Pet friendly place so close to the beach. When the listing and water tower says home of the best sunsets BELIEVE! Amazingly beautiful sunsets. Loved the beach, plenty of space to spread out , not crowded at all.

This place was perfect location, weather and views. Gary our host was amazing, things were missing, we contacted him. He had them there within hours. It’s not fancy but it’s exactly what we wanted for our vacation. We loved it! Going to booking next year.

I have been renting this cottage over the 4th of July week for many years now, and I was so excited to find out there is some new management involved helping to make some positive changes; New laminate flooring throughout, new window A/C units, new faucets on the sink and shower, and lots of yard cleanup in progress! As always the cottage is just perfect for two, whether we go out or eat in and has always met our needs. I have loved my stays over the years because of the location, the deck, the sunsets, the early morning dolphins and osprey to watch, but I could also see how the list of needed TLC grew steadily each year. The host, Gary, has aways been easy to communicate with, and kind and helpful. I hope with this new hands on assistance making upgrades he can keep hosting for years to come. I know I will be there!

Overall we enjoyed our extended weekend stay at this cottage with our 3 labs.Pros: View from the deck was amazing right across the street from the beach and bay, nice fenced in yard for our dogs to stay contained and be able to run and play a bit, and accommodations fit for what we needed. Clean linens and bath towels were provided, kitchen was equipped nicely, trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels were provided, living room with plenty of seating and cable large screen tv, WiFi available, Cons: I would have preferred a bit more privacy from the entry side street door and windows, as well as the large windows in the living area (one window AC unit so one long blind going across left the bottom of other window visible) and the spare bedroom (broken mini blind). We couldn’t get the ceiling fan to work in the living room so the kitchen and bathroom remained warm since it was sunny most every day, several of the outdoor chairs were broken or in bad disrepair, and the grills were pushed into the weeds in the rear of the yard and looked very dirty and rusty, so we cooked in the cast iron skillets on the gas stove inside instead, which worked great for us anyway.

Location town and Beach were absolutely amazing

We we're a little bit tight with five of us but the pros definitely far outweigh the cons. We had a beautiful family vacation

HI Barbara, I am glad you enjoyed the finer things in life. Many guests arrive with a magnifying glass to discover a spot that needs painting and never see the sunsets and jumping dolphins. Amazing house.

Owner Gary was so friendly and helpful. Location is absolutely perfect to bay. Very quite if your looking for quite retreat this is the place. Sunsets were amazing. Great neighborhood for families and small children.

Excellent location

A simple 2 bdr house right across a nice and quiet beach. The deck provides excellent views of the ocean. A bike, sand toys and kayak is provided. The house and beach are pet friendly..

Stay in Cape May

We had a wonderful stay in Cape May! The home was perfect for what we needed: full stove (gas burners - bonus!), full size fridge, grill, fire pit, yard for dogs to run, beautiful view of the water from the home. We had a small issue with the a/c unit and we were able to fix it and the renter refunded us some money which definitely wasn’t expected, and we were very thankful! Also, we had only positive interactions with the owners and the locals were very friendly.

Waterview and Sunsets

The property met all the hype- everything they said/ people wrote in their review was accurate. We were happy/ and our dogs got to run around in a fenced-in yard... It was a pleasant stay.

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!

We loved every minute of our short stay here. The view was just as pictured. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog. The biking was lovely. The beach was secluded yet provided wonderful ambiance. It was a short drive to Cape May Winery which was a treat! Hopefully we will return some day ~ Thank you!

Great Location

We had a wonderful time (although it rained all weekend). Location is ideal and property is well kept. Gary is very responsive and available if needed. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming around the neighborhood. Hopefully we can return when there is better weather!

Great Vacation spot!!

My family and I loved spending 4 days at this cottage. It was very peaceful and beautiful. The deck overlooking the beach was the best part, we barely left it. The sunsets at nighttime were picture perfect. The owners were very responsive if we had any questions. The yard was big enough for our pup to enjoy her time and she loved it. It was so nice to have her with us. Definitely recommended.

Beautiful location

We enjoyed our time here. The property is in the most incredible location to take in the beauty of the area. We ended up buying an air mattress because the full bed mattress was uncomfortable. There was some dog hair on the furniture and blankets, but the house felt clean overall. I would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone. We're grateful for the time we spent here as a family!

Sunsets and Dog Friendly

If you are looking for fancy and modern, this is not the place. BUT if you are looking for comfortable, dog friendly and gorgeous sunsets, then rent this place! Bay beach right across the street, sunsets can't be beat. Dogs loved the yard and were obsessed with the bunnies in the adjoining yard! Will definitely rent again. Gary was easy to work with and answered my emails immediately,

Perfect Location, As Always

This was my 6th or 7th (I've lost track) annual July stay and I'm still in love. Early morning dolphin & osprey watching on the deck, gorgeous sunsets just a step away every evening, and all in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. True that it would benefit from a little TLC, but I'm not a perfectionist, I still find it charming. It's clean, comfortable, and well stocked for a vacation stay. See you next year!

Amazing Location!

We came for a long weekend stay. The location was amazing! You could be in the ocean within 5 minutes of walking out the door. The house is in a residental neighborhood so there isn't much noise at night. The landscaping was great! We saw so many birds and rabbits which was really nice. The back porch was amazing! We spent every evening out there watching the sun go down. The ocean is really gentle at that beach and we didn't have to worry about our kids with the waves. We would love to rebook in the future!

House terrible. View fantastic. White paint, cleaning and just a little update, could be gem

This house is very dirty and in poor condition. Paint chipping, garage sale /dumpster decor, dirty sponge/washcloth in kitchen sink, junk with silverware in sticky drawer, some windows don't open, old butter used, food. View fantastic, clean bathroom, curtain rod rusting, airconditioner excellent and water pressure too. Notes helpful to resident.

i Wonder if the cleaning crew showed up cause i get reviews all the time about how clean it is? PEO;LE also say they like the comfortable cozy furniture.
