MW, DW, W/D, 4 Cable TVs, DVD, WiFi/DSL *GAS GRILL*, POOL PRIVILEGES @ HOLIDAY INN, DOG FRIENDLY W/ PET FEE. NO CATS. No pets during Summer. NO SMOKING. BEDS: 3 Kings, Sleeper Sofa. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hacienda is in a great location with ready access to the beach and bike trails. The house is well laid out and worked great for our extended family. There is good outdoor space both on the ground level and the 2nd story deck, and space for everyone to spread out. The house was as described in the listing. We'd definitely recommend.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Hacienda. This property is managed by a professional real estate firm and they were very responsive and helpful during our stay.The property is showing some signs of age, and it's worth noting that one of the bedrooms only accesses the rest of the property through a Jack and Jill bathroom, or via an outdoor courtyard. This wasn't a big deal, and we liked all of the outdoor / courtyard accesses, but it was just a little surprising at first.Don't forget to bring extra essentials for the kitchen and bathroom if you've got more than a couple of nights' stay, or you'll end up paying an island premium to buy them at the one store on-island, or driving off-island. Then settle in and relax at the Hacienda!

Lovely time in Jekyll

Hacienda is a charming home. Near the beach, private, offers space and privacy. I would definitely stay there again!

What a lovely house. The floor plan is like two separate family areas joined by dining room, kitchen and family room. This was perfect for our family - grandparents, parents, and one year old. The one year old could not be heard by the grandparents if he woke up in the middle of the night, which made the parents relax. The beach access is so easy at the end of the street. We loved having the option of the bikes or beach gear. I hope we have the opportunity to stay at this wonderful house many more times. We now have cherished memories of our time in this unique house on our beloved Jekyll Island.

Fantastic home!

We very much enjoyed our week stay at 6 Bliss. Quite and comfortable with lots of room. Our three couples had privacy and yet ample room to gather together. Especially enjoyed the rooftop screened room.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is an absolute diamond among the jewels of Jekyll Island! This is the fifth residence I have had the pleasure to vacation in, and by far the very best. The courtyard is absolutely beautiful and sets you up for the pure pleasure and beauty of the inside of the home. Lovingly decorated and furnished, you can feel the love that has made this house a home to share.

Anniversary Trip

Overall it was a good stay. The house does need some attention. Some of the guardrails around the rooftop sitting area are rusted and separated from the hold down posts. There was some smear stains on the sitting couch and what looked like blood on the comforter on the master bed. Outside of that, it was a good house to stay in for the week.

November 2020 Stay

We loved our stay at La Hacienda. It’s a very charming home with all the amenities we needed. It was super clean upon arrival, the beds are comfy and the shower was great. Everything we needed was in the kitchen, the rooftop deck is cool and the grounds beautiful. Beach access is just one street over & there are handicap beach accesses at the public beach area. We loved our stay here!

Nice place

Really enjoyed my stay. Very nice and tranquil. Deer in backyard. Beautiful and would stay again. Hot water will scald if not careful. Extension cords in one of guest rooms may be a little sketchy.

Great house, excellent location a perfect place to stay for the week. Beginning of February may not be the best time year to visit but we had good weather. Spacious and Beach adjacent

We enjoyed staying here with our 3 dogs. Large showers, plentiful windows, and private setting. The boardwalk was washed out at the end of our road (this was disclosed in the listing stating beach access was at King St) and it was an easy walk 1 block over to the beach. Walking/biking path runs right by the house and covers most of the island. We loved our time on Jekyll and enjoyed our first VRBO experience with Jekyll Realty.

It is a lovely home. The location on the island is perfect. The location to the beach is superb. We biked. We golfed. We "hung out" in the Hacienda. We sat in the lookout in the evenings. It was a fabulous getaway!

Spacious property

Hacienda was a lovely place to stay. It is extremely convenient to everything on Jekyll Island, especially the bike route. Lots of space to move around, cook, relax. Quality cookware and appliances. Our bed was very comfortable and one of the showers was preferred. Back patio and grill were extremely useful and pleasant. The rooftop screen porch is just spectacular for a sunny warm morning. The neighborhood was very quiet and beach access just a few blocks away. The only thing we noticed was the uneven slate tiles at the courtyard entrance. It made walking a little dicey. Maybe it would be a good idea to be fill the gaps between the paver stones. Thanks for a great time. We would love to return to the Hacienda.

Family get away

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at the Haceinda. We loved the Spanish styling and layout of the house, loved the eclectic furnishings. I was familiar with the Island and the location of the house as expected was in a great central location. So happy we could bring our little dog.. Only downfall was it had roaches, dead and alive. Doors obviously not sealed well so even if spayed bugs could come in from over grown landscaping. We are from Fl so no stranger to bugs, might really turn someone off from northern climate. Think these issues easily corrected would make 5 star review .

Great house, no toilet paper

The house is great in it’s comfort and location. The kitchen is quite nice and the fridge and dishwasher were great. My only complaint is that there is ABSOLUTELY NO hand soap or toilet paper provided for a home with 3 bathrooms and up to 6 people who could stay there. I believe this to likely be the decision of the property manager and not the owner, but come on guys, this is not a big expense for you and something very essential and simple to give your renters especially since I can tell a great deal of time and attention has been paid toward making the home a place you would want to be in. We would still like to return to the home and island at a later date, but we sincerely hope that the management can find it in their hearts to “spare a square”.

Lovely interesting home, quiet neighborhood

A lovely older home with an interesting split layout and all on one level (except for the screened room on the roof accessed by an outside spiral staircase). The beach access was just half a block walk. The rental company was helpful and kept in contact, asking if there was anything that we needed.I guess all in all, I would give it more like a 4 *1/2 star rating because of the Flagstone walkway going through the courtyard to the main door. They really need to do some work on filling the spaces between the flagstone... it's a real ankle-turner. We had to be very careful and do an awkward stepping-stone type of walk.The hot water was very hot and the heat worked well, which was all nice a for chilly stay in December. Except, as in some older houses, not everything works, and that thing was the fireplace... but the rental company did try to have it fixed, but to no avail. I would stay again and also work with that agency again if/when we go back to lovely Jekyll Island.

Spring break at Jekyll Hacienda

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My son,his wife and 4yr old granddaughter met me at Jekyll Island Hacienda for a glorious week of spring break. We have done this before and keep coming back because it is so perfect for us.We were walking to the uncrowned quiet beach,seeing dolphins, finding sand dollars... We went to the playground by the put put,driftwood beach, touch tanks at Tidelands,the pool at Days Inn and walking around the old hotel among the beautiful trees. My granddaughter learned to fly a kite by herself,went in a pool for the first time,saw an alligator and went to an Irish pub. She recently learned to do an Irish jig but was disappointed when the Wee Pub had no Irish music. We enjoyed eating at Driftwood Bistro (played in their playground while waiting for our table),Tortuga Jacks and the Pantry and pizza from the pizza place. We are looking forward to going back and hopefully staying at Hacienda again.
