3 BEDROOM, 2 BATH comfortable, cozy home that sleeps 6-8. Come spend a few days in this relaxing, clean home in a safe neighborhood. In 2020 added a new comfortable queen size pillow top mattress in Master bedroom...so comfortable you will be amazed.

This newer home has 2 living rooms with 42ā€ TV in the upper living room and 50ā€ in the lower living room. A corner fireplace in the upper living room and a crystal fireplace with adjustable heat control in the lower living room. The open concept kitchen gives way to a living room and makes it nice for togetherness while preparing a meal. It is ready for use with dishes, new pots and pans, and the essentials for cooking or baking. The table seats 6 to 8 and has a leaf available for seating up to 10 people. It overlooks a huge deck with a fenced- in yard and beautiful flower garden with fountain (not in use in the winter); also a grill and patio set with a cantilever umbrella. The lower level has a newer LG washer and dryer and has a get-away space for the kids to watch TV or DVD player and VCR with movies available.

The two car garage has a remote control for easy access into the lower living room. Standing Bear Lake is close by within 5 minutes, or there are two bicycles to ride to it within 10-15 minutes. A very nice lake that offers bike trails, fishing, picnicking or walking.

This property is conveniently located by grocery stores, Walgreens, WalMart, restaurants and/or lounges, gas stations, theaters and most anything you would need. The interstate is also within minutes to drive to the airport, downtown, the zoo, concerts, etc. Just let us know where you need to go in Omaha or surrounding cities and we will give you detailed directions to accommodate your stay.

Felt Like Home

We enjoyed our stay. It was a very homey feel. We were very comfortable and everything was easy to use and find.I especially enjoyed the shower heads. I have something similar at home but, these have an outer circle, so when you pull out the handheld, you can still get rinsed by the outer spray. Hard to describe but wonderful to experience.

Nice house in a quite neighborhood

The house was very clean and kept up and had a garage to park in. There was plenty of room for the three of us. Located in a quite neighborhood about 20 mins from downtown which was very easy to get to from the house. A grocery store was less than 5 mins away. I would stay here again.

Not smoke free. Reeked

My daughter missed an important event because Susan insisted on meeting everyone. I have no idea why that was necessary. She insisted on meeting and what shouldā€™ve been a five minute handover of the keys turned into a 40 minute lecture. Thereā€™s towels but donā€™t use them, Thereā€™s a stove with the kettle on it, but donā€™t use the kettle. if you donā€™t want people in your home then you shouldnā€™t be hosting on vrbo. Probably the worst is that several of us were very sensitive to smoke and this house was definitely not smoke free it reeked like a wet ashtray. We had to have the windows open at all time because it was overpowering. I hung three dresses in the bedroom closet for our three nights stay and they are now all in the wash with the rest of my clothes because it smells like Iā€™ve been in a bar all weekend. There are amenities, mostly complementary of United Airlines along with snacks from 2017. She also insisted on taking our photos and a picture of my sonā€˜s drivers license which is beyond creepy

House full of rules.

The owner is not friendly.The house is full of rules. Owner doesnā€™t want your family and friends come over and say hello.Owner has some one spying. And reports everything you do in and out of the house and how many people are coming over for a talk.She will charge you for family and friends coming over for visits.Family and I were supposed to be staying 4 nights there, but we had to check out a day earlier because she called us and said she had a call from her spymaster that they were more than 20 people come in and out of the house.She has a cameras every corner of the house.She told me that, No visitors.

Perfect Family Friendly Stay in Omaha

We had a wonderful stay at Sueā€™s property! She was a fantastic hostā€”very responsive and made the check-in process smooth and stress-free. The home was spotless, beautifully appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were especially cozy, and we all slept great. The neighborhood is peaceful, family-friendly, and conveniently located. This is a perfect place to stay when visiting Omahaā€”weā€™d definitely return!

North Omaha Stay

Very quiet and peaceful. Susan and Tim are great people and are excellent hosts. She will go over all details with you at check in and are very close to the property if you have issues. Just a phone call away to answer any questions or concerns you might have. Will staying in the home I was working on a job site 4 minutes away and stayed for 2 weeks. Felt like home.

KNOW before you stay here - all facts here, folks

I am a true believer in giving an honest and open review for others ā€“ not at all to bash the owners, or hurt someoneā€™s feelings. Transparency and trust, for me, is vital with Vacation Home Stays ā€“ for both the customers and the owner/leasing company. This all starts with how the home is being presented in the posting: PROā€™s: Rooms were tidy / Host was very gracious with toiletries ā€“ so nice / Decent location / Bunkbed was fun for kids / 2 sitting areas to watch TV ā€“ came in handy with kids / Netflix in the house ā€“ what a treat! CONā€™s: Personal check-in and ā€œHow-Toā€™sā€ with the owner not all necessary in my opinion / King size bed that was stated in the posting had small print next to it that we missed ā€“ it is a tremble bed, not a king-sized bed / The house is dated - I believe the ad stated that the house is new ā€“ maybe it was the wording? Itā€™s an older home, folks / The house stays very hot in summer in the upper portion of the home. This is just by the design of an older home, as the A/C is down in the basement, and the bedrooms at the top where we slept were not comfortably cool until after 2am ā€“ even on the second day. Really dirty comforters/bed cover with fresh brown smear marks on one, and had a huge amount of mucus or some kind of discharge from a human body. Was truly grossed out, and I had to smell and check all of the covers in the house that we were using. The hard part was trying to make my daughters feel comfortable after seeing this. Warm welcome and comfortable stay

Our stay was BEYOND amazing! Susan was a wonderful host. Her home was lovely and the best decision made in renting for this trip to Nebraska from Texas.. We were able to relax, watch movies, chat, and eat meals together. None of this is ever possible with hotel stays. We appreciate her for opening her home to us. We truly enjoyed it.

Second Time Home

This is the second time we have rented this property when we go to visit grandkids. With 2 different living areas to gather, it allows different activities to be enjoyed. Grocery shopping closeby which is very convenient.

Omaha visit.

Our host greeted us and gave us an informational tour of the property, a very helpful touch. The property was very clean, and host even indicated we could us the gas barbeque grill on the outside deck, however, we did not have time to use it on this trip, but I thought it was a very nice offer.

MeeMaw and Poppop visit with Grandkids

This house was very clean and well decorated. We had to move some things to keep them from our grandkids and there were closets to hide the delicate items from peering eyes. Our hostess was very responsive to our needs and gave us good recommendations on groceries, parks, and left some stuffed animals, toys, and even a gate for the kids. We enjoyed our stay in this friendly neighborhood.

Great place to stay!

We had a great time staying at Susanā€™s place! It was very clean and well taken care of. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed eating most of our meals in. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe, I took many walks. The only suggestion I might have is curtains in the two bedrooms where there are only mini blinds, the sun beams in and woke us up, wasnā€™t a huge deal as we left early for ballgames most mornings. I would recommend this house and will stay again if we return to Omaha. Thank you Susan for the great stay!!
