BEST LOCATION in Palermo Soho! Penthouse with Two Terraces

Penthouse Suite in the heart of trendy Palermo Soho. Located at Thames and Costa Rica Streets on 7th penthouse level above the traffic/noise. Outstanding views from both sides of the building on seventh floor overlooking the trees and quaint streets of Soho. Two balconies, one facing East and one facing West. Lots of light and cross ventilation, in fact, the entire front side of the house is totally glass. In cool weather you get both sides of the house filled with natural heat. Large balcony is 32 m2 (350 SF). Condo is total of 95 m2 (1022 SF+/-) with 63 m2 (673 SF) interior. When comparing to alternatives, DON'T BE FOOLED: Most places are very tiny and not as large as this penthouse. Wonderful sunshine and peaceful setting. New (Aug. 2018) memory foam bed, new accent wall paint and new tango art work.

There is a tennis club and gym across the street and a great one about six blocks away next to a huge supermarket. Neighborhood grocery store one block away.

Walking distance (8 blocks)to Subway Plaza Italia subway station. In the heart of the best restaurants and shopping in town. Located on a quiet street. Only a few blocks from Plaza Serrano yet away from the noise. Grocery store, laundry, and multiple restaurants, all within one block. This is THE neighborhood you want to stay in and own in if you're a buyer. If you rent somewhere else, you'll be taking a cab here regularly for BA's finest dining.

Excellent home for entertaining guests. Sunny living room has fold out couch/bed to provide semi private area to sleep two for a total of four guests and the finest of linens. Open American style kitchen/dining room with great view. Tub/shower in master bath. One step required for wheel chair guests. For handicap needs detail please check January 28, 2013 comments from guest. Super High Speed internet, flat screen TV with DVR. Modern plug ins for music and MP3/CD stereo system. Very Romantic mood lighting through out. Decor is local art work and very pleasing. In-room safe, cordless telephones with voicemail, maid service (yet no cleaning fee)and all the furnishings sophisticated travelers demand. Bedroom has 'blackout shade' to make the room totally dark for sleeping-in after those long Argentine nights.

P.S. Beware: The one consistent complaint is that folks enjoy the place so much that they stay in the condo too much and don't get out to see Buenos Aires and Soho enough!

A lovely home in Palermo for our stay

We loved this property for our week in Bueno Aires. All of the communication with Thomas and his assistant was prompt and helpful. We were greeted with a food gift basket and a bottle of Malbec on our arrival, and soon felt completely at home. I love the neighbourhood, which was treed, amazingly quiet, and full of useful shops and good restaurants. The front outdoor balcony is huge - meaning we spent part of our days out there enjoying the sun and the feeling of being in a real home.

Bright and clean

The apartment is very bright, full of windows, and well organized. It is located in a very trendy neighborhood near tons of restaurants and cafes. The internet, the bed and bathrooms are really A.Guille was easy to communicate with and very welcoming. Our very small issues were solved quickly. This apartment is a very good choice in Palermo.

We love this apartment. Spacious with a great terrace. The manager, Guille, is fantastic- she is always available for any questions or issues. The location is perfect for wandering in Palermo and Recoleta. We will be back.

A Perfect Place

We stayed 4 nights in this very comfortable and charming and quiet condo. It’s in a great area of BA. Lots of fabulous restaurants and cafes. Grocery store around the block. We would have loved to stay a month…so sad to say goodbye to this lovely apartment and to our great hosts. We would definitely go back.

Outstanding!!!

We stayed 30 days in this beautiful apartment, with lots of natural light, and located in an area full of restaurants, cafes, stores, a gym and laundry service close by, and walking distance from the beautiful parks of Palermo. The apartment was clean, extremely comfortable, and had everything we needed for a month-long stay. The balcony was so relaxing! Tomas, the owner and Guille, the manager were both super friendly, responsive and extremely helpful. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Nice and relaxing

My partner and I had a wonderful 2 weeks in Palermo. The apartment was clean, comfortable with great access to most of what you need. The large balcony was great, and so was the small balcony off of the bedroom. There is a Western union and market less than a 5-minute walk away. The bed was very comfortable with a large soaking tub, however the spa/jets on the tub do not work. Guille was such a nice person. Communication with Guille and Thom was great and check in was smooth. I am very pleased we chose this condo, and we would definitely choose it again.

An Oasis in Palermo Soho!

Truly enjoyed our fabulous week-long stay at "The Penthouse". Tomas and Beatriz were consummate hosts and everything was "as advertised/pictured" with their gorgeous home. The main deck was huge...and all other rooms, facilities, equipment etc. were everything we could have asked for...and more. We really appreciated having access to a few extra supplies, utensils and other sundry items. Made our stay that much easier. Last but not least, the neighbourhood is terrific with any/all services readily available. Don't hesitate....book now!

Triple A!! Amazing condo, neighborhood and city!

The condo is superb, well appointed, very functional, with a good amount of space The terraces provided terrific outdoor space. The front one is nestled in the plane trees making you feel like you’re in your own treehouse! The neighborhood has everything you need. Great restaurants abound, lots of shopping, grocery stores and a great vibe. The property manager was amazing navigating us through the blue dollar situation and providing great recommendations for restaurants and sites to visit. I would highly recommend this property as your home base for your stay in Buenos Aires!

