We’re very sorry that the bed coverings didn’t meet your expectations and that communication before your arrival was unclear — we completely understand how frustrating that must have been. Your points about clearer instructions for providing information and accessing the keys are well taken, and we’ll be updating our process and emails to make things much more straightforward for future guests. We appreciate your patience and are glad a neighbor was able to help. We hope despite these issues, you were able to enjoy your stay, and we’d welcome the opportunity to host you again with a smoother check-in experience.

We appreciate all guest feedback, but Greg’s review is misleading and omits important context. From the moment he reported reduced hot water pressure, we responded promptly—requesting a video, consulting the building manager, and arranging a qualified plumber. When the first diagnosis pointed to a building-related issue, we still went ahead and sent a second plumber at our own expense, even getting them to return on Saturday to avoid further delays. Ultimately, we replaced the faulty valve once it became clear that was the source of the issue—well beyond what many hosts would do. Despite our efforts, Greg remained confrontational, made repeated threats, and ultimately initiated a chargeback with his bank after the issue was resolved. It’s disheartening when you go the extra yard for a guest, only to have it thrown back in your face. We stand by how we handled the situation and, given the nature of this experience, Greg will not be welcomed back to any of our properties in the future.
