Location, location! This beautiful, updated 2-bedroom turn-of-the-century house is located in downtown Colorado Springs with excellent access to I-25 and near abundant parks, shopping, and dining establishments. SODO restaurant row is a 2-block walk, Weidner Field Stadium is 2 blocks, the US Olympic Museum is 4 blocks, and the free shuttle is 2 blocks.

There is a fully fenced yard, hardwood floors, and ceramic tile. The fully equipped kitchen is stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, spices, and other food and cooking items. For your convenience, you will find toiletries in the bathroom, including soap, shampoo, conditioner, Q-tips, a hairdryer, etc. There are also additional linens, towels, and blankets. The backyard has a gas grill and outdoor seating for barbecues.

The immediate neighborhood is friendly and consists of other homeowners. Shugga's, a Seattle-style coffee/wine bar, is 1 block east, and then 1- 1/2 blocks further are The Coffee Exchange, Streetcar 520, Atomic Cowboy, Dos Santos, and Coati, which is a new gathering place with many restaurants and breweries all under one roof. The Warehouse Restaurant and Gallery, a long-time local favorite, is just three blocks north.
Also nearby are the Pike Peak Center (7 blocks), Colorado College, Fine Arts Center, National Firefighters Memorial, and plenty of restaurants, breweries, and retail shops.
The city has plenty of bike and scooter rental stations nearby, and easy to access our miles and miles of bike lanes!

Just minutes away are the 5-star Broadmoor Resort, Garden of the Gods, Helen Hunt Falls, Air Force Academy, Olympic Training Center, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs, and the Colorado Springs Airport.

This updated, remodeled Victorian house will give you the comfort of your own home with the convenience of being located in the center of EVERYTHING Colorado has to offer and the activities you are seeking to enjoy.

Dogs are welcome with an additional $75 pet fee per pet, and the yard is fully fenced. Sorry, although I love them, I can not accept cats as my husband is highly allergic.

Just perfect! Such a thoughtful Host. So well equipped, everything you need is in this bnb. An amazing location to walk to local bars and restaurants. Very well kept lawn for a dog friendly accommodation. The host is very accommodating to request. Overall a great stay!

The property description was just as described and the location was great as it was within walking distance to quite a few dining establishments. Our stay was during the 4th of July holiday and the neighborhood was still fairly peaceful even during the festivities being held at Weidner Field.

The kitchen has plenty of room to prepare most any meal, plus all the pots/pans and accessories needed. The full sized frig makes keeping food and/or leftovers easy. The sofa and reading chair are quite comfortable. The glassed in front porch is a marvelous place for reading. Hard to beat the location so near downtown. Heating and air conditioning work quite well. The hostess is top notch. We will be back!

Exceptional Stay

Thoughtfully and beautifully curated space. The fenced-in yard is lovely and offers a secure area for pets and for relaxing with family. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well supplied with cookware and utensils. We appreciated the recommended local restaurants listed on the chalk board, and that we were within walking distance of an excellent grocery store. Also, we were so happy we could bring my daughter's dog with us. He was quite happy there.

Lori has been a great host. She is very responsive to all my questions and thoughtful…made sure to let us know where to park our car in case the weather called for hail.We loved the house! Walk to downtown

Older home nicely refurbished. Convenient location to downtown. Great host. Comfortably fits 2 adults and two others in twin beds.(we only had 3) One bathroom, furnished kitchen, and nice outdoor seating area. Area is developing.

Charming home in a quiet, walkable location

We had a great stay at this cozy home full of character. The yard was beautiful, and the neighborhood was peaceful—aside from the occasional train, which honestly added a bit of charm and wasn’t disruptive at all. One of the best parts was being within walking distance of everything downtown. Plus, Garden of the Gods and other local attractions were just a short drive away. It’s a fantastic spot for anyone looking to stay in Colorado Springs. Highly recommend!

Quiet spot just steps away from downtown.

I have been a frequent travel to Colorado Springs as my daughter attended CC. This spot was perfect for me and my nephew to visit. The listing captures the place perfectly. The property is well groomed and maintained. The owner was very communicative throughout my time. Best of all, this is near some great spots downtown that made things easy. I would highly recommend staying here!

Me and my daughter stayed for three nights and we were extremely pleased with everything. The house was clean and very functional. There is even a carport at the back of the property which worked well when a thunderstorm blew with large hail blew in one evening. Washer and dryer combo worked well without issues. The house is also nice and cold.

This lovely cottage has charm with a capital C. The pictures don't begin to show how much of the vintage is still there. Lori was so responsive to any questions and supplying us with everything we needed for easy check-in. As a couple of seniors we appreciated the one floor layout and the easy walk-in shower. Although we didn't cook a meal the kitchen was well stocked and great for breakfast and snacks. Air conditioning worked well and was easy for us to adjust to our liking. We did use the washer and dryer and were glad to have it. The neighborhood was quiet and close to many of the things we were interested in. If we return to the area we would stay here again.

We LOVED our stay! The property was well maintained and beautiful. It was perfect for our family of 4. I loved the twin beds because our kids didn’t have to share a bed! So handy! The location was perfect for anywhere you wanted to go visit. Very close to attractions such a Manitou/Pikes Peak/ Garden of the Gods etc. Lori was a dream to work with! I bought this property as my primary residence in 2004. Fairly new to Colorado Springs I wanted to be downtown close to all the amenities: shopping, restaurants, recreational activites and cultural events. I enjoyed living here so much that when relocated I thought it would make a great place for visitors to the Springs and put it on VRBO. I frequently get repeat guests and the house is ideal for couples or small families looking for a comfortable, affordable, and convenient place to enjoy their vacation and extended stays.

Centrally located only 3 blocks from the Interstate 25. Two blocks from Tejon Street- Colorado Springs main downtown street. Very close to Colorado College, Fine Arts Center, Convention and Visitors Bureau, shops, restaurants, night clubs.