Exceptional Property In Palermo

We had an incredible stay in this beautiful and comfortable penthouse. I can’t say enough about the exceptional hospitality and service by Guille, the apartment manager, she went above and beyond. The apartment is so comfortable and in the best location, within a block to cafes, restaurants, bars, grocery store and shops. The apartment itself has everything we needed, including the most comfortable bed in the master we have ever slept on while on vacation. Our grown daughter slept on the futon/couch in the living room, which she said was also very comfortable. Guille set up a screen, which gave her privacy and her own space. The large terrace was a great place for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. The WiFi worked great, as I had some work I had to do. Thank you for a fabulous stay in this perfect apartment. We can’t wait to return.

Great location and apartment

Tom's apartment is exceptional. It is exactly as shown in the pictures. We found the Palermo neighborhood very safe and welcoming. The manager Guille organized our transportation from the airport and was there to meet us at the apartment. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The apartment is very comfortable. The air conditioning works well, the kitchen is well provisioned, the internet is fast and the bed is very comfortable. What we particularly liked was the Palermo neighborhood. There is a wealth of great restaurants all within a couple of blocks, a couple of really good jazz clubs and all the facilities you need like a grocery store, wine store and laundry. Thanks Tom. We had a wonderful month. Stay at your apartment and hope to do it again soon.

Perfection in Palermo

We loved the apartment from the minute we walked in. After walking through all the major neighborhoods and parks in Buenos Aires, we were even more convinced we’d made the perfect choice selecting this VRBO. It’s located in the heart of the action in Palermo and walking distance to parks, museums, and other attractions. A Hop on Hop off bus stop is just a few clocks away, which we chose to take advantage of as a way get a sense of the city and what areas we wanted to focus on. Buenos Aries is a busy city and it was wonderful to start our day calmly and return from full days out to relax on the patio or in the living room. With street trees that fronted the living room patio, it felt like we were in a green oasis. The bedroom view was unobstructed by other buildings and looked out to the row of trees on the next street over. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, although, with no less than 10 cafes within about a two block radius and excellent restaurants down the block, we didn’t do much cooking. Our only regret was that we hadn’t planned to stay longer than 11 days! Both Tomas and Guille were excellent communicators, responding to any queries immediately. And Guille was so helpful with recommendations. I can’t recommend the place more highly!

AMAZING rental in the perfect neighborhood

We just returned from a week long stay in BA and had the pleasure to stay at Thom's place. I can't say enough good things about the entire experience. This is a beautiful 7th floor penthouse apartment, right in the middle of the vibrant Palermo neighborhood with balconies (and beautiful plants and sitting areas!) on front and back to enjoy the view of the city. A spacious, comfortable and quiet retreat after enjoying the huge diversity of shops, restaurants, nightlife, cafes, markets - all in the immediate blocks surrounding the apartment. Thom was such a gracious host, always getting back to me promptly around any questions I had and making sure we had a little "welcome basket" of Argentine goodies on our arrival - such a nice touch! And Guille, the local host Thom works with, was an absolute GEM. This was our first time to Argentina and we were a bit nervous as we don't speak any Spanish. But Guille helped us with anything/everything we needed - answering questions, sharing recommendations and local tips for how to get the most out of our stay, arranging airport transfers (lovely and reliable drivers!), getting us tickets for local events, and making sure we understood any necessary safety considerations (by the way, we NEVER felt unsafe, just need to use standard precautions as is the case in any large city travel). With Thom and Guille's help, we had an amazing week taking in the sights of BA. Thanks for taking such good care of us!

Fantastic!

We have just returned from a 3-week stay at this apartment, which we used as a base to explore BA, Mendoza, and Uruguay. We absolutely loved our stay! Three key reasons: First, the neighborhood: The location in Palermo Soho was terrific, with dozens of restaurants within 3 blocks, a nearby gym, grocery and laundry service, and easy and inexpensive Ubers for access all over BA. Second, the penthouse itself: Its 7th floor location made it a quiet, peaceful refuge from the lively Palermo area. We especially loved its windows, light, and balconies. While not new, it was very clean, well maintained and had a very comfortable new bed and sofas. Wifi was excellent! We did not do much cooking since restaurants were so plentiful and good but the kitchen was well equipped. We even loved the master bath with its great view, shower, etc. Third, the communication: Thom the owner was very easy to work with for booking and Guille, the BA manager was outstanding for onsite followthrough. She was prompt, detailed and helpful in emailing and texting with us before and during our stay. She assisted with airport transfers, restaurant and sightseeing ideas as well as money and laundry questions. We sincerely appreciated her quick responses, enthusiasm and kindness. This apartment deserves its consistently high ratings and we are delighted that we able to spend so much time in the refreshing winter air of Argentina and beautiful Buenos Aires. Amazing location

This apartment is amazing. It is located close to restaurants, shops, subways, buses and is close to everywhere else in the city. It has a beautiful terrace balcony that is high enough that you can’t hear the bustle of the street below and is surrounded by trees. The bedroom balcony faces Palermo’s low buildings and treetops. It has natural light all day!!! The property manager Guillermina is helpful and diligent. I wish we didn’t have to leave so soon!!! It felt like home away from home! Definitely will try to be back soon!

Perfect location

While the apartment itself is confortable and well appointed, the location is the reason it should be rented. It is extremely well situated and we walked everywhere or took a short taxi rides to other neighborhoods. The other reason is the property manager, Guille. She was an angel for us and helped make our one-week stay memorable in so many ways. If you like live jazz make sure to try the Backroom next street over (and try their thai shrimps!).

It's all about the location in Buenos Aires and this is THE best nexis in Palermo Soho. This is my favorite part of Buenos Aires and Valentino's is in the heart of it. There are lots of great areas of BA, however it is easy to just stay in Palermo Soho. I also love the Sycamore tree-lined street of Thames and it's proximity to the subway.
