Ocean Pines - Oregon Beach Vacations

Nestled just over the hill from Tillamook, Ocean Pines is a bright and welcoming vacation home perfect for a peaceful coastal getaway. With 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, this newer home comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests.

The main level features a spacious great room, including a living room with a large flat-screen TV, a dining area, and a beautiful gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and elegant tile work. Step out onto the deck to enjoy a BBQ while soaking in the sights and sounds of nature.

Upstairs, the primary bedroom offers a queen bed and en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Two additional guest bedrooms, each with queen beds, provide extra comfort—one of the guest rooms features a TV with satellite and DVD player. The second-level deck offers scenic views of the Pacific Ocean, ideal for a relaxing escape.

Located in a serene wooded setting with distant ocean views, Oceanside is a quaint beach town perfect for a peaceful vacation. Enjoy beach walks north to Oceanside or south to Netarts, or take a short 10-minute drive to Tillamook to tour the famous Tillamook Cheese Factory and indulge in delicious samples of cheese, fudge, and ice cream.

Super convenient location!

We came to fish and crab and it’s a great location for all of it! Super close for those early morning starts on the River.

Great time

The place was awesome. We just needed a place to sleep and relax as we traveled up and down the Oregon coast. The house was very clean. We would definitely stay there again.

relaxing stay

This was a nice place or our family. Bare bones on cooking supplies so bring everything you need including spices. Very comfortable for our family and nice and quiet. Even though we couldn't see the ocean, we could hear it at night which was really nice.

Nice place at the coast

Work Trip

The home was a good size for our needs and the location worked well. The previous occupants must have cooked something odorous because there was a strong smell of pizza or something similar in the house the entire visit. We opened windows and doors each day to help clear it out but was unable to get it to completely go away.

Quiet and Secluded

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect getaway for our family with room to spread out within the home. We couldn't access the beach due to the high tides and weather, but we could hear the ocean at night which was nice. The kitchen is pretty bare bones so plan to bring EVERYTHING you might need. There are pots and pans, but bring any seasonings other than salt and pepper. Overall this was a great place for our family.

Unfortunately, we do not stock our homes with seasonings, oil, etc besides salt and pepper. If our homes have these items, they have been left by previous guests. Oceanside

Oceanside beaches and surrounding areas were absolutely beautiful. The town is tiny so less visitors, which was a big plus for us. My only complaint, which is really nothing that could be done about. Our rental was only 5 blocks from the beach, which for us would have been an enjoyable walk. But there is only one road in to the beaches, and that main road is so narrow and curvey that we would have been totally afraid to walk it ourselves let alone with kids. The house worked great for everything else and was stocked with everything needed. All around it was a great getaway.

Okay beach trip

Two things that were disappointing and keep us from coming back to this location. #1The beds are very uncomfortable. It was two couples on this trip and none of us got any sleep. #2 Every dish we touched was dirty.

July-August stay

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is nice and in a secluded location but close to the beach. There is not an ocean view. We arrived at 4:10pm and cleaning was not done until almost 6:30pm so we had to wait around the area. They did not pick up the garbage and the smell in the garage was horrendous of rotting food and fish so we could not park in the garage nor did we want to open the door! We didn’t want to out the bags outside in case the animals got into it. We called everyday for pick up and it took three days for someone to come. There is not WiFi but we had spotty cell service. Lots of cob webs in the corners of the rooms.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our weekend was a flop, not all of it by fault of this home exactly. We'd never stayed in Oceanside before. Some things we wish we'd known or paid attention to prior to booking: 1) There's basically no cell service in the area, can't even access google maps, so you better have your agenda pre-plotted. 2) This property does not offer Wi-Fi (we had 4 teens/preteens in tow). 3) This home does not have AC. 4)Beach access difficult parking. While the beach is lovely, the access place for the public is in the tiny town and if you don't get there early morning you will struggle all day long to find a place to park. We got there Friday night and didn't get to walk the beach til 0730 Sunday morning. If there's beach access "5 blocks" away, we could not figure where. That being said, it would have been nice to have a binder or some info provided in the home regarding places to access the beach, places to eat, things to do or see. There was nothing, not even info regarding what day is garbage day-and the garbage can was full when we arrived. We left Sunday night in a mad hurry instead of Monday morning because it was way too hot to sleep in the house that night (we understand that most of the time at the coast AC is not needed). The home itself was nice, we enjoyed the wooded view from the deck.

