Lake level is up and at full pool! Spend your weeks or weekends on Lake Lanier fishing, boating, and entertaining on the single slip party dock! This charming 3600 square foot cabin home is deceptively large! Renovated open floor plan concept with Great Room featuring tin ceiling from Peachtree Records in Atlanta! Pot Belly Stove can heat the entire home! Lake Lanier views from three levels including the screened in porch. 4 bedrooms, plus a bonus room and 3 full bathrooms, gives you plenty of room for the entire family and your friends! Quick access to GA 400 means a short ride to shopping, restaurants, and tourist attractions such as Dahlonega, Atlanta Motorsports track in Dawsonville, Cleveland and Helen. Features upgraded gig speed wifi with unlimited data!!!

The home is on the shoreline and nestled in the trees with a view of the lake from all three levels. The upstairs "crow's nest" deck is just off the King Bedroom and offers breathtaking morning and evening views of the woods and lake while you sit and drink your coffee or adult beverage in the covered siting area. The Screened porch off the main level provides views for the entire family, and the covered downstairs patio has seating for 12 around the patio table plus room for more. Stainless steel propane grill is ready to cook anything you imagine. You can also roast up some marshmallows around the fire pit and make up some s'mores for dessert. The home is located between two very convenient lake Lanier recreational parks, each with boat ramps. Nix Bridge to the South and Toto Creek to the North and only minutes away. There are several marinas nearby. You can rent a boat from one the close by marinas, or bring your own, (lake levels permitting)*. We also have a 4 person paddle boat at the dock which guests can use free of charge.

Very easy walk from the home to the lake.

The kids (kids of all ages) can enjoy the pro-level foosball table and the Wii system in the gaming room at basement level. 2 big couches and an ottoman give them plenty of room.

*** Absolutely NO house parties or more than 12 people on premises. Absolutely no pets or smoking. If you and your guests can't abide by these rules, please look for another property. Thank you.

Great location for our daily shopping in Dawsonville and Deloniga. The Outlets in Dawsonville are excellent. We had great meals at every restaurant we went to. If you are visiting during the Holiday in December I highly recommend making reservation at the restaurants a day or two in advance. The Deloniga parade was super fun.

We had a wonderful family Thanksgiving at the cabin. There was plenty of room for all 10 of us. The cabin was clean and kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. We were able to easily cook a Thanksgiving meal for ten. We have often stayed in VRBO rentals and Michael was the best host we have ever had. He responded right away to every question we had, and even left a delicious pie for us when we arrived. We hope to return again!

Michael, our host, was extremely helpful and polite. He answered any questions almost immediately and offered suggestions as well. The house was as expected. Large enough for all of us; the kitchen had everything we needed; chech-in process was very simple as were the checkout instructions. We didn't utilize the dock but our visit was to see our niece and great-niece.

Excellent property. We had plenty of room for our whole family. Loved swimming in the lake and fishing. We were also close to some great shopping. We felt like we were far away from everything but were still able to go do things if we wanted to.

Loving the memories!

Such a peaceful, quiet area. Easy to get to and close to restaurants and shopping. Perfect for me, my grown kids and grandkids with lots of room and plenty of things to do. We made some great memories!

Fabulous place!!!

We had a group of 6 which was just family. We made this a Christmas trip and the cabin was perfect for us. We all had our own bedroom and we had plenty of space to spread out. The cabin's floor plan was wonderful. We had so much fun playing games on the huge dining room table. I would recommend this place very highly. The view was gorgeous and I would love to go back in warm weather. We had deer visitors and so enjoyed watching them and all the beautiful squirrels climbing the trees. Helen and Dahlonega were very close by and we enjoyed visiting the towns and enjoying the Christmas tree lighting. Restaurants very close by as well and of course the outlet shopping. Our host was very accomodating and easy to get hold up. Loved the whole trip. I would give this a 10++++++

Group Stay for Wedding

The property was as described and pictured. Michael offered helpful information about the area and responded quickly when I had a question. I can't really comment on the amenities of the unit as we were only there to sleep and get dressed for both days of our stay. We enjoyed the view and watching the wildlife from the beautiful screened in porch. It accommodated our group of 5 (2 couples and one single adult) comfortably. There is no cell service here, if that's something that is important to you. It wasn't an issue for us. We were able to connect to the internet for wifi calling and texting. Would recommend.

