The Taverna Beach House, Kooringal, Moreton Island

Nestled away in the small settlement of Kooringal at the southern tip of stunning Moreton Island, this home is just a short stroll from the beach and the world-renowned Gutter Bar. Explore nearby shores with their turquoise waters and vibrant marine life, spot dolphins in Days Gutter, watch whales migrate north or south along Eastern Beach during the season, or simply relax and listen to the birds singing throughout the day.

Our Beach House features:

3 bedrooms, all with ceiling fans so that you can sleep comfortably in the summer.
Additional 2 king single bunk beds in lounge area.
Total of 8 persons sleeping in 6 beds.
Fully equiped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and a large fridge/freezer.
Outdoor BBQ area
Outdoor bath deck and showers
Abundant kitchen garden for all to harverst & enjoy
Seperate toilet and indoor bathroom. (note there is only one toilet at the property)
Fire Pit and Indoor Fire for the cooler months (must bring your own firewood)

The property is off the grid and runs completely off solar power, tank water and has a septic waste system. We ask that guests be mindful of power and water usage.
