Amazing family vacation in Wailea!

We loved our stay in Wailea with our three kids ages 13-22. The condo was lovely and roomy enough for all of us and the view from the deck/lanai so beautiful in the mornings and evenings. Loved the convenience of walking to restaurants, shops and the best coffee. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Island Vibe - View Condo!

I have stayed and own in Ekolu and 908 is by far one of the most spectacular condos in every way. Love the Island vibe and the unobstructed views were breathtaking. Very clean, beautifully decorated and appointed. Love this location in the complex. Definitely will stay here again! Wonderful Maui Experience!

Amazing Views

We stayed at this property for 2 weeks. It was very clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. It's close to restaurants, shopping and the beaches. The views from the lanai are amazing. We look forward to staying here again the future.

Fabulous!

This condo is exquisite! Beautifully outfitted and decorated. The view is spectacular. Quiet! Close to The Shops of Wailea and the beach. We didnā€™t need to rent a car! We lived in Wailea for the past 13 years. We sold here and moved to AZ and plan to stay here againā€¦ but longer next time!

most everything was good. the only issues we had were with the tv in the living room, it was very hard to turn on and tune to the stations we wanted. Had to call in for proper instructions many times. Also the lighting in the bathrooms over the sinks was very poor.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As others have mentioned, the view really is incredible, and it's wonderful spending time on the lanai relaxing and watching the sun set. The place itself was clean and though there were some maintenance issues, management tended to them quickly. We'd definitely stay here again.(Note: while we were told there is no propane grilling allowed, there is absolutely a gas grill near the unit that was in use. Otherwise, pick up some charcoal and use the charcoal grill.)

Beautiful vista

This is a very nice property with a stunning view of the ocean. It sits near a putting green so there is a bit of noise in the morning as groundskeepers mow and trim. But the view offsets this negative. The beds are comfortable, the televisions are top notch in size and performance. The only issues were the dryer, which took a long time to dry, and the lack of dish towels. Using paper towels for everything seems wasteful. But, we would definitely return to this tastefully decorated property.

While not on the beach, it is less than .5 miles to walk or drive to the beach - and very quiet and relaxing. The unit was very clean, well decorated and equipped with everything we needed. Beach chairs and towels were appreciated and we rented an umbrella for the week from a local business. This was our first trip to HI and Maui - and in particular, Wailea, was the most beautiful and well maintained area. We loved everything about our stay in this condo. We will return. Mahalo!

Excellent Location

This property was as described. The location was wonderful - plenty of restaurants to walk to, and many more just a short drive away. The two bedrooms were quite separated and provided privacy for the couples. The balcony was lovely and provided a great view of the other islands - the fan helped when the breeze was low. We were warned of ants (as we are every time we visit Maui, not just this location), but for us they were limited to the master bath and werenā€™t too much of a nuisance. We were very strict about keeping food well secured in the kitchen and had no issues there. The one thing I will note - in the master bedroom - there is no door between the bedroom and bathroom. That was an unexpected surprise we could have skipped. We solved the issue with a tension rod and curtain panel from Target, which we left behind in case it was helpful for the next renters. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks!

Best views in Wailea!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent accommodation in an excellent location! The unit has been very tastefully updated to take on a local charm. Very good split-unit A/C (thatā€™s the good kind!) for those of us who need a little reprieve from the glorious but constant Maui warmth. Easy walking distance to Shops at Wailea where you can find a nice mix of shopping and dining opportunities AND and an even shorter walk to the newish Wailea Village with some really cool shopping and dining experiences. The unit itself has an unbelievable, unobstructed view perched above the 10th (I think) green of the Wailea Blue Golf Course. You can see from Makena State Park all the way over to the west Maui mountains. Every morning you can watch the various snorkel and dive boats make their way out to Molokini, and while we were there, we could see many blow spouts of the whales making their way along the coast. The management were highly responsive, and the check-in process was seamless. It was an excellent experience, and will be top of our list for future visits!

Ekolu 908 the good and not so good

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Having stayed in this unit two years ago, I was disappointed with the general condition of the unit during our recent stay. The property is under different ownership and management which may be the cause. I will say that the property management company was very responsive and did what they could to fix the issues but it seemed to me that some of the updates/repairs fall on the owner. The unit is well furnished with a well equipped kitchen and the views are wonderful. The vertical blinds in both bedrooms need to be replaced (the louvers are being held together with scotch tape), the carpet in the master is filthy with large stains in various spots (needs to be cleaned or replaced), several window do not work and the air conditioning in the main room was very noisy (they were going to repair it but were waiting on a part). I brought up all of these isssues with the management company and Josh was incredible helpful and apologetic. I believe that he did everything in his power to rectify the issues. I would recommend this property once all the issues have been addressed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at the Wailea Ekolu 908 condo. The views from this condo are absolutely the best. It's located close to the shopping center in Wailea and the resort beach walks. The furnishings are nice, but a little dated, but not bad. The place has a nice Hawaiian theme throughout. The furniture could have been a little cleaner. Speaking specifically about the couch and dining chairs.Items in need of improvement:1. The unit has a small washer/dryer and it's horrible and in need of replacement. There was mold growing in the unit and it takes a long to wash and dry a load. This is the biggest complaint we had.2. The TV in the master bedroom we were never able to figure out. Most likely operator error, but we couldn't figure it out.3. The unit has AC but it takes a while for the AC to cool the place down, as it's a hybrid of a wall unit.In short, we would stay there again and very much enjoyed out stay, but the things I mention above would have significantly improved on the experience. We also had a Gecko who spent a couple of days in the Master Bath with us. I finally relocated him to the landscaping outside.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was clean and had excellent air conditioning and fans. The view is excellent and the unit is just above a golf green. Nice supply of beach towels and beach chairs. Plenty of parking and you can walk down the hill to shops and restaurants. We were disappointed by a few things: The unit is the most poorly stocked of the 5 or so I have rented in the last 12 years. There is salt and pepper. That's it. It's nice to have some spices and olive oil, etc. Also: Two rolls of the cheapest toilet paper you can buy in each bathroom for a nine night stay is ridiculous. Same with the paper towels. At this price, we shouldn't have to buy our own. We like Wailea Ekolu and will come back. It's a great place and a great location. Wasn't crazy to find that the connecting unit was under renovation on the weekdays. Lots of hammering and sawing. Definitely lessened our enjoyment.

Excellent condo with terrific views of the ocean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is wonderful. First off, the entire condo was **** & span, clean! I mean clean, clean. Plenty of storage throughout, plus it has been updated beyond what youā€™d even expect. From the bedrooms & bathrooms... to the living room with a PS5 & plenty of games... to the snorkel gear, this place has it all & is the nicest weā€™ve stayed in over the years. The kitchen is fully stocked & then some. Anything that you could possibly need is there. The views of the ocean & the huge lanai are amazing. I honestly canā€™t come up with a single negative about this place. We will definitely be back.
