This unit was perfect for us, we were out all day and needed somewhere to relax in the evening. Kaunakakai is warm but the unit gets a nice ocean breeze. With the fans on and louvres open it was fine. It was quiet with the exception of footsteps above us but that was a very small concern. The kitchen was well stocked and it was nice to be able to throw a load of laundry in at the laundry room. It was a very quick trip to town for provisions, a night out at Paddlers and breakfast at Kanemitsus. We hope to visit again soon!

Comfortable place; nice community

Our experience was mainly positive. Bed was comfortable and TV and fans all worked well. The complimentary gas grills were a bonus since the island is lacking a decent restaurant. Met plenty of friendly people there. Our only issue was with pests in the unit. We killed several “Palmetto” bugs (that’s what we call them in Florida; they are giant roaches!) and also spotted a mouse scurrying through the kitchen. Some exterminator attention was needed here!

Great Spot and Unit

Unit was great, convenient, and in close proximity to things. Nothing fancy, but everything you needed to have a great stay. We definitely had some simple touches like shampoo/conditioner that some of our other friends in other units didn't have the basics provided.

Moloka'i 2025

Our stay was awesome. Check-in and out instructions were easy and thorough. Brandi responded quickly and was also very accommodating. The condo was itself was exactly what we needed, clean, spacious, convenient, located right in front of the pool. We will be renting with Brandi again for future stays. Mahalo!

Beautiful MOLOKAI

We loved our unit we have stayed atop the shores few times and this unit fully stocked with everything to make our stay comfortable. Chairs snorkel gear cooler and plenty dishes and towels . We had great time

Very cozy

I loved the amenities. There is a mandatory 30 check in fee, just to give a warning. Everything was clean and nice. Plenty of parking. Loved the living room, all furniture was comfortable and relaxing.

It had everything. Manager was thoughtful to have the fridge with drinks, bread and some veggies. There was plenty of towels, dishes and toilet paper.

Screen door to patio had a large hole allowing flies into the house. Fan and light in bedroom would turn on and off randomly at night. Then bedroom fan quit working altogether. Window shade in living room was missing. The other shade would not retract. Shower floor was dangerously slippery. Oven was not usable as prior guests had spilled causing it to smoke.

This unit really served our needs! It was very clean and well-equipped. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed, including coffee and tea. There were big beach towels, very nice beach chairs, a cooler, and snorkel gear. There was also a folding crib. The bed is very comfortable. The resort appears to be older, but is well maintained. The grounds are very nice, there were two Weber gas grills, and even 3 Weber kettles. The pool was very clean. The coin laundry was about 10 steps from our door. The only negative we had was one missing shade on the patio door. Being on ground level meant we had no privacy. The other shade was electric, and since everything else is maintained so well, we assumed a new one is on order. The beach is very small but easy to access. We didn't really have a view other than a very small piece at an angle. Not really a sit on the beach while the kids play in the water kind of place. But Molokai is beautiful! Make sure you get to both ends of the island. They are so different!

Unfortunately, it was damaged by a previous guest, but I’m happy to inform you that a new had been shipped over and installation is tomorrow. We are always striving to make the experience even better and busy with the bathroom shower, a complete remodel, new plumbing, tile, seat, glass slider door, Thank you for sharing your insights about the island, too! Molokai Shores

Building dates back to the 70s. Our unit did not appear to have had any updates other than ceiling fans that appeared to have been owner installed. Sliding door and screen door appeared to be original equipment which were in need of maintenance or replacement. Pleasant grounds with good beach access and 1 mile from town.

The grounds were well kept. The couch was very comfortable, internet worked well, the bed was comfortable, there were additional ammenities we enjoyed such as a ice chest we took to the beach, mask snorkel and fins, the fins were for smaller sizes, we used the washer and dryer that was on the property they were all newer machines and worked very well the regular sized washers were 2.50 a load and the dryers were .25 for 5 min and 30 min did the job. There were pleny of towels with beach towels as well. The kitchen was adequately stocked. The only negatives we experienced were the fold out couch bed was not very comfortable, but lets be honest they seldom are, and for some reason the pool started turning green and they drained it. So it was unavailable the last 2 days

Perfect Molokai Location

This was our second trip to Molokai and first stay in this condo. We hope to come back and would book this same unit again. The condo was perfect, just as pictured, and with absolutely everything needed to make our stay comfortable and convenient. Super well-supplied condo with very friendly and helpful management. Eight days went quickly. We loved the ground floor with easy access to the pool and beautiful grounds. We cooked several nights on the provided grills. We used the beach chairs and ice chest, packing lunches for the beach. I cannot think of a single thing that would need to be changed here. That said, this is Molokai, not Maui and not Oahu. if you need luxury and fancy resort services, Molokai may not be for you. If relaxation, friendliness, and a slower pace, all on an exceptionally beautiful and remote-feeling island is what you’re after, then this place would be hard to top. We had most beaches all to ourselves. We loved our completely stress-free vacation. Thank you! - April 2024.
