Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Great beach getaway

The property was great! 3 spacious bedrooms, 3 baths and a sleeper sofa. The balconies were perfect!

Family time

The condo itself was great, lots of room. The parking was a problem and only two elevators for the whole building . It was centrally located! Pool was nice.

Great location some drawbacks though

Loved how close it was to the beach and the parking garage. Main drawbacks were the beds were very squeaky and the sliding door to the large back patio kept getting stuck and it was a large building with ALOT of rooms and only 2 elevators that didn’t have working A/C.

Best condo layout on the beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to PCB. The 3 bedroom 3 bath unit was perfect. Stunning views from the living room and both masters. The end balcony provides views of the gulf as well as down the strip. It was great to have such a panoramic view. Having a parking deck under the building is way more convenient than walking across the street. Perfect for people traveling with elderly. Sterling Reef is a fantastic complex in a great location. We will definitely stay here again.

Unexpected

This Condo needs a DEEP CLEANING. ALL Floors were very dirty; fans were dirty and we had to clean them before we could turn them on; ceiling in some rooms, above the fans, were dirty; all baseboards need a good cleaning; one TV was non-working and finally got another one. Layout was fine and we made it all work, but were disappointed that the place was not really clean.

Beautiful 3 bed, 3 bath Condo!

Condo was spacious and had all the comforts of home. This is our 3rd year at Sterling Reef, all in different condos. This unit was not as clean as the others. The rental company did not have all the check-in info emailed to me until I requested it twice. Once in the condo, we did not have the welcome packet with the parking passes and wristbands. Had to text several times, then a phone call to finally get them delivered.

Needs attention

Multiple issues with unit. Sent email describing issues and was told they would be addressed but wasn't. Very unsatisfied with cost vs stay. Won't be staying here or using rental company that manages this property ever again.

Beautiful views, very nice place to stay

The views are fantastic. The pictures do not do the place justice. You can see up and down the whole beach, and we were able to see groups of stingrays swimming up and down the beach one evening. The beach is clean, and well kept. Activities are easy to sign up for, with a hut right on the beach, and the pool is very nice. We visited in March, during spring break, and we were surprised how quiet the beach was. It was really relaxing, and none of the restaurants we visited were crowded. We were very very happy overall during our stay. There were some minor maintenance issues, such as one of the patio doors sticking a bit, but we didn't bother to call about it, because we worked around the problem. I'd guess that these are things that are typically take care of right before the busy season starts. This would honestly be a 5 star review if not for a few little things that really didn't affect our enjoyment of the property, so let's call it 4.9 stars!

Nice condo but needs a good cleaning

This condo is a nice condo but could use a really good cleaning. We couldn't walk on the floors with no shoes on because our feet turned black. The refrigerator ice maker didn't work nor did the water dispenser work on the fridge door. My daughter in law called within the first 30 minutes of arriving and was told that maintenance would get back with us but we never heard from anyone.

Disappointed

I have been vacationing in or around PCB for the last 25 years. NEVER once, in 25 years have I ever had to immediately go purchase cleaning supplies to clean the condo because it was so nasty, until I walked into this unit. I wish this review would let me post pics. Urine all around base of master toilet, handle to balcony door ripped completely off, outlet cover ripped off the wall, microwave looked as if someone took a baseball bat to it, crumbs and old food on the floor of food pantry, mold and hair in the shower, fist-sized hole in the sheetrock of one of the bathrooms, bathroom door handles broken to where you couldn't close the door all the way, and master bathroom missing the shower curtain, so we couldn't use that shower at all. I immediately took pics and emailed maintenance/housecleaning as soon as we arrived. They sent housekeeping within an hour, but she just looked at us and asked us what she wanted us to have her re-clean. Really? Maintenance came several days later and fixed 2 things. We never got the shower curtain that I told housekeeping was a priority, therefore, having the 3rd bathroom was useless. I also had to purchase 2 candles and a bottle of air freshener because the entire unit smelled musty and of stale cigarette smoke. The view was spectacular. We spent every evening on the over-sized balcony. We will stay at this resort again, but CERTAINLY NOT this unit!!

Won’t stay again…

The room was nice but the elevator issue was absolutely ridiculous!! We had to walk up 18 flights of stairs more than once just to get too our room! Only one elevator worked and with the amount of people staying in the same resort it was at times a 2 hour wait just to get on. Which is unacceptable when like most people take chairs and coolers to the beach so they don’t have to go up and down the there rooms. They kept telling us that is going to be fixed tomorrow and we were there 4 days and nothing happened. Not going to recommend this place to stay!!!

Awesome place to stay!

The condo itself was amazing! There’s 7 of us and we had plenty of room. My only issue was with pots and pans in the kitchen. It could use some new pots and pans. The location is great also. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice place to stay. Incredible view!

Nice place to stay with the basics. Incredible view on 18th floor made the trip worth while. Some miscommunication and there was not a working WiFi password for the entire 5 days we were there. But it was on the beach and state parks close by and we enjoyed our trip otherwise. Somethings broken when we arrived so hopefully it will be resolved when the next guest arrives.

No Frills Stay

If you're looking for a place to just shower and sleep, this place is for you. The basics are what you get with this condo. Upon check-in we noticed there were no towels in the condo but a call with property management and towels were delivered within 20 mins. Everything seemed clean with the exception of the floors. They were swept but after being barefoot for a bit, I would say they haven't been mopped in awhile. Owners should invest in new beds as all of the beds in the condo were heavily used and frames worn/squeaky. Not comfortable at all. Toaster didn't really work unless burnt is your favorite, the blender was missing the rubber gasket piece so it leaked when we used it. I would say the whole condo hasn't seen anything new in a very long time and the owners are squeezing every last bit of life out of it all. Parking would have been a challenge if it was during peak season; the spots were only large enough for compact cars. Driving a truck had us unintentionally using 2 spots to fit. Overall the property and surrounding beach area were mostly clean and the property management company was easy to deal with. Having all of the access codes and condo information on the app was the best part of the stay.

awesome location

the only reason this property didnt get 5 stars is due to a few minor details like a sticking balcony door, wifi didnt work and a broken light switch. Absolutely stunning views and perfect location for activities. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone.

Great Condo

The condo was great and the views were amazing, however there were issues. Several people commented about the door issues before we rented. The owner should just go ahead and replace it. It was REALLY hard to open. The microwave is cracked. The dishwasher is missing the wheels on the front so the rack is difficult to move and load. We couldn't log into the WiFi, & the number provided didn't help. They gave us another number to call & that didn't help either. I would state the 24-hour assistance assurance is not true. We enjoyed it nonetheless because of the location, the views and the amazing family & friends we were able to share it with.
