Labor Day vaca

Nice place for the 4 day weekend. Close to beach, restaurants and store. House was clean and plenty of amenities. Would stay again.

This house was in the perfect location. It made our stay enjoyable. The house itself, shows a little wear......but that did not bother us.

Perfect location for beach time and access to Southern California attractions. Rental unit was the perfect size for six. Well maintained.

Newport Redux

Family stay for a wedding near where we used to live. A fantastic return to see some old favorites and visit some new ones. Our VRBO was a perfect base of operations, near where we needed to be, just right for hosting. Can't wait to go back!

Great place to sty

This property is very well located, just three blocks from the beach and from shopping and restaurants, but away from the crowds. The Burr White management company was very responsive and helpful, quickly taking care of any questions that we asked of them. The apartment is comfortable and had what we needed. Nice patio, grill, comfortable beds, two nice bathrooms. Make sure your car is not an SUV or larger— the garage is tight when another vehicle is parked there.

Weekend family gathering.

The location and property was perfect for our family. Open layout of kitchen was great for preparing meals. Close to ocean and grocery store. No car needed. Outside of property could use a power wash. The mattress in one of the bedrooms and sofa was too soft, needs replacing. But the good outweighed the bad and we enjoyed our stay. Property was clean.

A week at the beach

This property was extremely disappointing from the lack of cleanliness to the poor condition of the property in general. We had leaks when it rained and there was no support during the holiday weekend.

We take care to train our cleaning crews and most of the time they take pride in their job to present our properties to our guests ready to occupy and CLEAN. If a guest is unhappy, Burr White Realty goes the extra mile and makes amends. In this instance, Burr White Realty refunded to you 50% of the cost to stay at this property. We were a bit surprised you did not mention our attempt to meet the you half way with a 50% credit in your review. Burr White Management

And you’ll have to wait for an hour for the coffee pot to brew!

Reviewer Comments: We rented the downstairs unit for a week this year The location was good near grocery store and the boardwalk- a short walk to the beach and a view of the “pirate house” Beds needed replacement and the couch was broken down The place was worn but the price was good I can’t say enough about the staff at Burr White They were very accommodating and when we notified them of the broken box fans they were replaced the next morning All in all it was clean and all things functioned just a little worn

My overall would be a 5 instead of a 4 if the owner would just update a few things. The window blinds in the living room do not work and the slider to the front patio is hard to open and falling apart. Also please have the maid service put the linens on the beds. The guest should not have to do it. The master bed was very comfortable but my guests said the middle room bed caved in the middle.

Reviewer Comments: BW very responsive to questions amd pleasant to deall with.The rental needs some upgrades and basic maintenance and upgrades.Needs some better lighting, inadequate light in any room to read.The curtains don’t fit the sliding door.Blinds in bedrooms are rather disheveled.Could ise a permanent coffee filter in order to make first pot,or bring your Keurig cups!The second BR bed is like sleeping in a water bed

Not what we expected

Reviewer Comments: We came in the week of September 20, 2023 for my daughters wedding, and we had guests arriving from all over to accompany us at this location. Upon arrival, the place looks like a party house and was not clean and the rooftop area was nasty along with the screen door was broken, and the vent in the house had so much dust and mold that people that were staying with us had major allergy problems because of it, the pictures that they show on here are not at all what the place is.

Great stay

My parents stayed while in town for my enegagement party. It was super conveniently located by tons of restaurants, but we utilized the kitchen a lot and bought groceries at the Pavilions marke, which was walking distance. The amenities were great and the beds were comfortable. Everyone enjoyed their stay

Nice getaway

Only a short, easy walk to the beach. Great dining options within walking distance. You can definitely park your vehicle in the garage, and not need it again for a week! The house itself is nice, could use a few touch ups and updates. Overall it's nice.
