Hi Nate; Thank you so much for the review and your honesty. I must apologize however that you walked into a Hot Apartment. That was not done to save money. I have been out of town for a month for work, and it's obvious that my temp forgot one major step of preparing the place for your arrival. I truly truly apologize. And yes, it can get confusing when traveling at night (hence our attempts to get people here in daylight hours - especially on Day 1). The Coastal Fog does come in, which we love, but it can make it confusing at night surely. Unfortunately we can't do anything about this ;/ But you now know the reasoning for our written directions sent to you, as it makes it so much easier. Most phone GPS's will work on here EXCEPT Resetting it while up here, as there are no cell towers up in this canyon (but there are applications in for some to be placed - fingers crossed). Again, many thanks for joining us, we really do hope that you will come back and try once again - this time the air will be on (or heater - depending on when/if you come back). Sincerely J. Love

Thank you for the recommendation on the TV - looking into do so now, so if you do come back (we would love to have you back), the TV will be updated as well as the DVD collection. We are also planning on changing out the electric fireplace to push out heat as well to make it extra cozy. We're so happy to have had you here.

This is not a fair review at all. The shower issue was the tenant not pulling the plug up in the shower - we can't help that, but we did have someone come right out to pull the plug for her. We also did not say a word or charge them for showing up 2 hours early without notice. We show a photo of the view from the patio, and it is even nicer now then it was in the photo, so not sure what they were expecting.
