Lake Point Hideaway - Oregon Beach Vacations

Lake Point Hideaway is a gorgeous lakefront home with its own shallow draft boat slip in Neotsu, just five minutes east of Lincoln City. Guests are welcome to fish, swim and play in beautiful Devils Lake while staying at this vacation rental. Kayaks and canoes are welcome and will not cause damage to the landscape. Enjoy the peace and serenity of the lake waters from the boat slip. This home is located on the warm side of the lake, as the locals would say, since it is at the far end from D River and the mouth of the Pacific Ocean.

Lake Point Hideaway has recently been furnished with all new beds, furniture, bedding, and TV. You'll be able to rest and relax in comfort and style while enjoying Devil's Lake during the warm summer months! The home can be accessed by going down about four steps as you enter through the sun room. With two bedrooms and two baths, this vacation home can easily accommodate up to eight people. There are two rooms with queen beds, one extra area with a twin-full bunk bed. There is one full bath while the other has a walk-in shower that doubles as the laundry room.

You can enjoy the view of the lake from the living room, dining room and the kitchen. Guests are invited to use the cable TV, DVD player, board games and Wi-Fi while vacationing here. Feel free to bring your own canoes or kayaks if you'd like to explore the lake in another way!

Dog Friendly for up to 2 dogs, no other pets allowed. Please do not leave dogs unattended at any time in or on the property.

Parking is available for up to 2 vehicles at this home. Boat Slip is for Canoe or Kayak only. Please note that motor boats, trailers and RVs are unfortunately not permitted here.

Rustic Beach Home

The property has a private access to the lake which we enjoyed. Morning or night, the view was breathtaking. There could be property improvements inside and out that would make the stay more spectacular.

The house was in a very nice area and very close to town, grocery store, outlet mall, casino and beautiful fishing docks House could use some landscaping and paint but overall was a very beautiful view and area

Week of peace

Neighborhood was nice and quiet, views from the deck were amazing however the house needs a little tlc. House was clean and had everything we needed❤️ thank you for the wonderful week

Bed was comfortable appeared to be new mattress, kitchen was nice size. Outside needed some work, bushes blocking some of the view of lake with overgrown blackberry bushes. But overall good.

Big house. Great view. Small slip to launch kayaks. Not good fishing at this point on the lake as it’s very shallow. The wildlife was amazing. We watched the otters play from the back deck. Family loved it. And it was relatively cheap.

Nice view

The house needs a lot of work and the carpets need to be replaced. The decking is in pretty rough shape, but it does have a pretty view and the bathtub is nice in the kitchen was overall function.

Stinky heaven

I continue to love nearly everything about this property other than how incredibly strong the urine smell has become. I thought the crunchy shag carpet was bad seven years ago but since the carpet hasn’t been replaced possibly ever, it was so stinky this time we didn’t adjust to the odor even after a few days. Other than that I love this place!

This Home is a Disaster.

The house is in terrible Shape. Carpets full of pet waste, sticky floors. Smelly all over. Cob webs / front fence blown down with Nails. Furniture full of Urine and god knows what. We always bring spare sheets To help the stench. This rental is a mess ! Yuk

Beautiful location

The location was beautiful! Very convenient and not far from town at all. The beds were very comfortable! The problem was with the ants. They were everywhere! We had to throw away a ton of food because we didn’t know about the ants until it was too late. They were in the kitchen and bathrooms. Also- it would be nice if the couches had washable covers on them. They were definitely dated and had a distinct odor. Appreciated the coffee pot and filters and found what we needed in the kitchen. Enjoyed staying here despite the few problems. Great place to use as home base on our Oregon Coast adventure!

Summer Stay Away

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very nice and clean on the inside. It worked well for my family and dog. The outside was a different story. The front door sticks pretty badly, so too does the door from the entry way to the deck. There were tons of spider webs all along the deck outside. The lake was an amazing view, but very difficult to get down to as you have to squeeze between some bushes and a fence. The furnishings were comfy and well maintained. Overall we enjoyed our time at the Lake Point Hideaway.

