Lakehouse - Water-taxi to Queenstown!

The ski-fields are beckoning! A short drive to the base of Remarkables Ski field, and the perfect apres-ski retreat to come home to. With the warmth of a woodfire and mesmerising views across Lake Wakatipu, either relax in style, or catch one of the frequent water-taxi across to central Queenstown!

Comfortably accommodating up to six guests, The Lakehouse offers spacious open-plan living with large glass sliders onto the deck, a fully equipped kitchen and three good sized bedrooms. Complimentary Wi-Fi and a smart TV will keep you entertained on rainy days, or choose from a selection of reading material and cosy up next to the wood burner.

Configured over three levels, the master bedroom with ensuite is on the top floor, offering a king bed with beautiful mountain and lake views from a private balcony. Bedroom two on the mezzanine level offers a queen bed with equally gorgeous views. Bedroom three on the lower level offers a queen bed with garden views. A glass slider opening out onto a deck leading into the private garden.

Family bathroom and laundry are on the lower level which leads into the open plan living, kitchen and dining room. All bedrooms are fitted with electric wall heaters. A night-store heater warms the lower-level passage way, and a wood burner and heatpump in the open plan living. During the warmer months there is an air conditioner in the living area, a newly installed air conditioner in the master bedroom, and free-standing fans for bedrooms 2 and 3.

Glorious summer evenings call for alfresco dining, so fire up the BBQ and watch the sky turn pink. The shimmering waters of Lake Wakatipu will delight you.

Guest Access
Garage parking is available for one sedan vehicle only (IE not suitable for a higher vehicle or vehicles with roofracks) Driveway parking can accomodate an additional two vehicles

Other things to note
Security camera onsite pointing down the driveway (turned off during guest bookings)
In the event of heavy snow or ice, snow chains may be required to access the driveway.
