Great location that you can walk to just about everything you need, food, coffee and eating out! Beach is very easy to get to from the back door.

Being able to walk outside and be so close on to the beach is the best. Plenty of space for everyone. It was perfect. We love beaches that aren't crowded and there was still lots to do in the area just by walking around.

Very clean and well decorated house. Well stocked with dish, dishwasher and laundry soap; and paper towels. Kitchen well stocked with all utensils and needed items. Beautiful beach views from both decks.

We loved the location and could walk to many places. The beds were comfortable and the place was well furnished. The decks were amazing. Bathrooms could use some updating The showers had some mold. Overall, it was a great place.

The location of the house is perfect. Enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sunrise. Easy access to the beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The house is pet friendly, which is very nice. Would highly recommend this rental as this was 2nd time here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have visited St George Island many times since 1993. I love this island. It rakes me away from the world. I enjoyed this house. The patio out back was a nice shady area most of the day. I like that it’s walking distance from most restaurants and stores. It’s nice to not have to get in your car. We enjoyed the back porches. We were out there or at the beach mostly.

Great vacation at Tangerine Dream. Easy walkimg distance to shops and restaurants. Lovely beach views from geound floor and 2nd floor. Got some beautiful sunrise and sunset pictures. Lovely and relaxing. Kitchen was well stocked.most places dont have a stocked kitchen and I cook so it was a nice surpise. Place was clean and inviting. Had a wonderful time.

Weather was great as well as accommodations. This was out first visit to St George but we will definitely be back!!

Very nice, up-to-date property.The location is excellent, especially if you just want to walk around to all of the local shops, stores, and restaurants.No need to rent a golf cart.Staff at forgotten Shores was truly excellent.They responded to my requests pretty much in real time.They also were helpful at extending my stay for a week and even lent me a nice office chair so I could do a bit of work

Well appointed

We loved this one and will definitely rent it again. The louvered decks are a nice touch as well as the large patio. Interior details are also well done with the tile floor, granite and the wood ceiling. Met friendly folks all around us too but never crowded.

Great location!

Fantastic location! It was absolutely perfect staying right on the beach. We weren’t able to check in on time because cleaners were running late. The property management company was able to get ahold of them and rush the process. Make the trip to Indian Pass Raw bar in Apalachicola you won’t be sorry!

Generally as advertised.Pros: clean, great location, well maintained, well equipped, excellent internet, good TVs, comfortable bed in MBR, good W/DCons: dated decor (1980s Tommy Bahama), LR TV too high, needs new dish washer, most windows don’t function, needs better lighting in LR, needs reading lamps in 2nd BR, low quality kitchenware.

Perfect family getaway in the perfect location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We wanted a relaxing beachfront getaway that was within walking distance of the main spots on St George and that is exactly what we got. I had preordered a golf cart but it really wasn’t necessary. The Piggly Wiggly, the pizzeria, the ice cream shop, and the park were all within 0.3miles. My husband loved fishing on the beach everyday and my son loved chasing crabs at night. The back porch had the best views and breeze! We would definitely come back!

Reviewer Comments: This was our second trip to this property and we were again extremely pleased with the condition of the rental, its cleanliness, the provided supplies and equipment. The house is in a perfect location, right on the beach, and also very close to local shops and eating establishments. The beach gear credit though Vay-K is yet another bonus to renting through Forgotten Shores. We also cannot say enough good things about Jamie and her helpfulness and prompt and professional responses. Best we've worked with, hands down.

Beautiful beach house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. Can walk everywhere. Mostly everything was great. Amazing view. Easy beach access. We used beach rental for bikes. Couch bed was unusable. We had to buy air mattress. On Monday property management co offered to bring a new one. Dishwasher hard to close. Downstairs shower with some moldy spots and noisy to close. Small hot water heater. With 7 people in house, I never got a warm shower in the evening. Hardly any spoons.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely house, right on the beach, walking-distance to shops and restaurants - perfect location! Liked the view of the gulf from the upper deck. House was clean and well-maintained, however, there was no "jetted tub/shower" in the master bathroom as advertised online. Extra blankets were brought to the house very soon after we asked for them. In general, the managers were very friendly and polite over the phone. Loved going to the Piggly Wiggly for groceries and Sugar Kingdom for sweets! BBQ from Beach Pit and sandwiches & curly fries from Mango Mike's were good. Bike riding around (half of the) island was easy and fun. Would certainly recommend this property to others, and if it weren't for the lack of a bathtub (a family member needs a bathtub), would love to stay at Tangerine Dream again!
