Relaxing stay

Loved the property specifically the living area on the third floor. Plenty of parking and a great location near the beach and multiple shops. Would highly recommend

The property was nice, comfy beds , close to the beach, fit our family and friends well. The pool was small but a great add on feature however there is a lot of trees which made for no sun on the pool so it was a bit chilly. The house was clean. The host did get back to us when we had questions. We only had one issue with ants in the kitchen however the host did get an exterminator out the very next day! Would recommend to others

Family Vacay

Location was fantastic - walking distance to beach and shops within quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space for the family to relax. The magnetic board games on the wall were a fun touch in the game area! Only con was the cleanliness - overflowing outside trash bins covered in flies and the front door covered in spider webs greeted us upon arrival, etc.

Regarding the trash bins, we’d like to share that each property follows a scheduled trash relief day set by the city. For this particular home, pickups occur on Wednesdays and Saturdays. After receiving your feedback, we promptly dispatched a technician to inspect the area and confirmed that the bins were not full at that time. We also noted that no cleanliness concerns were reported during your stay, but we always appreciate guest input to help us improve the experience for future visitors. Perfect Vacation home

Flounders Cove was amazing, Perfect location, the personal pool and hot tub really made it easy with the kids. Home had all the essentials! Access to local lake and ocean was a few minutes walk. Definitely coming back in the future!

Great OBX Vacation

We had an enjoyable stay. Renting bikes and carts were perfect for taking our beach supplies to the beach for the three minute bike ride. Would have been beneficial to have a map of the neighborhood with the various beach access points along with where bike racks are available at the beach.

Great beach getaway!

We had an amazing experience! It was clean and in a great area. It was a short walk to the beach but also had plenty of space for us to hang out in the house, pool or hot tub! We all really loved it! The only thing I’m not going to miss is all the stairs! Haha

Fam vacay

Loved the house snd location. There was so much for the kids to fo. My only criticism would be tyst the pool snd equipment was not properly cleaned, but other that that it was a good time.

The property looked even better than the photos! We had to make a literally last minute reservation because unfortunately another OBX Corolla property unfairly (we contest) canceled our reservation as e were arriving. We were so thrilled and relieved to find a better, cheaper, more cooperative property. We had a wonderful and relaxing vacation. Pool was small, but unexpected and cute. Hot tub was enjoyed! Rooms were all clean and well decorated. Minor problem with the trundle bed frame broken upon arrival, which meant that some of us slept on couches. Also, smoke alarm battery was low, so went off in the middle of the night. A violent and freak thunderstorm right over us on the last night meant for an unexpectedly wet and wild last sundown on the beach, a flooded pool and grounds. But, such is how lasting memories are made. 5 stars; would definitely stay again!
