St. Marys Mermaid Cove is a beautiful townhome property in downtown St. Marys, GA. It includes 2 bedrooms (1 bedroom with a queen sized bed and the other bedroom includes a full sized bed), 2.5 bathrooms, and lovely, new coastal furnishings throughout. Each bedroom has a flat screen TV, the living room includes a 55" flatscreen with cable access to over 200 channels, and property includes WIFI access. This property includes everything you need except your clothes (i.e. coffee maker, washer/dryer, new BBQ grill that uses coal OR propane, etc.)

Property also includes a private deck where you can grill your catch of the day after spending the day out on the water. 2 bikes are available to access if needed (1 bike for an adult male and 1 bike for an adult female). St Marys is a golf cart community and by booking this listing, it also provides you access to owner's golf cart.

St. Marys Mermaid Cove is located in the downtown historic district across from the St. Marys River waterfront and is conveniently walkable to restaurants, bars, parks, and a marsh walk. Two golf courses are also local and accessible to the public (Trident Lakes and Laurel Island) for anyone interested in golfing while visiting.

St. Marys is the gateway to Cumberland Island, Georgia's National Seashore. The Cumberland Island ferry provides trips daily to the island and this service is also walkable from the property.

Wonderful home away from home

This was our 3rd time staying at Chelsea Place for 2 months. Randy and Juane are great hosts and very attentive to any needs. Spacious, clean, lovely decorated, and comfortable. We look forward to our stay in 2027!

Perfect little stay!

Visiting St Mary's for the first time and couldn't have been happier with our stay, although we do wish it was longer! The town is so cute and we will definitely be making a trip back to visit again and also check out Cumberland Island! The townhouse was very cute, comfortable, and had everything we needed and more. Super nice to have use of the golf cart as well!! Highly recommend booking your stay in St Mary's here, we will be back !

Long weekend

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here, the house is awesome! Fully furnished, golf cart to use, and great location to everything. The ownere are very sweet.

Marvelous place

Mermaid Cove is an extraordinary cottage in the perfect location. Walking distance to everything downtown - restaurants, night life, riverfront, historic sites, etc. The cottage is remarkably decorated and those staying want for nothing. The owners have thought of everything. We will definitely come back.

The Mermaid Cove Vacation

Charming Mermaid Cove Escape My husband and I recently stayed at this delightful vacation rental in the quiet town of St. Mary's. Just a short walk to the restaurants and stores in town, this cozy 2-bedroom townhouse offered the perfect blend of relaxation and charm. The interior was tastefully decorated with a mermaid theme, featuring comfortable furnishings and all the amenities we needed for our week-long stay. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare meals easily, though we also enjoyed sampling the local restaurants in town. (Locals Dockside, Seagulls, and Riverside Cafe are a must!) The porch was perfect in the mornings for sipping coffee. This rental was a short walk to the riverwalk which was delightful in the evenings to watch the sunset. The area was ideal for our dogs, who loved exploring the space in the golf cart. St. Mary's itself is a hidden gem - a small, friendly community with a many wonderful restaurants and shops. We appreciated being away from the busier tourist areas while still having easy access to attractions. The drive to Amelia Island was approximately 35 minutes. Overall, this rental provided excellent value and a memorable getaway. We will definitely return again. 5/5 stars

Lovely place.

This place was very well stocked for our 3 month stay. I love to cook and the kitchen was the best! Everything I needed even a crockpot. The town is lovely with such nice people.The owners were right there whenever I needed something.

Annual trip to St. Marys

We go to St. Marys every year for about 7 years now and this was the first time in this condo, it was great! Very clean, overly stocked with anything you would need, came with a golf cart, and we were able to take the dog!!! We will definitely be back!!

I gave this place an excellent rating because it is EXCELLENT! It was very clean, very well stocked, and is in an excellent location. The beds are very comfortable and the furnishings are very stylish and in excellent condition.The rental included a golf cart and two bikes to explore the historic district. I hope to be a more frequent visitor to this townhome.

Perfect!

We could not have asked for a nicer, spacious and cleaner house to stay in. The location was awesome. So close to everything! The river and ferry dock were across the street as well as the shops and downtown restaurants were within easy walking distance. The owners were so nice and accommodating! Could not have asked for a better place. We will be back!

Perfect

We loved this rental. It was clean and the location could not have been any better. Less than a quarter of a mile from the water front park and all the restaurants and shops. The owners have thought of everything you’ll need and more. Beautifully decorated for that beach vibe. Bicycles, golf cart, sunscreen and so much more. It was a wonderful stay and will not hesitate to stay here again.

What a wonderful place!!

Cozy Cumberland

The unit was clean. bright and cozy. The layout was perfect for a family or two couples. Each upstairs bedroom was spacious and had its own bathroom with showers. You can walk to downtown and the water front but with the rental we enjoyed the owners golf cart. Why walk in the GA heat when you can ride in St. Mary’s style!?! We were in St. Mary’s to visit family and loved our stay!

Overall nice place to stay

Some of the floors were creaky in the master bedroom and the master bedroom dresser made noises as you walked across the floor. The pots in the cabinet were scratched up, so we had to ask for more, which Randy happily gave to us. On a positive note, Randy was very nice. He came to greet us and speak with us. The home had everything stocked with laundry essentials, toiletries, some grocery items, and a beautiful set of dishes in the cabinet. The bicycles provided were aged, but they served the purpose. I requested a picture of them before we arrived, but never received it. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay here. Juane was nice to offer us a deal on an additional two day stay, which made us happy.

Always A Pleasure Staying at Mermaid Cove

We've enjoyed our stays at Mermaid Cove! The owners are very pleasant, outgoing people who are very friendly and helpful. It's always clean, comfortable and in a great location. We would recommend Mermaid Cove to anyone, and twice on Sunday!

Home away from home

We truly enjoyed our stay in the townhome in St. Marys. Wonderful location near downtown and quiet neighborhood. The home was roomy, clean, and comfy. The use of the bicycles and golf cart were an extra bonus. Loved sitting on the front porch listening to the birds or walking across the street to the marshwalk to see the sunsets. Randy and Juane are great landlords who were always available to help in any way. We look forward to our stay again in 2025!

Perfect!

Wow! This has to be one of the best places my spouse and I have been to! I normally always pack coffee and cleaning products because you just never know and they had a little of everything to help get our vacation started! The whole mermaid theme was was cute and I loved it all and was super helpful to have that half bath on the ground floor for his grandpa, because he doesn’t move as well so it was a great place and easy for him! Overall just so amazing!