All appliances work and extras were given to make the stay more comfortable. There were 4 issues that did bother other while staying here.1. The beds are very uncomfortable. I am not a person with a back problem but the bed (master bedroom) made my back hurt every morning I woke up. My friend said his bothered him too.2. The listing I read mentioned wifi but we found no information in the email or in the house about it. Cell phone reception is spotty so if you plan on doing anything that requires internet, this is not the place for you.3. The garage had tons of trash from the previous vacationers and it made the garage reek. It didn't affect the house but if wanted to wash some clothes, it made it unpleasant.The upstairs hallway bathroom does not close. We invested in a doorstop so we could enjoy privacy.All in all, I loved my stay but I wanted others to be aware of some of the issues. The place is very clean (aside from the garage) and set up nicely to enjoy your stay.Thanks so much.

Poor customer service

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental is ok. Beds are old and there isn't wifi, but the view is nice. The garage fit our car. We found garbage under 2 beds and the garbage cans were full so we had nowhere to put garbage. They changed our reservation check-in time from 4pm to 730 without telling us. The woman responsible for informing us was especially toxic, blaming us for not getting a voicemail (which she didn't leave). After we discussed the issue and I was hanging up, she told me it was all my fault and hung up. The cleaning lady was crying. It was rather bizarre. I wouldn't recommend this company as I heard around town that organisation isn't their strong point.

Cons=internet/wi-fi was HORRIBLE! Would’ve been nice to have some more features as we flew and couldn’t pack beach items, house should’ve included a few beach towels and beach chairs. Also, each bed only had one cover and there were no extra blankets in the house. Other than the lack of “extras”, it was a lovely house! We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was the perfect size for my 6 person family to not feel crowded. It was well stocked with your basic needs. The main deck is over looking a quiet wooded area where we saw wildlife daily. Star gazing from the deck at night was amazing. It was only a short drive to a beautiful beach.Things that could be improved; cleanliness. The floors were not properly swept or vacuumed. We found a large shard of glass under the dining table as well as plenty of dirt that could have been easily swept up with a basic cleaning. There was candy and other specks of who knows what on the carpet that could have also easily been cleaned with a basic vacuuming. There was hair on both the night stand & quilt in the primary bedroom as well as "stains" on the linens. Overall, this is a nice house in a lovely location that could be improved immensely with a thorough cleaning and updated living room furniture.

Awesome Get away!!!

Great location

This location was ideal for the cost. But I will say it does need an upgrade, the linens were stained, and very worn. There was piles of trash outside all the drawers and corners had crumbs and carpet was dirty upon arrival. Definitely needs a good deep clean! But if that was taken care of it’s a nice little place in a great location and priced well for what it is. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

Great if your looking for remote 100% UNPLUGGED vacation!

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was nice however upon arriving we had to call and find out what the wifi password was so the lady gave it to me and it connected to something but not sure what cause there was no router box so I think they try and go off another house nearby to escape paying. The following day I was told by the same lady that there was no wifi. Wifi was included as an amenity when I booked then after complaining it disappeared magically.My mother came on this trip thinking she would be able to work and was unable to do so.Then our car died and since we had no wifi and our cell service didn’t work, we walked up this hill to finally be able to reach someone and was told that not having wifi wasn’t an emergency but had to remind them that, that was not our emergency. Our emergency was having our car not start but then not having a way to call out because the land line I in the house does not work as well as the cableThe house was decent but not for all the troubles we went thorough and getting mixed answers on wether or not they have wifi shows that these people renting this house are not honest and just want $.The other houses in the area seemed to have working wifi, cable, no troubles at all so if this was my rental, I would be fixing a few things for a much more pleasant stay for future guests.

My family and I had such a wonderful experience at the coast! It was my children's first time to the coast, and this was a great time. I would suggest maybe getting a more secure wifi and having a password available for guests. Other than that, it was such a great place to stay and escape from the normal rush of life.