Rating Details: The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was lovely. There were some pros and cons about the house: Pros: Location on the lake Bathrooms updated and clean Spacious with lots of windows with a lovely view Cons: Deck railing dangerous- I wouldn't lean on it or allow children to play there unattended Access to the lake very narrow and someone needs some cutters to trim the blackberry bushes growing into the little space there is. Cobwebs all over the place outside structure of the house- I mean ALL OVER. Although the inside was clean, the outside was pretty bad.

Pictures were not accurate

Are stay was quite uncomfortable. We were under the impression by the pictures in the ad that there were 3 beds in one of the bedrooms. However there were only 2. This meant that one of us had to sleep on the couch. Therefore, in order not to wake the person on the couch in the morning it was very inconvenient. There was also a leak under the sink, the floors were not clean, the backyard is not fenced in for the dog, the stove is not working correctly, there were ants in the kitchen and the toiletries and kitchen supplies were to small, (not enough toilet paper, dish soap and garbage bags.)

Terrible! Don't Waste The Money!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was very dirty. Furniture had holes and was uncomfortable. You could feel the support bars instead of the cushions. The bed made my back hurt enough to see a Dr. when I got home. There was so much dirt on the ceiling fan that we couldn't turn it on. The back bedroom had no light because the lamp wouldn't turn on. The carpet had staples coming up so they snagged soxs and feet. There was a cologne smell in my bed. I will not rent from this company again.

Will never stay here again!

Dirty! For the amout we paid for the "cleaning" fee, we expected it to be clean! This was NOT the case. The furniture was old and not comfortable. Couch in living room cannot be sat on because the support bars are all that can be felt. The other couch has a huge hole in the back of it an the cushions dip toward the middle. The beds were not comfortable. I have flea bites up and down my legs. Walls in kitchen are filthy. Comforter has pee spots. Carpet staples catch soxs and feet. There was a cologne smell in my bed. Lamp in back bedroom did not turn on and there was no other source of light. This is a saftey hazard. If these issues are not resolved with us in the next 10 days we will be telling everyone we know to never use this rental company as well as leaving reviews everywhere we can online. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a rental here in Lincoln City. We could have had a very nice hotel room for the same expensive rate per night and been much more comfortable!

Don't waste your money on this home

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home should not be rented. It is not taken care of at all. The home exterior of the home was covered in spider webs. I had to ask The management company to come and clean them off. There were spiders all over the interior. One was at least 2 inches in diameter. The hand rail on the deck is about to fall off. The carpets are filthy. If you use both sides of the toaster, the breaker trips and the breaker box is located in the locked basement therefore you have to call the management company to reset the breaker. Lake access isn’t easy. There are blackberry bushes that have overgrown the path. I won’t stay here again. The management company needs to do a much better job. I was told the home was inspected the day before we arrived, but it clearly was not. The digital door lock didn’t work so we had to call for the lockbox code.

Great place but really needs some updating. Perhaps a good cleaning on the outside.

It was a really fun weekend, house is great but wasn't very clean, there were spider wens everywhere.. inside and put. The stove is very outdated as well. Master bed was very comfortable.

Great Lake View

The house is outdated but totally comfortable, the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, there were plenty of towels and we found what we needed in the kitchen. Access to the dock could be difficult for some people, the yard was very over grown and there was no distinct path. The boat slip was useable but had not been maintained at all. We had a wonderful time on the lake and overall our stay was great, just a few easily fixable maintenance issues.

House by lake

Overall was a lovely house and was easy to get to. I would stay there again. Will say one of the shower head started to leak. Then did have a slight smell of anima, think it smelled like dog!

This properly needs work

We had a good time but there were a lot of problems at the facility. The main shower is cracked in the bottom of it, it feels like you will fall through. The other shower tends to backup on you so you stand in your own water. The the stove need to be replaced, 2 burners worked and the other 2 didn't even fit in the stove top. There were ants everywhere. One of the bedroom sheets for dirty, and for as many people as it sleeps the parking is very bad.
