Well equipped getaway

This house has everything you could need! We stayed a long weekend with another family and there was plenty of room and things to do. I would recommend and hope to stay again.

Great time at the Bear House

We had a lovely time at the house. We enjoyed sledding and shoeing in the backyard and playing fooseball and pool indoors. We loved having our dog with us.

We enjoyed our stay in this clean, comfortable home. The kitchen was more well-stocked than most places, and there were plenty of clean towels and linens. There is old, dingy carpet throughout and the sofas are dated, but it still felt clean and everything was comfortable. There was plenty of space, our kids had fun with the foosball table, and the beds were nice. The location is great if you are skiing at Tahoe Donner. We were grateful for the garage space since it snowed a lot while we were there. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved the house! Tons of games (pool, ping pong, foosball, cards) fully stocked kitchen. Loved the countertops and layout with master and lounge on one level with bedroom for kids and bathroom below. Comfortable beds and bedding/towels. Great master shower with good pressure and pretty newer tile. Would love a deep clean/dusting of fixtures up high and just in general. But super comfortable stay, I would definitely recommend and book it again.

Christmas Holiday

We stayed at the “Bear” house while we were visiting my daughter and her family who live in Tahoe Donner for Christmas. It was a very convenient location for us since she lives around the corner! The stay was very nice and any questions requests we had were promptly addressed by the property manager.

Great stay

Overall it was a great stay in a terrific location. Great neighborhood. House is nicely stocked. Weather was unseasonably cold so we stayed in quite a bit. The games had many missing pieces making them difficult to play/enjoy.

Our cabin getaway

We totally enjoyed our stay at this cabin. There was a ping pong table (which we loved) plus a foosball table that we used quite a bit. The cabin was clean and spacious with lots of light. The cabin is located close to Truckee shopping, bike trails and Donner Lake. We would definitely come back again!

Cozy Mountain Neighborhood

This house is in a great location. It is true to its pictures. The property host was communicative both before, arrival and departure. We never had any issue but it was nice to know there was someone attending if we needed it. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Kid friendly

Two bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs ideal for kids. Primary bedroom comfortable. En suite bathroom small for two people. Kitchen large and generous counter space. Living room is spacious. Convenient location to downtown Truckee and nearby such as markets, coffee shops, other food businesses. All within 10 - 15 minutes from rental.

Perfect short getaway

My family enjoyed our stay at this home. It was a cozy home with plenty of space for everyone. The kids enjoyed the foosball table and the other games provided. The structure of the home is beautiful inside, yet the living room furniture is a bit outdated. The rooms/beds were comfortable and the house stayed warm with the many space heaters provided in addition to the central heating. We enjoyed the fact that we didn't have to drive to the Snow Park to play in the snow when there was ample space in the back yard for the kids to play. Access through the garage was great and we ended up using this to exit out of the front of the house as well at different times as the front steps were icy. Our only complaint would be that the televisions were difficult to operate and worked sporadically. Otherwise everything was great and we would stay here again.

Spacious house that was perfect for our family. Our kids loved all the games that were available. There were plenty of fans to help keep the house comfortable in the summer heat without AC. Check-in/out process was very easy and host communicated well by text. WiFi was sporadic at times.

Comfy cabin with kids-friendly amenities

We had 2 families at the cabin (4 adults, 3 kids) and the cabin was the perfect size for us. We went in Feb so we had fresh snow on the 2 balconies and we could watch our kids play outside while we stayed inside. There’s a whole area in the back for snowshoeing (included!) and snow play as well. The common area had an open layout for hanging out and a big dining table for meals and games. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels for everyone. Bonus—your driveway and the main road gets plowed around 10-11am when it’s snowing. Highly recommend!!