Great place to make memories!

What an amazing place to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our family. The property was just as portrayed in the listing. It was clean and provided all that we needed. Check in and out were painless. Best of all was the host, Michael. He answered every question promptly and gave us lots of information about the area. We would definitely recommend it! Made wonderful memories there!

Good Lake House

Rented it out with a group of friends for 4th of July weekend. House is not massive but also not too small, its just the right size for a small group at a reasonable price. The dock is also nice. We enjoyed our stay and the deck with the mosquito netting is great that way you can enjoy the outdoors at night without getting massacred by the mosquitoes. They also provide you with a binder with instructions on what is where in the house and how to use certain features, so you don't fumble around the house like a stranger. Owner was easy to talk to and is reasonable if your transparent with him. He even gave us an earlier check-in and check-out time that was originally agreed, which was great. Would book again.

Best VRBO that I’ve stayed in

The place was exactly as described. Suoer clean. Owner is very friendly and went above and beyond the call to make my stay comfortable. Extremely quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Will likely stay again in the future.

Great location on lake

Lake Lanier getaway, easy and affordable

We booked Michael’s charming lake house for a group of family and friends and not only and a great time but the house had all that we needed. Plenty of space to spread out with 2 back porches (upstairs screened in for mosquito magnets like myself) and a porch downstairs by the grill. The bedrooms were also spacious. The dock was a short walk from the house also had a rooftop area to hang out. The town is just a few miles away so I frequented the shopping areas (outlets!) and restaurants. Really a great location, to have both the lake and the things to do in town so close. Thank you Michael, for making sure we were taken care of and your thorough information about the house including all the little touches that made it so charming. (the flameless candles were nice in the evenings)

Easy Choice

We have stayed here multiple times and will definitely be back. The hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need or want. The location could not be better. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, and yet in less than 10 minutes you are in the midst of everything. This property is perfect for any group from 1 to 12. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about either the property or the hosts. You will not be disappointed if you choose this property!

Very easy to find. Clean with all amenities necessary to meet your vacation needs. Easy to contact host. Access to pontoon and lake a plus if you have boating experience. Easy access to restaurants and grocery stores. Highly recommend this wonderful vacation destination!!

Dawsonville Lake House

We found the house and property to be just what we needed to have terrific family time. We felt at home there and it was so quiet and peaceful. The beds were comfortable and the layout fit our needs.

Great escape to the lake!

What a great couple of days at the lake! We were in town for a few days for a family golf weekend. House was very clean with a new front deck and new approach down to the boat house. Plenty of parking (we had 4 cars and two smaller SUVs). Ice-cold AC in all rooms. The house was very close to restaurants, outlet mall, golf courses (Chestatee and Hampton Golf Village), grocery stores, etc. Michael was a gracious host and very available for any questions we had before, during and after our stay. He made our trip very enjoyable and hassle free. We would definitely come back in the future.

Living on the lake and have enjoyed it so much that I felt strongly that others should also have the opportunity to experience this lifestyle. With this in mind, I purchased a nearby home from the original owners and upgraded key areas while leaving the lake charm intact in others.

On the lake but only minutes from civilization! Outlets and major grocery stores only 10 minutes away.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The country charm, along with nearby city amenities and shopping make this an ideal location. The "Crow's nest" covered balcony / nook allows for a chance to get away from city life, but you are still connected via the Wifi and Direct TV satellite provided. The screened porch is big enough for everyone to enjoy. The house has stained glass windows through out, cedar paneling through out and the tin ceiling from the old Capitol records building in Atlanta. Extras include a thermo-electric wine cooler, a George Foreman grill, coffee maker & electric tea kettle. Full set of dishes and silverware for 12. Microwave, Stove, Refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine & dryer. Central heat and A/C along with a Cast Iron Pot Bellied stove which can keep the entire house warm on those cold N. Georgia nights.

Fresh bedding with allergy protection covers on every mattress. Plenty of towels.
