desk staff were very friendly and we felt right at home. Highly recommended.

Family weekend

Memorial weekend getaway with my in-laws and college age kids. The kitchen has enough pots, pans and cooking tools to prepare meals for 6, great coffee pot and toaster. Very clean, great views. Beautiful bird watching. My kids liked the game console very much. The front desk attendants were excellent—super fast delivery of extra towels, hot tub was warm and ready to go. It was a great stay at the Overlook Chalet. TIPS *I ordered too much wood, we really only needed 3 of the 8 cords I had delivered **bring OFF insect repellent, we did find a few ticks after sitting by the bonfire ***read the “what to bring” portion of your email, it was super helpful, aluminum foil, paper towels and flip flops for the hot tub!

My cabin flooded. Damaged items and still haven’t heard back from the manager.

My cabin flooded the last night we were there. The manager said the AC pipe was frozen and with the heavy rain the cabin flooded. He states that this was an act of god rather than improper upkeep on the rental and is not giving me a refund of my money and still hasn’t addressed the two cell phone chargers that are permanently broken. This vacation was a scam and I am very upset.

True Review

This property, although newer is already quite worn! The floor boards around hot tub are green, nails are sticking out of the floor boards, the basement bedrooms are missing TVs and the layout is very strange. The kitchen and living room upstairs were beautiful and the property was very clean, however, it was as if the property owners short changed a few small details that could have increased their ROI and tenant experience! The basement has room for a washer/dryer but instead they put a wrestling game there and the outdoor fire pit benches are way too close to the fire pit. We loved the hot tub but it could have been more enjoyed with a tv out there or at a minimum string lights. I rate this property a 3 because it was very clean and nice, but a lot of missing items in the property and the drive too it reminded me of the Hills Have Eyes!

Unique cabin!

Nice place to stay. Only has a charcoal grill so don't forget the charcoal like I did. Beds are firm and comfy. Broadband internet. No satellite internet. Big plus! Cool, classic video game console in the basement too. Hot tub in the screened porch is very nice!

Nice getaway

This property is very nice. We’ve actually stayed in this cabin once before and chose it again because it was clean and one of the only ones in the area with 3 bedrooms.

Nice privacy and very clean cabin.

We enjoyed the privacy and the cabin. It was very clean and stocked well. It was a good location but a little further away from the park then we knew. The exact address of the cabin isn't shared until day and time of check-in.

Quiet location, good for families

My family stayed here for one night while visiting Hocking Hills and really enjoyed the cabin. We had two small children with us, so the second living space downstairs was much appreciated. The property manager was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. The cabin is clean and in a very quiet location. While other cabins are within view, the location is still very secluded. The hot tub was wonderful, as was the fire pit. As others have mentioned, bring extra towels as there is no laundry. While we enjoyed our stay, some things that might improve the cabin would be: more comfortable beds (we all found them a bit hard), higher speed internet, and maybe some chairs around the fire pit. Overall though, it’s a very nice cabin with very responsive management, which is definitely a great thing.

Heavenly

This was an easy process. Wonderful directions and the place is just beautiful!! We seen lots of deer. Took a walk down the lane since the weather was perfect. The hot tub was amazing. The place is quiet and much needed break from the hustle of life. We will be coming back!!
