With a wonderful location and plenty of room for the entire family, this condo in Gulf Shores is perfect for your next vacation. As you enter The Colonnades 603, you are greeted with a full kitchen, dining area, and a living room that leads to a private balcony with a full Gulf View. The primary bedroom also offers a full view, as well as an adjoining primary bathroom with a whirlpool tub and walk-in shower. The additional three bedrooms and three full bathrooms are all spacious and welcoming.

The Colonnades is a lovely beach resort that offers several amenities, including an indoor pool, outdoor pool, sauna, hot tub, barbecue area, and a fitness center. Great location for our family of 8, which included grandparents and teenagers. Plenty of room and great views. Easy access to the beach. Only downfall- one of the bedrooms/ restrooms in the condo was more outdated than the others and smelled like urine. Even with cleaning products we could not get the restroom to smell better. Maybe someone had kept a pet in there? Overall, the space was good.

This place truly won’t disappoint—the location, views, and spacious condo make it an excellent choice. In addition to the four bedrooms, there’s a pullout couch, which made our large group very comfortable throughout our stay. We had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.If you plan to cook, be sure to bring all your ingredients. The kitchen is well-equipped with a Keurig and drip coffee maker, pots, pans, utensils, plenty of dishes, as well as a crockpot, waffle maker, and toaster. There’s even a separate ice maker that keeps plenty of ice on hand.You’ll also want to bring your own beach equipment. Overall, this place is fantastic—you won’t be disappointed and will truly enjoy your stay. We had absolutely no complaints.

This condo was excellent for our family vacation. It is large enough to accommodate the 8 adults and one toddler. The ocean view is unbeatable from the spacious balcony. The beach is well maintained and easily accessible. The pool area is also great for swimming and relaxing. I highly recommend this unit and the host. They responded quickly to any questions and are very pleasant. I am sure we will be back.

This condo was a last minute Labor Day weekend rental. We are so glad we chose it! Plenty of space for our party of 9! Perfect location and great condo! Would stay here again.

The door code did not work when we arrived...called the number given and got an x-rated recording...found another number that a live person answered and thankfully he was able to change the code. Not enough seating in the living room area...The cost was more than we usually pay, so would not book that one again.

Great Stay

Perfect location and wonderful property very close to beach. Only problem was that one elevator was down and the wait was long at times. Otherwise it was an awesome trip. Would stay there again.

This condo had lots of space which was perfect for my family. The deck was nice and spacious. The one downfall was that the kitchen didn’t have any seasonings for cooking. We did love that there was an ice maker by the bar area so we were able to put ice in our coolers before heading to the beach. Overall the place was nice and clean and we really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent view at the beach

The view is amazing. Great, quiet location. No parties. Good family setting. The beach and pool are just a quick walk from the elevator. Nice Security guard. Convenient to many restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, and entertainment. We would stay here again.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay. It was right on the beach. Plenty of room for our family. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. It was really convenient to have the access codes sent to us so we could drive straight to the property. Everything was in good working condition. We we’re very pleased and hope to stay again in the future.

Worth the price of admission!

The property was modern and clean. Things that needed attention were immediately addressed. The beach and condo are beautiful and very family friendly! My only regret is that I only booked one week instead of two.

Nice, but….

Nice room, we all were comfortable but a malfunctioning fire or prank made the trip lose its 5 Star rating. It would’ve gotten at least 4 because of the room and location.

Great room with a view

Great experience, loved the view from the balcony. There was ample space for all 9 people in our family. We did have to go buy trash bags, dishwashing soap and laundry detergent, as two trash bags, two dishwashing tabs and soap for two loads of laundry was not near enough for a 5 day stay with 10 people. With that being said, I would definitely return to this room. Beach access was wonderful and was centrally locates to restaurants and entertainment. A 9 a.m. checkout is a little early IMO, but the property was clean and comfortable nonetheless. I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling with a large family.

Nice, but it had issues.

Air conditioning did not work. It was a miserable 75 degrees in March. Hot water ran out after only two showers. The whirlpool tub was broken and the jets did not work.

Nice, but...

We really did enjoy our stay, but there are several things about this condo that made the stay annoying. The back bedroom gets no air and is constantly hot. One of the bedrooms has a window that faces the elevator area and there is a light on out there that cannot be turned off. The bedroom has blinds, but no curtains, so it constantly seems daylight outside. Makes it very difficult to get little ones to sleep and hard for adults as well who actually want to sleep in the dark...One of the armchairs in the living room is broken and almost dumps you in the floor if you sit in it. The back bedroom shower is messed up and hard to use. Pros: condo was clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Layout was nice for a large group. Would stay again if we could get confirmation that some of the items were addressed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Vacation Stay

Beautiful condo and location! My family had a wonderful time. You are right on the beach and can walk to some restaurants, markets and shops. The only issue we had is that the condo is currently having work done so only one elevator was in use which equaled a long wait some times. Hopefully this will be done quickly for the people staying here.
